@@Kurumifan15 well, if they got the pipes I hope they get a voice on down the road. With Babymetal, I really enjoyed the fact that sometimes it was all three of them, and sometimes just Su, and sometimes Black Black Babymetal. It would be neat to see that dynamic continued.

@@Kurumifan15 She's not Suzuka, she's Miko Todaka. Metalverse is another j-rock idol group based around Babymetal. They do covers like Karate, DDM, Gimme Chocolate. Also they have already their own songs. Babymetal (Su, Moa, Momoko) is still very active.

About a year ago I came across BabyMetal on CZcams and after seeing the video for gimme chocolate I said to myself I have to see this and I have never been a fan of heavy metal music so this past Saturday I went and saw them and now I have to see them again.U was completely floored and I never seen anything like it and all I can say is WOW
Didn't know what to expect or if I would like this new group. They are actually amazing and I quite like the songs 😊 Not as much as BABYMETAL, but they put on a great show with beautiful vocals and superb choreo. Wish them all the best and a lot uf success 👍🙂

Miko-chan is a talented little lady, but of course everyone who saw her in Sakura Gakuin and/or ASH knew that 😊 Girl said back in 2019 she wanted to be just like her _dai-sempai_ Suzuka -- I'd say with Metalverse she got her wish, and I'm sure she'll keep going further… Helps that the songs are good, or at least I think so! I did NOT expect Miki or "Boss" Yume to be part of this!
I’m not at all surprised Miki and Yume are here. In fact, I was sort of expecting this. I’m still expecting Naomi Claire but I could be wrong. Not going to pass judgement on the songs though - not when Metali has completely seeped into and taken over my brain. 😅
Great fan cam whoever did this. Even the sound is good. Doesn't get much better than this for fan cams. I like the Metalverse songs and choreo. Miko sounds good, especially in the 3rd song, but I hope the other girls get mics and get to sing some also. It was great to see Miki and Yume got added to the group, I thought it would just be the 3 girls from the Babymetal appearances.
Ok...you know when you've been out of the loop for a spell and you see this video and immediately stat going "WTF?! Since when are there 5 girls in Baby Metal?! Where's Moa!? Where's Momo!? This song isn't even on The Other One.....WTF IS HAPPENING TO MY REALITY?!?!?" Then you catch that it isn't even Babymetal....but still love it anyway!
I'm not really up on all the SG girls, but I do remember Miko, Sakia, and Yume, but they were little kids! Has it been that long? I guess it has. Well, you sound great, you look great, and I am very impressed! Well done, super ladies!
Well, Sakia & Miko were 2 of the last 3 girls to join SG so it hasn't been that long -- Sakia would still be in SG today Miko, now 17, really isn't any taller now than she was then, and Yume didn't grow much -- she's about even with Miko Sakia though has had a MAJOR growth spurt and is now almost Suzuka's height 🤯 (hope she keeps going, I want her to end up taller than Perfume's Nocchi who she played the kid version of in 2018, just to nuke Nocchi's brain lol)
Babymetal offers entertainment with music. Like Brittney Spears with a metal band. The genre they fit in is rather unique, enough to attract other rock/metal performers such as Rob Halford and Tom Morello. It is music nobody will ever cover because of its uniqueness. Always worth enjoying.
Have they relaxed the rules of fancams at Japanese venues? I'm surprised to see all the phones out. Great if this is the case because those of us in the west can experience more Babymetal & Metalverse!
I think recording was encouraged this time, which makes sense since it was their live debut. The fact that the fancams haven't been nuked by Amuse yet seems to prove this. It's a nice and free promo.
sadly only Miko has a mic. Which is a shame. I have my theory why that's the case, but I'd like to wait until their solo shows next week are over to see, if my assumption was right.
Miko is 17 years old... What the hell do girls eat in Japan? I mean, Suzuka, Moa, Yui, Momo, Kano, now Miko... By the way, it seems right to me that there are 5 and not 3, as they came out when they sang Karate with Babymetal, I mean, with that performance there were too many comparisons between both lineups, as if it were competition or replacements; being 5, it is perceived somewhat different, it feels like something born from the same but different at the same time.

oh man , this really sad indeed .... you guys seem to forget what the meaning of " Kawaii " is , me know you guys know what Metal is but please re-read your dictionaries again about kawaii , idol , J-pop Idol and J-pop. example : - 50% water in a bottle is not the same with 100% water in a bottle. - 100% sock + 100% glove = glove sock. - 100% kawaii / Idol / J-pop idol + 100% metal = kawaii metal. Babymetal & Metalverse is 100% kawaii / Idol / J-pop idol and 100% metal , by the way J-Pop Idol is not the same as J-Pop and beside BM and MV ... the other band you all mention only have none to 10% of Kawaii factor. and lastly if Babymetal never ever born can you call those other band as Kawaii Metal ? if your answer is " yes " then you all live in a dream. if your answer is " no " then the best you call those band is J-Rock / J-Metal / Alternative J-Metal and J-Pop and the word " Kawaii " is the least on your mind associated with Japanese music genre.
I still don't get the point to have two bands... But I have to say that these songs, maybe are not the best possible (but it's the same for babymetal songs from 2018 onwards...), but are extremely catchy. I like their dancing and Miko (even if probably many parts are not live) seems talented. Her stage presence, cuteness (the way she says "Swing" is so cute) and charm are great. Oh, and by the way i'm italian, so hearing italian words in the second song has been a surprise and really funny.

I think recording was encouraged this time, which makes sense since it was their live debut. The fact that the fancams haven't been nuked by Amuse yet seems to prove this. It's a nice and free promo.
Maybe it's just the festival. Filming the solo shows is not permitted though as stated on the official site.

By the way, it seems right to me that there are 5 and not 3, as they came out when they sang Karate with Babymetal, I mean, with that performance there were too many comparisons between both lineups, as if it were competition or replacements; being 5, it is perceived somewhat different, it feels like something born from the same but different at the same time.

They never been, actually. There's tons of idol groups that mix metal and pop. BABYMETAL popularized the genre, but it wasn't a creation of them.

oh man , this really sad indeed .... you guys seem to forget what the meaning of " Kawaii " is , me know you guys know what Metal is but please re-read your dictionaries again about kawaii , idol , J-pop Idol and J-pop.
example :
- 50% water in a bottle is not the same with 100% water in a bottle.
- 100% sock + 100% glove = glove sock.
- 100% kawaii / Idol / J-pop idol + 100% metal = kawaii metal.
Babymetal & Metalverse is 100% kawaii / Idol / J-pop idol and 100% metal , by the way J-Pop Idol is not the same as J-Pop and beside BM and MV ... the other band you all mention only have none to 10% of Kawaii factor.
and lastly if Babymetal never ever born can you call those other band as Kawaii Metal ?
if your answer is " yes " then you all live in a dream.
if your answer is " no " then the best you call those band is J-Rock / J-Metal / Alternative J-Metal and J-Pop and the word " Kawaii " is the least on your mind associated with Japanese music genre.

ベビーメタルに続き世界制覇だ！日本のテレビなど出なくていいぞ。
I still don't get the point to have two bands... But I have to say that these songs, maybe are not the best possible (but it's the same for babymetal songs from 2018 onwards...), but are extremely catchy. I like their dancing and Miko (even if probably many parts are not live) seems talented. Her stage presence, cuteness (the way she says "Swing" is so cute) and charm are great. Oh, and by the way i'm italian, so hearing italian words in the second song has been a surprise and really funny.
