Some personal footage I have recorded during this amazing show at L'Olympia !
Almost 10 years after my first BABYMETAL show in a smaller venue of the same street (La Cigale), I wanted to record again a bit of the show, and by kitsune-sama what a good show it was!
Also, I was celebrating my 20th BABYMETAL show that night! Crazy to think about all the memories and friends I made along the way...
Here's to 10 more years of BABYMETAL craziness!

ほんとまさか、はじめ海外出る時こんなに受け入れられると思わなかったよね。特にメタルファンに。そもそも日本のメタルファンすら制覇してなかったと思う当時。
そして同時に日本のメタルが海外で通用した、ある種誰でも知ってるクラスは初なんじゃないかな？
細かくは知らないけど俺の感覚ではラウドネスとかよりも浸透してると思う。そういう意味でも嬉しい。

Small venue for them.
Well, that's the biggest venue they played in France as a solo act so far!
La Cigale (in 2014) and Elysée Montmartre (in 2019) capacities are around the same at 1400 people, La Laiterie (2015 & 2023) is around 1200 person, and this venue, L'Olympia, is 2000 person.
It is a small venue for them compared to what they do in Japan, but for Europe that's a pretty big venue !

Solche Handymitschnitte gehören verboten- schreckliche Bilder- noch schrecklicherer Ton. Die Leute, die ihren ganze Zeit mit der Aufnahme verbracht haben, können einem leid tun- von der wirklichen Atmosphäre des Konzerts dürften sie kaum was mitbekommen haben ...
I've seen BABYMETAL live 20 times now, I can assure you I had all the time to enjoy their concert :)
I understand your opinion on that matter, it also annoys me to see an ocean of people recording on their phones rather than living in the moment, but that's the reason I also went to their concert in Strasbourg 2 weeks before the one in Paris, and that I didn't take my phone out a single second there ;)
