The interesting thing about the deluxe edition suits that I haven’t seen anyone talk about is that all the suits were made by guest artists across the film/comic/PlayStation game’s industry. And I think the reason that the encoded suit looks so good and the reason everyone kinda unanimously agrees it’s the best of the bunch is because that suit was created by the lead artist on across the spider verse.

I think the newer suit for Peter is beautiful, it is way more visually pleasing than the last, and the white lines make it even more visually pleasing to. Only thing I don’t like it the lack of boots
Yeah I think it's a better use of the white than the first game but the lack of red on the lower half is funny looking.

Personally I actually like the white borders on Peters new advanced suit. It feels more natural having them because it makes it feel more connected to the other white portions. I just hope they have not only all the suits from the first game but that advanced suit as well but with the coloring of the new suit.
Actually I'm pretty sure that's just the lighting.
Or an alternative color pallette.
Earlier on the same trailer you can see peter with black outlines.

I agree about the bottom half of the new advanced suit being too barren, but overall I think it's pretty good tbh

The new advanced suit is way better than the old one cause it looks way sleeker. The white outlines will something we will all grow to get used to and yea maybe the lack of red is a small issue. At the very least they could just re-do the feet to be like red shoes with white soles
Also I think peter is squinting in that shot so the lenses are probably less chunky

Just so no one gets disappointed when the game comes out the devs have said it is not coop and they never intended for it to be coop I know that was only briefly mentioned in the video but I gotta clear it up tho I suppose the device could be lying and it's gonna be a surprise but I wouldn't get my hopes up

The New Advance suit is fine I don’t know what your talking about.
In my opinion it looks slicker and smoother which makes it better than the original design we got and it’s fine that they remove the red parts on his legs since we do see him without it all the time in comics, movies, games, and series so I don’t see the problem about it.
I also don’t see why it’s a problem when they add white lines in his suit, I do love of how it connects to the Spider-Man logo and it fits.
(Also this is a message for your friend here, there’s no Co-op.. so yeah…. Hope you guys have fun!!)

He never said it wasn't good he just said there's things he doesn't like. He was talking mostly about the color imbalance which is a valid criticism. The suit's colors are imbalances which makes it slightly more harsh on the eyes even if the actual colors were corrected. You guys are acting like he said it was the worst thing ever but he was just speaking facts
i like the fact that most of peters suits have an armory theme to them, it makes it feel like its apart of the 1048 universe.

Nah, love the new advanced suit in comparison to the old one. The white trim looks fantastic in my opinion, and if they’re going to have white be a major part of their design, I want it to be that present on the suit.
I think the 10 original suits in the deluxe edition were all confirmed as fan made by some artists insomniac picked out

I love tre's section sm. As a black person he gets the issues I've had with miles for so long! And also the Totally Spider Man section was so good love the editing style, his room, like tre plz make your own channel or kai have him do more sections!!!
Also I feel miles va went a wee bit deeper and not as nasally but still a bit droining but i like it a bit more but still doesn't fit this miles 100%

i bet this game is gonna have the sickest chase segment between miles and peter, but i'm hoping we get to see a horror inspired segment where either a wounded (but still mobile) peter or miles has to actually survive being chased by venom

2:45 the suit has been the same since the first reveal trailer, the trim ISNT white or carbon fiber like the spider logo, ITS METALLIC if you look closely at the first reveal trailer the close ups shot of the spider chest symbols you can CLEARLY see the piping on the suit is a metallic material that is reflecting light, in the daytime it will "look white" but in the dark will look dark with the absense of light but its STAYED THE SAME, the first trailer was like 30 seconds long and completely set at night

I hate to break it to TSM, but the game isn’t co-op.. it’s still just single player but you can switch between Peter and Miles
I honestly don’t hate Harry as Venom and I’m curious to see how they handle it. The version of Eddie in the ultimate comics was always basically a discount Harry to me anyway so I think it can work, and some scenes from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon actually work for me

The suit never had black or white lining, the lining is metallic, it always just reflected the color of the environment, if you want the “black” lining back just play at night time.

The white outlines of the new Peter suit it's probably more sort of a lighting glitch than other thing, is only a dumb decision to change the outline colors for no reason, and obviously the game isn't finished so maybe in launch they will look black or grey again.

I forgot where I saw this but somewhere Insominiac confirmed that the white lines are actually metallic and are supposed to be black it was just a mistake. But seriously who cares what color the outlines are, you’re still gonna play the game.
One thing about the advanced suit 2.0 If they took inspiration from literally any suit I would want them to kinda not really copy the legs on the Sensational Spidey costume. I just want the legs to be filled in a bit more with red

A. I miss some of the first version’s quirks. Believe it or not, I do like the idea of the spider logo going into the blue section, the main reason being that it makes the back logo, which goes onto the blue AND red section, does the same thing. On the new one it feels inconsistent to me. But more than that, I ESPECIALLY miss the thigh panels. He looks super naked now.

If I had a nickel for everytime a part-Hespanic nerd became Spider-Man after Peter Parker and wore a red and black color scheme with red stripes going down the arms, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it is weird that it happened twice.
(For thoss unaware, Miguel originally had black and red, but the black was highlighted in blue similar to the Steve Ditko suit, classic Symbiote suit, etc. Later itterations made the suit actually be blue.)

I agree with the problem with the legs. There's not enough red breaking uo the blue and he looks like he's wearing yoga pants.
Other than the colors, I like the old advance suit more.
The gauntlet on the new on, the white spider logo's legs being OUTSIDE of the red was always something I liked.
And I also think the white spider in the OG Advanced Suit looked more like a separate material to the rest of the suit compared to the new one.

I see your points on the new Advanced Suit. But I think i'm still going to like it. I like the more roundness of the head, the belt looks sick as fuck, the colors (yeah, black lining looks a bit better but the white still looks decent imo) look SO much better than the last suit. The only problem I have with it is, like you said, there's a lack of red In the bottom half of the suit. On Miles, yeah the suit looks dope. Favorite parts about it are the new hand platings and details. definitely one of the best takes on his suit. Loving his new haircut too. (and for pete's face I do not care.)
i like miles new suit and design and peter's suit i actually liked but i felt like something off and didnt know it was the black lances changing to white and his face i think insomniac will fix that and it will look more good

Picked up a ps5 about a month ago, been doing all the remastered trophies for miles and peter and only have 2 trophies left for NG+. If u just wanna catch up on story u could get through both in about week or so if ur able to play after work/school. Helps that i platted ps4 already but still, full time auto tech teacher for reference
