This video has a different vibe from my other ones... It's kinda reminiscent of my very first ones, with the whole real time thing? It's not completely real time, because I edited it in order to make it less boring to watch hehe But still! Hope you like it!

I love this type of video format!! As you said, it's like having a friend drawing in the background to keep me accountable with my own work. Personally, I really enjoy subtitles over voiceovers, I can watch more closely and read the subtitles at the beginning while paying attention to the sketch, and then I get to my own work once they end. It also makes it more rewatchable since when watching again there's no audio and I can just peek up whenever. I would love to see more chill videos like this! (and congrats on laser eyes!)
The silence is very relaxing and quite refreshing 🎉❤

OMG THE WAY I STARTED TO GIGGLING WHEN I SAW A NOTIFICATION FROM U i love the experimenting with the ambient sound imo i love hearing the pencil make on the paper and the dragon furit slicing but i think ur usually jazzy music but on a low volume would do wonder with thess kind of painting process video!!!

I personally prefer art videos with voice over and some chill music with talk breaks in between cuz I wanna hear someone talk without having to focus on reading something but these are also very chill I gotta say

I do have to say, the white text on the white paper and the white table is very hard to read (at least for me). maybe you could choose a different font color that is more visible in regards to the background color in the next video, because I like to hear/read your thought process and your explanaitions and missing parts from the beginning is a bummer
Also, very impressive how much color is in the juice of the fruit and even more impressive how much detail and different shades you were able to create. How did you like the Hahnemühle bamboo paper? The also have agave watercolorpaper and hemp sketch paper that is definetly different that regular paper and a bit tricky to use, but fun in it's own right.
I actually really liked the lack of music. It helped me focus on your technique more. Congrats on the lasik too, I'm sure it was very freeing for you.
Did you really use the juice from the dragon fruit? Or did you color match with usual watercolor? Either way this is a wonderful painting!
i love having your videos in the background while i work and draw, i will say the subtitle format does make that more difficult tho, i have to keep looking. up to see what you're saying. still a lovely video nonetheless
I generally like when there's some kind if talking in a draw with me video because it makes me feel like im still paying attention enough when im doing something else in parralel... also because im lonely though ^^;
But its fine you dont have to ! Your art is enjoyable to witness any which way.
Side note but that multicolored pencil is awesome ! I want one ! What colors does it have in it ?

Dragon fruit is expensive where I live so you painting with it immediately made me think you must be rich to just waste eating such a delicious fruit.

I like the that's there's no music. Don't get me wrong I love background music but it also makes it hard for me to actually focus on your art. Cuz most people will just listen to the music and not even look at the process.

This was great!!! I overall love the quieter videos w text and the white wasn’t hard to read at all. This style was so cool, I’m going to attempt my own piece soon after finals haha :)
