Brother a 7 are you kidding me? I hate the incandescent bulbs but the Ultra is the Ultimate touring bike. I've spent probably $8 grand converting my Street Glide into an Ultra Limited. All I lack is color matched lowers. Mine is the 107 and It isnt a power monster but it is a badass bike and I can crush miles on it.
I think this bike is the easiest riding bike I have had. Sucks having to upgrade. Especially since the Indian version comes from the factory at a much cheaper price. Comes with basically a stage 2 engine, and stereo. Indian is better per price.
I certainly agree with the "come on Harley WHY the incandesents". Before I rode my new 2021 Ultra Limited out the door I trashed them for the LED's. I also added the heel shifter immediatley. But we know why, it's about $400 to do those upgrades if you include labor. They make more $$$. I have owned the 88, 96, 103, 107 and 114ci on the touring bike frame. The 114ci is by far superior to them all. The 114ci has never been lacking. The 103ci prior to the 103 HO was an absolute dog. I like the center fuel fill. You are less likely to spill on the tank due to the overflow drain it has. I'm about 6' 4" and have riden the 114ci limited from the West Coast to Missouri and have been very comfortable with no modifications for my height.

I got my new 2022 Limited Ultra. Black on black, beautiful motorcycle. I wad disappointed in what was not standard. Most what I did not get was standard in the 2007 Ultra. No heel shifter, and no cb, it was nice to have when group riding. There was no soft bags, no tool kit. The cost of the Whim device. I bought the second set of com for the wife. No locking fuel cover. Only one fob, I had the dealer give me a second one.
That’s because idiots were squealing out that Harley Davidson cost too much. They don’t cost too much but dummies were saying it as a protest against The America Way
The ultra limited is a 10 to some of the people and a 5 to others. I have a ultra with the 103ci and it's more than enough for what its designed to do. Ride safe
Many LED bulbs have a shortened life when blinking is involved. I assume that’s why Harley put incandescents where blinking happens.
A black on black one of these with a 131 and a road glide limited with a 131 in the same fashion are my dream bikes.
I bought the first year Ultra Limited in '17 with the two tone custom color. As you know, the 114 wasn't even available on it yet. I added CFS slip ons with the SE Wedge air cleaner, a tuner and had it dynoed. It gained 6 HP and 9 Ft lbs of torque. Nothing impressive but it made an acceptable difference in sound, roll on throttle and drive-ability. I'm not tryin' to win any races, so I'm very happy with it. I'm only 5'6" so the seat, floorboards, brake pedal & bars fit me perfect from the factory. It does set up a bit high but my 30" inseam is sufficient to flat foot it with proper boots. I also prefer the hydraulic clutch that doesn't require adjustment. Mine still came with the heel shifter which I think should never have been dropped on touring bikes. Also they provided all the leather carrying bags for the saddle bags and trunk then too. As far as wired com systems goes, I ride alone and don't have any family or friends that ever call me, so I could care less. In fact when I'm riding that would be the reason to not want be bothered anyway! LoL So what I'm tryin' to say here is that the antiquated factory version of this bike from six years ago fits the bill perfectly for me with more extras but without paying the exorbitant prices the MoCo is charging these days. I've got right at $35K invested in mine with the adjustable rider back rest, highway pegs, chrome extras and a few other creature comforts. Good luck getting out the door with this bike before accessories for that in 2022! The 25 watt per channel Boom Box is "upgraded" (so to speak), the oil pumps have been refined and you get night lights for the bags, that's about it.

I rode an ultra limited for 4 years. Test rode the roadglide limited and ended up switching over. But I'm only 5'8 and the ultra could feel tight compared to the glide. Love the roomy feel of the glide, plus it handles great. 22 roadglide limited.

I have a street glide don't notice any effect from the faring on the handlebars not an issue.
I believe they are shortening the the driver floor boards because the old ones suck when you have a passenger. Calves always hit the passenger pegs

From an Owner 7 out of 10 Cmon! Harley's are built to upgrade love it or hate it but not required! Stock motor workable but simple performance upgrades wakes the big V-Twin. Ride quality & comfort is very good also upgradable! Looks 10+! Tronics its a Harley right its always a love-hate relationship! Would I buy again with current offerings...YES! Whats in your garage fellow Bikers? HDOG
I think the wired headset is to give people a guaranteed trouble free experience because I’m sure MOCO doesn’t want to lose customers so it’s like a redundant thing. Or a back up.
Being a former streetglide owner that's a beauty but I totally agree with the 7 out of 10. Especially what indian is putting on stock bikes

I upgraded from the 2018 Ultra to the 2022 Ultra, nothing wrong with it. Ride what you like and like what you ride my brothers and sisters........
So everything you said on the ultra is completely accurate minus one thing. The lowers do not have storage in that little cut out area. The area has been taken up by the cooling system. The radiators and fans are in the lowers. The factory seat is really tall. I'm 5'7 and had gotten the regular ultra limited not the low. However I did get the ultra low limited seat for it. Was able to pull a swap with the dealer and got it for free. The bars do give some input when riding However not as much as older sg's or eg's used to was pretty surprised by that tool but I love mine still want a rg but really happy about having this bike and my wife is more happy that we have it being as she's more comfortable compared to my old sport glide. The closeness to the fairing was DEFINITELY something to get a little used to. The bike does need a cam though when going 2 up. Great content man thanks

I've got a 2016 CVO Breakout and an 2018 CVO Street Glide, and both are right around 20K miles. Dealers are paying up for used bikes, and I was thinking about trading them both in for one of these and some cash in my pocket. Not sure if that's a good trade or not. The CVO's are pretty nice, but I like this bike. Only reason I have two CVO's is because when I went to get the SG the dealer wasn't going to give me a good trade on my Breakout. They are paying much more now for used bikes. I can easily get three grand more than they offered me four years ago.

Turned my 2019 Street Glide into basically an Ultra Limited. I got the 8.5 in Klockworkz windshield based on your recommendation and Love it. I bought a color matched tour pack ($3000.00 from Harley) all I lack is the lowers and I have the 107 Milwaukee 8. Also have the sundowner touring seat and the rider back rest and a stage 1 tune. I have converted all the lights to LED as I also hate the incandescent bulbs on my 30k bike.I think all I have left to do is upgrade the stereo so it's louder so my wife can hear Iron Maiden better.Much love to ya Battle thanks for the honest reviews and content. BTW the first thing I did on my Street Glide was remove the heel shifter.

@@DeterminedVeteran My brother always gives me crap for taking it off but I started out road racing and riding motocross and the heel shifter just feels weird to me. I love moving my feet around on the boards for leverage and the heel shifter just gets in the way.

Hated the heal shifter! Always in my way lol I would think In the next year or so they might finally be coming with led turn signals.. especially considering that Harley just released their own p/a led turn signals not too long ago! 7/10.. but I’d give it a 8.5 looks pretty damn good for a pappy bike!

The Only part of this bike that I have a problem with is that you cant put a factory detachable tour pack kit . Just found it out from Harley that they stopped selling the mount for this model year. Thoughts ????

love the bike ..hate the luggage rack..it ruins the sleekness of the bike and would be a deal breaker for me..it should be optional ..plus harley could save money like they did on bulbs and not painting the shift lever black ..
Yup. I had to install the extended brake pedal from Kuryakyn whole lot of difference love it! Then I put on extended floorboards brackets from Kuryakyn to push the floorboards out to the side a 1 1/4 then lol.... I put on a extended Kuryakyn heel shifter and it's a 1 3/4 longer and I have it to where it's straight pretty much flat and the toe shifter is the same way. AND.... I have a extended reach seat from Saddlemen and Road Sofa seat. Yeah I'm 6'4 😁😎🤟

Best bike out there I got the RGlide limited, stgII, no one can't stand on my side on the ride No one, did led, visor Kwerks, that it, heated grips from factory, i bet anyone you test ride it you buy it.

No heal shifter is ridiculous. It's safer and easier. Same way I feel about going back to a cable clutch. Dumb minimal costs savings. That said, it just makes more sense to just get CVO's. Limit the crap you have to do that should be done from the factory. 6.5/10.

I would say it wouldn’t be bad … although I do thing the 12v plug in feature is a great part of the ultra limited’s package

Yes there is HD sells a kit for storage in those and you can add speakers to it as well …

I did a 3300km tour last week to Cannes (FR) vv. On my Ultra 114 2021! 5 days rain! The rain gets over all the instruments so you see nothing of it anymore. 3 times “flattire” alarm. Stopping in pooring rain at the safety lane! No flat tire. After the first night the next morning the engine doesnt run!!! 4x tried…..and after waiting 30min it suddenly comes to life! What a drama! 💩it sucks! I traded it in last Saturday for a Road King Special 2023….in all black👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
I went with a Willie G theme on my bike so Skulls are everywhere on my Scooter.
My old Electra Glide was Willie G back when Chrome was cool 😏

Generous rating. I completely overlooked the heel shifter on my 22 RGS. When I left Harley on my new bike and I went to shift into 2nd and wiffed, I was so BS. I was like are you kidding me no heel shifter.
