- Beci Dale breaking the previous Guiness World Record for 1minute speed skipping on "Guiness World Records Smashed". The previous record was 254 jumps in one minute and Beci broke the record by 78 jumps giving her the new world record of 332 jumps in 1minute.
You could tell the boxers knees were going up way higher than hers. The boxer has been doing them for max fitness, whereas the girl has been training for max speed.
Duh....this contest was about speed DB....any other simple thoughts.....

"3 hours, to your 20 minutes" please have this girl come train at a boxing gym. How fucking disrespectful to the sport. Jumping rope is a warm-up for boxers, not a workout. Compared to the shit we do at my boxing gym for 3 hours, 3 hours of jump rope with the standard 3 minute round 30 second rest bell would be nothing. We have to do footwork and shadowboxing right after jumping rope, then we go running atleast 2-3 miles, then we come back and do high intensity intervals on the bag, and if it's your day to spar then you have to get in the ring and fight after all of this. Boxing is a complex sport of pain, endurance, speed, mental analysis, all taking years of commitment. Jumping rope is just that, jumping rope, one of hundreds of methods boxers can use to prepare for a fight.

but dude, i actually spent like 5 minutes in search for this albert guy but all i can see is some books. Where is the video? Until i watch it with my own eyes, i won't EVER believe that 128 skips in 10 seconds is possible. That's not even human, that is just physically impossible to do
Guinness Book of records edition 1985, you can find on Ebay for £2 (there is a Turtle and a clock photo) go to "Human Achievements" Section. It hasn't computers that time, there were papers, and hundreds of witness, crucial required documents to publish a record on GBR, by personal experience. You can find papers on Wakefield Birmingham Gymnasium and Wakefield's Library. The documentation required to publish records on GWR is insane. No way to turn around on anything published on it. Rayner's skipping rope middle point has travelled to 200 miles per hour, a frequency only possible after 40+ years of practicing. Jumping on air high enough, many can do it, the problem is the wrist technique. He was 58. Go read, man, your disbelief does not make any difference to me. I just can not accept these liars aiming for easy self promotion, by saying in public these bullshit. This laughable "Beci" or whatever called, maybe is OK for some childhood parties. She, alongside to this tv show, deserves all to pay a big fine for this farce. If I trained 3 months seriously, I'm sure I can beat her myself. I doubt this girl can execute triple turn. there were plenty of video cameras in 1985. If they didn't record that they are total idiots and it's their problem, not mine. I still don't believe it, sorry. This girl practices her exercises a LOT. No way in hell you can beat her in 3 months. Stop thinking big of yourself. Secondly, there is nothing to read pretty much. The info i found on google was basically ZERO. Thirdly, these kind of records are not popular therefore you dont have that many contenders. That girl is like one of the only people who applied to show herself doing jumping rope because nobody else did. Even the video itself is like zero in views unlike other GWR videos.
p.s. this is fully acceptable because this is the ONLY GWR record that was recorded with an HD video recorder. None of the 2 guys you mentioned did their records in front of a video camera therefore their records are not 100% authentic. There are only some pictures, and those pictures were taken NOT while they were doing their records. It's just a guy with a skipping rope and some bullshit like it's a record holder. Who is gonna believe that nowadays without an actual VIDEO proof? I am not even trying to be an asshole at this point but this is why those old records are simply invalid. All those documents you are talking about might have been falsified
