Then I suggest u watch Duran or Leneord...thumbs down for this jumper is very odd indeed.... Outstanding abilities but you don't heavyweights over 240lbs doing these moves. Simple because it's made for lightweight/middleweights...if she were 165 lbs, forget about half of those incredible moves...

Just regular jump rope is an extreme cardio workout so to do it at this level requires some serious physical conditioning. She is crazy good and yet such a humble human being. Great video!

@@firstbornjordan Hi! Thanks for your reply. I am a dancer and an instructor so I just adore most types of dance. I was joking about how I see dance moves in all types of work. It's actually true. You see, when a cashier grabs an item to scan or check out, they do it in a rhythm. Pick up, scan, place in a bag, take the money, repeat...almost like CHOREOGRAPHY. Ha! It's like someone mopping a floor with a beat or rhythm. It seems like if you played music, most people and jobs they do, look like a dance. I love to watch DANCE and be a part of it.
I hope you understand what I meant now, haha. I see most movement as dance, in my mind. The WORLD is always dancing.

@@lynnecarnivale5085 Thanks for the reply. I get what you mean. I was choreographing fight moves in my head when I was a shy, peaceful, naive teenager. I was fascinated with the poetry of motion, attack and counter attack. Thinking that Martial Arts was my thing, I embarked on four different styles, but I found it all very easy to master and I was not interested in recognition. I love cardio fitness, so I just settled with long distance running. While attending University later, I did a dance and drama unit. Short story, I created an original choreographed dance piece with 220 dance steps for a project. I was later offered a position as an Assistant Director to a dance company. Of course I declined. I knew nothing about dance. Since then, I have coached athletics, fascinated with bio-mechanics and personally experimented in fitness regimes. Have done and still do. However, I keep coming back to the love of dance in all forms and motion. I'm fascinated with time and I am able to replicate and master movements, to the surprise of former martial arts instructors. When I was in primary school I was prohibited from participating in gymnastics because I was convalescing from a serious leg injury. I observed all the activities during a term. When my leg was healed, I pestered the teacher to allow me to demonstrate the activities listed on a card which each student had to complete during the term. I completed every activity on the card without ever practicing any of the activities. It's a knack and a gift I suppose but I was slow in recognising it. That's ok, because tonight after my skipping routine tonight, I went into free form shuffle dancing because after this video, I was led to it, only to realise that was how I danced in the 80's and 90's but I never encountered anyone else dancing like that. Never too old to try new things. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." Peace and joy to you also.

It’s jealousy. People think it’s easy to be a champion but she literally just said it takes a lot of practice to do the tricks. Of course you do need to practice first. You can’t just come out of no where and start being perfect. You have to practice, make a lot of mistakes to see what needs to be right. When people are succeeding, others are jealous. While you were busy on your phone, or partying, those people who you’re jealous of, were practicing and being perfect, but the sad truth is that no one sees those struggles. They only see how successful they are and they become jealous. For the haters: stop being jealous or hateful. She earned it cause she sacrificed her time to practice which the haters don’t even try to do lol.

I just started jump roping at 60 and after watching her, I realize I need to get a bit better. 👍
It's quite addictive. During recent lockdown, started incorporating other jumps besides regular bounce. Got carried away and now need to recuperate after developing pains on left ankle and right calf.
A word of advice, add some stretching before and after jump rope and include rest days.

Susanna Linshalm real nice of you to follow up . It’s going good, I’m working out 6 days a week but instead of all weight training, I’ve incorporated a flexibility routine in as well as the skipping. The cardio and balance gained from skipping is incredible. When I watch this girl skip, she seems as fluid as water. What a inspiration!. I see in your user I.d. Supertramp. I love that band. They were the first concert I ever went to in Toronto. Front row seats at Maple Leaf Gardens many years ago.

On my telephone watching CZcams, I can adjust the 'playback' speed.
.
For example:
* I see a video runs over six minutes, I usually set it to 1.25x 'playback'.
* any video longer than ten minutes, I watch at 1.5x... with several skip-aheads.
* I can also adjust the 'playback' speed to slower than 'normal'.
.
On my CZcams screen, I have a tiny star in the upper right.
A click opens a menu.
