That was hard watching Zingano. I remember going into that I was like oh yeah all she has to do is make sure she keeps enough distance. When she immediately charged I knew it was over
Yep, i thought this would be the one....remember being so baffled by that.
As it was, Cat Zingano had just suffered some serious head trauma in her fight with Amanda Nunes just 5 months prior. She was really suffering for the first few months and when she got back in the gym, she had brain fog and couldn't judge distance well or anticipate her opponent's movements like she used to. So she thought her best plan was to rush in close where that wouldn't be a problem but of course Rousey just took another arm for her collection. Still feel bad for her because she was one of the greatest fighters in the UFC's early women's roster but just endured probably the worst time of her life in those few years.
@@desyncer yeah I forgot about that really .. or just kinda didn't put the two together. But she was the one I was rooting for the most out of the women, it sucked to see her go of never get to where she should've been.
