    I have studied all the greatest newer and a little older tires for my 21 gsxr600. After careful consideration for the money and performance these tires are what I went with. Should be here in days, can’t wait

    I've clicked the thumb up as soon as I saw the beard. Tire info was ok too. :)

      Janis Strelkovs How do you wheelie like that clutch up or power wheelie. What gear ?

    • @JanisStrelkovs
      @JanisStrelkovs  Před 6 lety +1

      This one was literally off the power in 2nd gear. Just cover the back brake and whack the throttle on.

    so i have a 2006 kawa zx14 and i have 190/50/17 metzler m3 but damn they didnt hold up at best 2500miles but my issue was middle worn the fastest becouse of how i started off on the bike but now that i lay over on curves just when i started to feel comfortable my tire is worn out. would you think for this heavy bike m7rr would do good and last longer?

    @gorkace Před 5 lety

    What tire pressures did you use and perform best on the street? (Same bike and coming from s21's, the m7's gave me a cople of scary moments)

    Good video, I am on my third set of M7RR's as well. I talked a buddy into buying them for his MT-07 and he feels that they are unstable. I totally disagree with that statement and feel the exact way you do about these tires. This video let me know he doesn't know what he's talking about lol. Ive never heard any negative feedback about them.

    Great vid mate! Nice logo and the heroic music suits you sir.... but....the words "I ride a little bit like a prick" out of your own mouth was sweeeet music!!!! 😂

    Were the tyres given for free from a retailer, a friend or direct from Metzler?

  • @wrkings
    @wrkings Před 6 lety +2

    What's best way to scrub these in? Thx

    • @JanisStrelkovs
      @JanisStrelkovs  Před 6 lety +1

      Just take it easy for for the first 80 odd miles mate and you’ll be golden after that. Just push lean angles gradually

    4500 miles and you are complaining they don't last long? I'm lucky if I get 1500 out of a rear on a RSV tuono

    What is the total km on your bike?

    • @JanisStrelkovs
      @JanisStrelkovs  Před 6 lety

      Just shy of 24k miles so nearly 39k kilometres

    • @t.v.6503
      @t.v.6503 Před 6 lety

      Wow! Any major issues with the bike Till now? Mine got 2000km and ime intrested in the reability! Do you got any ecu setup for the akra?

    • @JanisStrelkovs
      @JanisStrelkovs  Před 6 lety

      No major problems at all. Just your usual minor stuff like issues with the finish etc and a bit of rust. Clutch is kancked but that’s down to my riding. I have no remap on the akra it got dynod at 71bhp with no baffle which is very good for bone standard engine.

    • @t.v.6503
      @t.v.6503 Před 6 lety

      Janis Strelkovs No problems with fueling, without baffle? Thats cool News i want to Buj a roadsitalia power, with baffle and kat, but i Was worried about remapingt dynosetup etc .

    Plenty of meat left on the sides 😏

  • @davmanlop333

    Very big chicken stripe. You don’t lean much 😂

    • @JanisStrelkovs
      @JanisStrelkovs  Před 6 lety +13

      I have nothing to prove when ridding on the road; as well as chicken strips tell you nothing at all on the skill of a rider. 🤦🏼‍♂️

    • @davmanlop333
      @davmanlop333 Před 6 lety

      Janis Strelkovs.. just saying you can’t really review a tire if you not gonna lean the bike

    • @JanisStrelkovs
      @JanisStrelkovs  Před 6 lety +5

      Trust me I can lean it when I need to. Is the footage of having my knee on the deck with the tyre on the edge isn’t enough for you? Plus I’ve covered well over 16k miles on the m7rr’s just saying that gives me more then enough ground to review one.

    • @davmanlop333
      @davmanlop333 Před 6 lety

      Janis Strelkovs okay cool 👍 maybe the tire on the video you didn’t lean them cause they have a massive chicken stripe. But cool video

    • @JanisStrelkovs
      @JanisStrelkovs  Před 6 lety +1

      They were fitted at the beginning of winter that set. Thanks
