This trial NEEDED cameras! NO ONE would believe what went on without our being able to see AHâs nonsense!
So so true
100% wish the appeal would be
Domestic violence issues, remember Vasquez told Gayle this case was about ABUSE and ME TOO...those issues are not televised. But it really worked out for team JD starting with BIG TWITTER SMEAR on social media.
Ben Chewâs role in court seemed to be keeping Mr Depp grounded and calm. They all did a great job.
Ben Chew is the ultimate mentor. I love his humility and humour. You can see how much heâs helped nourish Camilleâs career, because he believed in her and gave her opportunity to flourish. What an amazing example.
Like Andrea Burkhart said. Cameras in the court room are for transparency reasons. Public has the right and ability to evaluate the fairness of the process.
Absolutely right.
Andrea Burkett also says more men than women are victims of domestic violence. I don't think the hosp or PDs agree. She and one of her "self taught experts" said, "Women often cause men to be violent."
@@AdaptWellNutritionandFitness The issue is NOT whether it helped you. it's whether or NOT the defendant got a fair trial. Do you know who ADAM WALDMAN is? Social media eviscerated Amber Heard starting with WALDMAN'S work on Twitter and continuing with TikTok and You Tube Depp Supporters thanks to "cameras in the court room" which Depp team asked for. Even the sleeping jury recognized global humiliation and awarded Heard 2 Mill. It's really not likely that the average person understood everything....from watching some biased commentators on this platform Lawtubers made a lot of money following Waldman's
lead and they arent viewed as impartial. The only one I know of who wpukd trash her is Robert Gouveia, and hes in a different class. Depp's side had orchestrated what he called "global humiliation" for Amber on social media and it was unprecedented
@@bordendonna And there's reason to doubt this why? Your doubt is exactly why women like Amber Heard can cry wolf, be the abuser and get away with it.
@@AntiSociableWallflower stop impersonating God. Check injuries caused by domestic abuse.....deaths. See who the victims are . And then look at the number of inmates who were under the influence of alcohol and/or other drugs when they committed a violent crime. Monster in a blackout like the pirate admits.
Ben Chew seems like the nicest man. Camille seems so kind. They just seem to be the best kind of humans.
I'm glad they and their client found each other
I honestly adore him, just plain honest, decent & so cute! I just always think of Gummy bears & that adorable & funny moment between him & JDđđŽââ ïžalso the Alpaca he had in his pocket đ„°Camille is just the same too, I have just so much respect & admiration for the whole team, believing is just so important to me, I could not be a defender of the guilty nor the prosecutor of the innocent, it just doesnât sit right with me, mind you I couldnât be either pmsl I havenât got the brains for that đ
@@NanaPsychoville I think of that moment often too and the one when he grabbed a candy and was enjoying it so much he just shimmied back and forth a little like an excited kidâs first taste of sweets. It was just so dang cute. I always say heâs like Mr. Rogers as an atty.
@@TwistOfFate444 âTwas a Beautiful moment & if comes up on those little clips streams I just let it loop đŽââ ïžđ„°đ„°

Ben Chew is truly humble and so genuinely kind! He reminds me so much of my dad-minus the famous lawyer aspect-and my dad is hands down the best man I've ever known. đ Coming from me, that's the biggest compliment I could ever give someone. Ms. Vasquez is a total rock star-without all the pride and vanity that usually accompanies being a total rock star. What a great team of attorneys!
Camille is such a graceful yet tough as nails. I adore her
Ben is a stellar attorney and human. He lets his team shine and they SHINE!!!!
I felt it was team work at its best. Each lawyer had hus ir ger unique style and played to their strengths . Ut showed wise management on the part if nr Chew
Since this case involved celebrities I truly believe we heard and saw the truth being played out becausenof the cameras. If the cameras hadn't been there then the public would've been fed more lies. All credit to JD's legal team, totally refreshing- well done all.
I đŻ agree ! JD needed the world to see the truth more then anything else. â€ïž JDâs team, much respect!
I wouldn't of said fed lies, just not the whole truth. Which never tells you the context.
We had context because we saw and heard AH testimony. I particularly wasn't interested in how anyone wants to tell their stories on the stand, only pick apart by their words, in contrast to the evidence available
AH, was clearly exaggerated, untruthful and slanderous.
Camille's silence and smirk when he asked if they learned anything from opposing counsel says it all đ€Ł
Omg. Camilleâs advice to women was spot on. To be the most prepared person in the room & be confident to respond. Iâm a female engineer & that is SO freaking true!!! Spot on.
_"You need to learn the value of the unexpressed thought"._ ( Ben Chew's father - _BRILLANCE!_ )
A lot of jerks out there need to learn this too.
The guy interviewing both lawyers is really good. Great questions and attitude ... Also smart and decent. Pleasure to listen to this interview.
Love cameras in courtroom. Also, especially in this case, weâd never know the true story of this trial since the media painted a very different story.
Love Ben and Camilla so much, and I say yes to cameras in the court room. They are the most real and kind people ever!
I think the cameras in the courtroom are good because it helps keep everyone as honest as possible. I am a retired Civil Division Deputy Director from D.C., and very familiar with Civil cases and the courts in the DMV. This case had more drama and excitement than most.
Cases involving DV, allegations of sexual assault and intimate partner details are not televised. But it really worked for these lawyers, like the Twitter thing orchestrated by Waldman. Extremely UNETHICAL, ILLEGAL AND SLEAZY.
Self congratulatory back slapping. I can't wait to see how they are portrayed in the books / movies. Ask them about Waldman being kicked off the case. SOCIAL MEDIA....WALDMAN. What hypocrisy.
#AmberHearddeservesanapology #DarvoDepp. VASQUEZ told the jury 'there were no medical records..." but there were. PEOPLE Call that LYING. NO ONE REALLY ADMIRES THAT....once they realize what happened. Hollywood knows what happened. That knowledge is spreading thanks to Andrea Burkett who actually says on her channel that women often cause men to be violent. The intellectual pinnacle of DV is not on youtube. These guys only care about winning .....be any means. #ibelieveAmberHeard.
@@bordendonna are you really that stupid how can it be illegal they are lawyers ffs i think they know the law way more than you do !!!obviously your a Turd simp đ€Łđ€Ł
@@bordendonna Fortunately there was absolutely no evidence of sexual assault, and the only evidence of intimate partner violence showed Heard to be the abuser.
The cameras allowed the world to see Heards false evidence and self contradictory lies for themselves.
Curious that you try to gloss over Heard lying and lying and lying in court.
It is so good to hear Ban and Camille express the virtue with which they practice their craft. A good lesson for all of us as we travel through these crazy times.
The impact of JD's lead attorneys in making sure all members of the team would be respectful of the judge and the jury was evident. The respect of the team for the court system was very much appreciated especially in contrast to the AH "team". Well done!
No it actually changed my mind as I watch for myself. I did think Johnny was a monster, I knew nothing of AH but I sure do now and it shocked me that my mind could change like that but that was the benefit of watching myself. With your guidance it was such a great time and it was so thought provoking t the same time.
Thinking that Johnny was a monster just because one person claimed it to be so. SMH. The entire reason he went forward with this lawsuit.
@@jovicrazed a little unfair, no need to shame someone for having initially fallen for AH's outrageous BS - many, many, many people did. Not everybody knew as much about JD as his fans did before all this.
@@louleg23 Wouldnât call myself a fan. Like some of his movies; havenât seen most of them. My point was about the whole issue of blindly accepting allegations based on nothing more than one personâs word. Just like the recent âmetooâ situation with Chris Noth. Iâm not forming any judgement as I do not yet know any of the facts.
I also absolutely ADORE and respect so much that neither of them are boastful or even remotely trying to insinuate they themselves are the best or the "key" element to the victory; rather, they sincerely boost up all of the others on the team and make sure we know that without any of the integral parts each person played, it wouldn't have worked out as well. It is also so very evident that they whole heartedly believe and know JD is innocent of the vile acts he was accused of. They are both emotionally invested in his innocence with seeing amd knowing every single peice of evidence. Ben almost got choked up again when describing what JD went through.
I can't even say how much I appreciate Johnny and all of his legal team for showing me that justice can be had in court. As a female, DV survivor, I believed in Johnny. In the 80's I didn't get justice in court. DV shelters and help was just starting. In my 2nd court appearance for the Order of Protection, my ex-husband had an attorney and the judge wouldn't even let me get one. The case got sealed and I lost. I thank God for my attorney in the divorce. It may have taken 4yrs, but I never had to go to court or see my ex again. His attorney even called me to apologize for all that I went through. I think he felt guilty having taken him as a client.
I hope you are doing better! Sending light & love â€ïž
@@TheMrGoat799 It was a long time ago, but it took a long time to heal. I've been doing well for quite sometime now. The case just bought up alot of memories, and sadness for what Johnny had to endure!! Thank you so very much!!
Hi
I am not a DV survivor but reading about what you went through I think that if AH won, it would break my heart. She is a real joke and should never show her face again. She should be ashamed really. She should have been forced to listen to true DV survivors every single day for 5 years!!! I am glad you had a happy ending x
JD seems to often surround himself with great people. Ben and Camille not just brilliant professionals but genuinely lovely people.
Yes
These 2 lawyers are truly wonderful.
I actually would have liked to have seen more of Ben Chew during this trial.
I think Ben did most of his work on the Fridays that had no camera's. He seemed to argue the technical aspects of the trial.
TMZ.. Morgan Tremaine⊠put his butt on the line. Loved how he came back to Elaine about his 15 mins of fame. He explained the tip process to the publishing process and was a key point in the trial. TY for coming forward Morgan. Hope heâs doing ok. He got sick with COVID apparently.
The both of them are so likeable.. they never take credits without handing it over or sharing with the whole team.. And they are authentic, it all feels real, not fake..
It's really great that they won that case which at first seemed very unlikely because of the difficulty of defamation cases, the first ammendment, the fact that AH never mentioned his name and so on..
Since I'm not a lawyer and not even American your comments on this interview really help me a lot, Peter! As on your other vids..pks continue this great content!! đ
The very best/most important thing about cameras in the courtroom is being able to NOT rely on the media for coverage. I couldnât believe what the news reported! One even âreportedâ on Jason Momoaâs testimony!đ€Łđ€Ł.
I learned that trials are more than what we see. Thanks to you and others for teaching us more about the behind the presentation of evidence.
I truly honestly respect these beautiful, smart & humble lawyers đ„°đ„° Iâm so happy & thankful they represented a beautiful, humble & innocent Johnny đđ» â€ïž
I love how Ben, although her superior always puts his colleagues first. That he has that respect for them. How they both seem to love working with each other, very rare and important considering the time spent at work.
Ben is an incredible mentor aswell as a great representation of the company.
The trial being live for the world to see mainly stopped the media destorting the reality, which Depp had endured for 6 years.
This trial was LIKE a movie. Nobody could ever write a better script and it contained everything. Seen other trials and this was no way near it. Chew and Vasquez was from another world in that courtroom. Seen the full days of some of them several times and still do.
Movies will be made about this trial.
the bad guys were just SOOO bad, and the good guys, just doing their ethical honest jobs...just mind blowing how it played out... Like you said, just like a movie
I agree with the importance of being yourself and letting the strengths of individual personalities shine. Every member of JD team did that beautifully. For instance, I loved seeing Camille go for the jugular during cross, I loved Ben Chews humbleness & professionalism, and I loved Dennisons laid back very chill demeanor. They were all so different, but equally impressive and compelling.
These two are a class act. Loved them! Loved their optimism and that they 100% believed in and battled for Johnny. They and their firm are an inspiration for the profession.
Dennison crossing the crazy psychiatrist was a major highlight for me. Dennison chuckling at the podium throughout that cross was great.
@@jovicrazed , Dennison's seemingly clumsy and absentminded behavior, the way his questions came across as all over the place really disarmed people. He is what I call a Barracuda, behind a goofy appearance there's a deadly predator
@@jovicrazed Colombo
@@annedonnellan6876 , great comparison, exactly, Colombo was a perfect unheroic hero, the overlooked. I couldn't remember an example to clarify my opinion of Dennison, you've nailed it đ
This was the most fun live chat Iâve ever participated in. Whoever ends up making the movie of this case needs to listen to who we suggested for casting. And whoever suggested Jennifer Lawrence as Dr. Curry is spot on.
I can't wait to see who they cast in the movie. đ They have to do it justice!
Johnny has been filming an documentary of the whole process.
@@princesssofiyagm is that so?
@@princesssofiyagm says who? Havenât heard that but it sure would be interesting
Thanks for watching with us. Camille and Ben are fantastic humans and professionals and so humble. If I had my time again these two make me want to study law. Watching via CZcams and with actual legal commentators like you Peter, it was awesome and I hope they do more. I enjoyed learning the language, context, terms, I loved every minute of it, especially the comedy of the judge, Johnny, lawyers, witnesses it was the best!!
I'm a huge fan of Ben and Camille as a real power team.
This is the only second trial I have ever watched from beginning-to-end. The first was the Ahmaud Arbery case. Ms. Linda, the case prosecutor, she was a compelling master class to watch.
And, conversely, the hubris of the three defense teams were mind boggling. The defense teams missed the root facts of the case and charged ahead in all the glory of their arrogance and assuredness...all the while not taking into their strategy of the actual judge presiding over the case.
Superior Judge Timothy Walmsley was a first for me...a balanced, respectable, master class unto himself.
In this case, Judge Penny, I respect immensely. She was intelligent, steady... along with Johnny's entire defense team, the people they worked with, and called to the stand. And, again, the hubris of Amber's defense team, the people they worked with, and who they called to the stand.
I still don't understand how Elaine got so much so wrong after all her years of experience. Any insight about this?
Yes, she struggled a lot!
I love seeing the trial letting me know what all happened in what actually took place I'm glad it was televised he got to say his truth and the truth got out so I'm happy for him very much Happy
I felt it was the best Law and Order episode I ever saw. And now I hear the Law and Order are doing a similar storyline episode.
As Dr. Speigel says⊠Iâm judging your processing speed and I can say itâs not slow⊠Wayne Dennison giggles and kind of thanks the dr⊠I rolled laughing at that.
I tried watching the trial and was confused about how Johnny was responding. I stumbled onto to Spideyâs behavioral info that lead me to Legal Bytes where I began to understand what was happening. I saw you on LB and started following you. W/O the lawyer commentary Iâm not sure Iâd get as much out of the live feed. Thank you!
Cameras in court are helpful in my opinion. Seeing Ambers facial expression when she would swing around to the jury was quite telling.
Thanks for showing this interview. Love anything Ben & Camille. Their funniest moments in court comments are hilarious! Youâre appreciated so much! Youâre the bestest Peter! â€ïž
I worked in a law firm that was started in the 1930s and there was still an older legal secretary who carried her bosses coffee and tea on a tray. I was so happy to watch the firm grow from the old school, old boy type of firm to combining everyone's contributions. There were female partners, men and just overall diversity and was very happy being part of that firm. Didn't see their work in the court but saw all the hard work behind the scenes. Enjoyed it! Love watching and listening to all these experts as this is a very hard job!
I went somewhat recently for jury duty, but the case was plead out before anything happened. First time I was sorry not to have had a chance to serve, as I am now retired. This was prior to JD's trial, and since then I have really developed an interest in the process.
Really enjoyed this interview and think the world of Ben and Camille. They are consumate professionals who are genuine and kind people.
Love you and your content. â€ïž
Look into being a CASA/ GAL. Now that you are retired and seem to be interested in court proceedings.
You may have a lot to offer.
Just a thought. NATALIE
@@NatalieSkiRN can you explain CASA/GAL?
@@NatalieSkiRN nevermind, found out what the acronyms are, lol
I feel like it was MOST important for this trial to be televised or recorded live because of the media. If we went by media, Johnny was slapped with a defamation fine and Amber was punished for standing up for herself. But because I watched it, I know Amber was punished for lying (or giving the perception of lying) and Johnny seemed honest and straightforward. Iâve learned from this case alone how often mainstream media lies.
I watched the OJ trial as a child, but don't remember much in procedure, this trial definitely did a much better job of laying out how the law works in trial cases, once you insert CZcams lawyers, it definitely laid out things that most people didn't know bout trial and how most aspects work.
This trial was like the OJ trial in many ways. One of the distinguished lawtube followers even made an OJ joke about the sexual assault in this case....he said, "if the bottle fits" .....and the crowd just roared." You may not remember if you were a child during the OJ trial....."IF it doesn't fit you must acquit" about the planted glove. OJ had great lawyers and he wasn't a domestic abuser either. But funny thing happened, his violence struck again and then everybody just shut up.
No critique to Johnny's team. They all had so much class about them. Much critique to the other side. All the low blows they tried. I'm sure the Judge and the jury had much respect for Johnny's side. We all loved you Ben.
Best interview ever. All 3 actually enjoy the answers, meaning full confidence in their position.
GoodnessâŠ..Ben is such a cutie Iâd love to knowđ Camille is absolutely adorable and intelligentâŠ. So pretty too!
For me it felt like Camille was like a crescendo, Dennison was like a long and slow painful death lol and Ben was just relatable and a darling đ
I think Peter is definitely a Type AâŠ.he is very passionate about justice, the Law, and fighting for his clients, He appears very intelligent, quick thinking and reasoning and a â general good guy all around â.
Got to see some of the live, and catching up on replay...This is so interesting and informative and having your added thought also makes it relevant.....Both Ben and Camile were a wonderful match for Johnny Depp....He relaxed and related to them and they believed him đŻ which is so important and because of that they put in đŻ.....It will be a Trial to remember for sure ,with millions of people rooting for Johnny because we witnessed his continued abuse from Amber....Thankfully the Jury saw through her also...It does give you confidence in the Justice system....Thankyou and regards from Ireland đźđȘ
That's absolutely right

This was terrific! Two stellar human beings, really appreciate the insider info! I think Iâll watch it again!
Cameraâs in the court room most definitely showed the true story!
My favorite interview of them & really liked & appreciated Peterâs comments & clarifications along the way!
You guys were great I love you Camille and Ben you're awesome
To Camille, when you lead a life with character you are a great inspiration to young Men and Women of ALL backgrounds not just Latina women EVEN an old white man like myself. Thank you.
I thought that the Chew/Vasquez team, made it so much easier on the jury to understand. I found Amber's side (especially Elaine), to be very convoluted and much more complicated that it needed to be! When other's say, AH was outlawyered, that explains it perfectly! I just feel like JD's side really wanted the truth to come out. That's how I took it! I have been on juries 3 other times, and I watched it as if I were on the jury! The jury did the exact right thing and I really put myself in their shoes! Camille and Ben did a great job!!!! I also, very much appreciate how they treated Johnny and how serious they took it all! He was in very good hands! :)
Well done, greetings from Germany đ©đȘ Love Camille and Ben. Very good humans
Oh hell yes, I learned so much about how trials happen. One thing that was most enlightening is that 90% of the work is done pre trial and post.
These two are fantastic. I LOVED listening to this.
For me it was like watching a movie, but such a sad reality for Johnny Depp.
Missed the live so on replay thanks for sharing this. I love how much of a class act these two are. Not out there blaming and shaming just simply stating what they did and how they did it. A truly great team.
In hindsight ( 2 months after the infamous verdict) even though, I knew absolutely nothing of A.H. ,I was hanging on to the facts that 2 people were putting their laundry out for viewers... Had this trial been in a news thread or radio station announcement, it would have been insignificant. Sorta like a weather bulletin.. Not sure if it was C-19 or the current administration in Washington D.C., ....hearing about Johnny Depp life was like reading a biography. Not what a journalist captures.. Love this segment of Ben & Camille being interviewed .. Thank you ===LAWYER YOU KNOW=== Mr. Pete Tregos.
C-19? I havenât heard of that. I agree on all other accounts. It had to be hard for him to open up so much since heâs so private and an introvertâŠ. I have more respect for him now. It also shows how trump innocent he believed to be which spoke volumes. Iâd not heard of her and funny enough I remember watching Aquaman and the Mera character got on my nerves and rubbed me wrong. I had know idea she was married to JD! My gut was warnings me of her even in a different character! Lol After this trial though I absolutely detest her!! I wish MSM would be honest. UnfortunatelyâŠyou canât trust the MSM with anythingâŠ..too many narratives they want to push which ruin lives.
When Elaine was asked on a breakfast show whether she would have done anything differently - she avoided answering. Ben quite openly says that even in the position of winning - they would still learn and make changes next time. And there we have it.
What a lovely interview
Hey Peter and Peter's father!đ
You two men are amazing!! I love not only your commentary, but all of that invaluable knowledge I always gain.đ
Seeing the trial live and seeing the news on mainstream media about the trial made me come to the conclusion that there should be cameras in the courtroom.. so one can see and hear and and come to a conclusion for oneself.
Ben is the real deal a d a gentleman
As a former paralegal, I have to say that you are one of my three favorite lawtubers (along with Law & Lumber and Runkle). Found your channel through Pete's weekly analysis of the Holmes trial last year.
I was rear-ended by a semi going at full speed while stopped at a red light in Fort Meade, FL, in early 2019. As best as could be determined, the driver was on his cell and never tried to stop. He took out five vehicles at the light, another crossing the intersection, and the tractor on his rig. No deaths or extremely serious injuries that required immediate hospitalization, thank God. Not being from FL, I had a terrible time finding an attorney in WV who would work a case in FL. I feel like my lawyer eventually got a pretty decent settlement from the semi's insurance, but I wish I had known about your firm at the time.
All through the trial, I kept expecting Jack Nicholson to rush in, shouting "Truth? Truth? You can't handle the truth" :))))))))))
Mind you all through the Covid lockdowns, I kept wondering when Tom Cruise was going to 'Save the World'.
I think LA Law got us hooked on Court Drama! I learnt a LOT more work went into a trial!! Thank You for your videos. x
â€ïž Ben Chew đ
I could see from his demeanour in the trial that he is a very good egg, this interview absolutely confirms it
Johnny picked a lawyer just like himself with Benâ€ïžâŠ.. And AH picked a lawyer just like herself with Elaineđ
Listened late...was at work, but this was an amazing interview. I saw a trial why Ben earns his fees & why Camille became partner & never felt they were performing for camera, only for the client!
This was my second time watching this interview. Thank-you for your insight and comments . It was so incredibly informative.
You have to love Ben Chew. He is not threatened by up and coming young attorneys, seems to want to help them, and give them credit for their hard work. The firm Chew is with gives young attorneys opportunities to shine and promote them, which is very impressive. Camille is a shining star, excellent and impressive, extremely intelligent and humble. Congratulations to Ben & Camille!
The more the partners use young lawyers to take depositions the better they become in time & for upcoming harder cases theyâd be all brilliant & cunning in their questions & then on to cross-examination in actual court cases.!!!
My favorite part was getting the insight of why Ben was so emotional during closing.
The grammar comment was funny. I paused the video, stopped myself to celebrate for a second. lol It is such a pet peeve of mine when professionals or websites have incorrect grammar. I see so many errors on advertisements etc... drives me bananas.
Itâs television dummies that use âIâ incorrectly. I have taught my children that rule of when to use âIâ or âmeâ. There is nothing more grating for pseudo intellects using âIâ incorrectly. The Kardashians do it all the time! Jeez!
I had always wanted to be a lawyer watching certain tv shows and movies are interesting to me however seeing cases that are transparent and having someone like you break it down with understandable explanations so interesting. Thank you for taking the time to do this. You really do make a difference
Absolutely loved this video with Camille and Ben. Hearing everything about their jobs, hopes, dreams and most of all advice, big time. I really thought this was fantastic so thank you soooooo much for this x
Love Ben, heâs such a natural
TY Lawyer you Know for showing this.. Totally enjoyed it.
Ben Chew is such a rare breed when it comes to being a manager, a boss or mentor. To have so much trust in less experienced and letting go of that control is to be admired. It wouldnât be easy to do either but thatâs what heâs there for if they ever need help.
They both are genuine decent people. I would watch more of their cases if that's available
Watching the trial really did help me to see how great JD's lawyers worked together and were after the truth! The other side seemed to not flow and were as crooked as their client! I loved that we were able to see it from beginning to end! Total respect to you lawyers! Peter, you're awesome to give so much of your time like you do! We all know you are very busy! So thank you!!
Ben Chew is the best! The kind of lawyer you really want - calm, funny and caring.
Love the cameras in the court room. To see it first hand and not after being edited from the mainstream media, I enjoyed it. The hardest part would just be to decide what type of trails to watch or air.
I enjoy your outlook! I never seem to be available to catch your "live"'s. God bless you and your family!
While on the stand, Herd referred to what she called her âBRUISE KITâ, then tried to clean up the terminology. There is a young lady on CZcams that demonstrated a product called a âBRUISE KITâ and how to CREATE A BRUISE with it. Thatâs EXACTLY what Herd used and ADMITTED TO THAT ON THE STAND. And the kit looks EXACTLY like the one Herdâs lawyer, Elaine, showed in court.
It also proves that she never used any of those color correction kits⊠đ I mean câmon!?âŠ
It's always cool hearing your perspectives on things Peter.
Excellent podcast Peter, thank you
This is the best interview I have seen of Camille and Ben. Thanks for reviewing.
Replay watcher here to thank you for doing this. I enjoy *all* your commentary âreactionâ vids. As an example, Iâll watch each segment of AH's depo that has been coming out in phases by IA & Jaxx, and then follow up here afterward for your more in depth legal insight.
đ Oh BTW, because of your rec, I watched Primal Fear on Tuesday and absolutely *loved* it. (I donât know how in the world I wasnât aware of its existence until your list came out, so thank you for that.) Although I kind of chuckled during some of the legally unrealistic courtroom scenes, those parts didnât ruin it for me; I know itâs a Hollywood thing they do for added drama. And like you had mentioned ... what an ending! Wowza!
I never got to tell the group that my all time favorite movie is Twelve Angry Men. The actors were the very best and it showed elements of human nature that are real.
Watching the Depp/Heard trial every single day, I was so impressed with the professionalism, integrity and talent of the Depp lawyers. In contrast, Heard could not have had a team of lawyers more the opposite of Depp's team of lawyers.
The two teams of lawyers, Depp's and Heard's, going head to head highlighted and made excruciatingly obvious the difference between the two teams of lawyers.
Having the TRUTH on their side didn't hurt the Depp team, either!!
I love this video, thank you for posting it with your input Mr. Peter!
Commenting on memorizing the closing statement.. I was impressed with the opening statement of the prosecutor in the Parkland trial! He knew every detail by heart, and I'm sure he captivated the jury
I think they had a notion that social media would play a role, for JD. But their goal was not to persuade social media, their goal was to persuade the jury. As for AH's side, they spent too much time focused on social media, for instance...after the 10 day break, the first questions being asked of AH by EB, were all about what had happened on social media. If the jury, followed the rules and didn't look into SM (I believe they avoided trial stuff on SM, I don't know if they avoided SM all together) then some things made no sense. AH had her team chasing their tails trying the case on SM rather than talking to the jury.
I agree with other commenters that the real thing was far more interesting. The drama was happening in the moment and we were learning at the same time.
I loved that you also answered the questions as well.. we got to know you a bit more
Thank you so much! So fascinating!
