On June 14th, 2021, I traveled to Tweetsie Railroad once again. But this was no ordinary visit. Instead, today, I would temporarily transform into a 5 year old again as I attended my first Day Out With Thomas event in 11 years. The star of the show, was of course, Thomas the Tank Engine, smiling and talking to his fans. Right behind him however, and most certainly not to be outdone, was locomotive #12, sporting a black smokebox and her old boiler tube cowcatcher, the first time the old girl had worn it since 1998. This video also marks the first time that I've filmed with my brand-spanking new iPhone 11, and I've got to say, the camera quality on the new phone is a huge boost! Now, without further ado, sit back, relax, grab some popcorn and a soda, and enjoy the sights and sounds of Tweetsie Railroad and a Day Out With Thomas!
We were there with our twin 3 year olds. Rode the second train. Thank you for sharing, our kids enjoying reliving the day :)
Glad y’all enjoyed it!

You can... Kinda tell they were struggling to incorporate Thomas into the attraction.
Aside from the --Indian-- Native American calling Thomas a blue puffball (which, while nice, feels ad-libbed), Thomas doesn't really do much besides getting shunted by Engine Number 12.
when do you think the indians will return to fort boone along with trooper boggs?
I don’t know, and to be quite frank, I don’t really care.
@@TweetsieRailroader when I went weeks ago and noticed the Indians were gone and the bandits taking their place I was like “the heck? were did they go?” eh I’ll never know now
@@mr.minebloxdaylighttwinkle442 Thing is, Tweetsie wants to bring them back, but they also don't want to face the controversy of having them around.
What day are you going to the threshers’ reunion in Denton?
Most likely July 5th. Why do you ask?
I never been tweetsie railroad
