On August 7, 2014, on our way home from Tennessee, we had to make a stop at Tweetsie. Under steam today was the "Yukon Queen", #190. She was built back in 1943 and was used for the US Army Transportation Corps on the White Pass & Yukon. The crew was happy enough to offer me a cab ride on the 3-mile loop. Enjoy some cab footage inside 190 with a bonus track side run-by!
Excellent job Ryan
You are right
0:26 did the train have a wheel slip? Because the chuffing sounds say it all.
Sounds like it did to me as well.

Great Video, Ryan!
ryan how do you get cab rides
Usually if 190 is pulling the train, you can just ask for one. You can only get them in 12 during their heritage weekend in August. They are free, and the only requirements are that you are at least 12 and have tennis shoes or boots on.
I went on a cab ride in 12
The Omaha zoo has 2 steam engines engine #s #104-#119
Is the engineer's name Benjamin? I've seen that guy at Tweetsie before....He could use a few lessons behind the throttle.
he nows haw to operate the engine at tweetsie
