Tweetsie Railroad #190, the "Yukon Queen" is an ex-US Army mikado that served during WWII. Filmed July 19th, 2008. Sorry, didn't bring a tripod, thus the shakiness.

7:07 Scott McLeod reminds me of when Bill Purdie and Albert DInkins were at 722 and 1238’s throttles respectively

Maybe a little, but it isn't uncommon. Most likely she's just speeding up quickly.

Just grabbed the camera and reached down as far as I could. The difficult part is getting the right angle.

If you're referring to the in-cab shots, a lot of the "scratchiness" is due to the camera's microphone. The sounds are so loud in the cab that it often starts "clipping," making it sound scratchy. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what you're talking about.

How do you get the cab rides, is it like a special occasion type thing? Does it cost extra? All I know is that would have been the highlight of my younger years & probably now too!

How did you get the shot at about 3:10?

A lot of that is not with the whistle, but the sound quality.

Nice video! It has been favorited! I had a cab ride in #190 a few years back and it was amazing!
