Adrian, you had a big part to do with giving the Kid some pretty special memories. Way to be stand up man. Much respect to you.
Watching "The Kid" and her interaction with the rest of Y'all, I'm impressed at how mentally quick she is. Good on Ya for bringing the younger folks in. Lets keep this love of old iron alive!
Always loved the Kid!❤💥💯
So stoked for Kid… yes a shirt with Dreamsicle and FSG Kid on it would be sick.
Whatever angle the truck is on the shirt should show that license plate
I need a shirt so please design some for "The Kid" truck. Amazing videos FSG are putting out. ❤🐾🐾🐾♥️
You guys are not only the coolest and aunt and uncle, but good role models for The Kid.
FSG KID is perfect, and absolutely do a t shirt for the Kid, I’ll buy one for sure! Congratulations young lady, you’re going to have an awesome truck with Emily and Arron helping you! This is going to be a great build!
You Guys are the Best Aunt n Uncle a Kid could have, 17 minutes in and You got an old men in tears..
I usualy enjoy the videos when the kid participates a litle extra, but.....
This one I LOVED!!! ❣
The look of her face when she realized.... 🤩
This makes me smile we have a (part’s bin 68/70/72) c-10 step side that my daughter has helped me with since she could walk!! The day she got her license she has taken it everywhere she loves that little truck.. the kid reminds me of Shelby so much it’s not funny! young ladies like that are a gift from god. Have fun kid and good job u guys she seems so happy
Absolutely heart warming. This is what our kids
need today, a purpose in life. Something to be
involved in and be proud of.
Engineer here…. Best way to create an engineer is to get them involved in a project. The project can be theirs … can be some one else’s, like a race car, can be electronic like a computer…. But learning how things work makes a kid a better adult…. My first at 16 was a 1950 ford F1 flat head
Growing up poor has its benefits, it taught me at a young age that if it needed fixing, the best way to do it with yourself
Perfect for the Kid! You go girl! this you will remember forever!
I'm looking forward to seeing more of the kid in your videos. 😊 It's always fun to watch the younger generations learning automotive maintenence. 👍
The kid is really lucky she has a family that loves her dearly and wants to give her a chance to carve her own path in life most kids never get.
My first car @ !7 was a 65 Plymouth Barracuda with a 273 and a 4 speed.
I think that’s awesome. You guys are awesome aunt and uncle.
You guys can do shows for the next 20 years and not top this one. Brought tears to the eye of this 81 year old man afew times in the last hour. Love the kid, she is special. Great to see you two passing on your love for wrenching to the next generation.
This 70 year old man had tears in my eyes when she was given this first project, and loved my Dads 1970 Chevy C20 Camper Special, which he owned until 1988, when he traded I’d for an 88 K3500 single rear axle., I ended up buying the 88 from him in 2013, and it is still running after I sold it to a friend on mine. So
Happy for that young lady that I refuse to call the kid😊😊
Congratulations on the first vehicle. What a great one to start with!
Her smile was just awesome, great job !!!
Unreal! My 3rd rig was a '72 K10 Miss that monster. Go get em Kid!
"The kid" deserves a truck to drive(when that time comes) great aunt Emily n uncle Aaron! So cool for the kid!
Takes me back to high school when my dad gave me his Chevy Caprice coupe when he bought his 1986 K Blazer. The Caprice needed a lot of work but that’s how I learned to work on cars.
Alright, who’s cutting onions? Her smile is defiantly contagious. Well done y’all
I never comment on videos. But this ones different ! Kid you have the perfect combination of teachers. Your uncle, i like the way he just hands you wrench and says go . Your aunt, well she knows how it feels not to know much , but in the past few years shes helped on a bunch of automobiles . So shes got your back . And the quick wit of your is awesome. So get them hands dirty little girl ❤
Ps never bought a t-shirt off CZcams either. But id definitely get this one .
Tks yall for just good clean videos ❤
Loved all of the Kid's comments.
What a fun project. Can't wait to see where it goes. Sounds like the plans are already done but there are so many great options. QA1 makes a suspension upgrade that I've always wanted to try on a truck of that vintage. Oh, and I love the Sure Can's as well. A bit pricy but well worth the investment. Have fun!!! (And great job and shooting and editing Adrian.)
Wow! I've been watching FSG for a long time. I remember "The Kid" when she was just around 4 years old or so. Can't believe she is twelve already. So cool of you guys and Adrian to arrange this for her to be her first project. Had a tear in my eye and was grinning throughout the video after the reveal of it being her truck. Look forward to watching the progress on this when y'all get a chance to work on it.
We sure appreciate your support over the years!!!
That's so cool. That 2 tone orange will look amazing if she goes with that idea. It'll great seeing the process of this truck and when she gets to drive it.
I've actually been watching your videos for quite some time but never comment on anything. But this time I had to respond so sweet of you. I have been crying and laughing with joy every now and then
Dreamsicle.... ready for the shirt. Your niece is growing so fast. She is already planning her schedule to get everything done so she can drive it when she gets her permit..... very motivated. It is so nice how everyone is teaching her and motivating her. The next generation of wrenching experts need that type of loving help and care.
I truly believe that you changed the Kids life. Keep being awesome y'all.
The kid is great, best aunt and uncle ever. Love the truck beautiful. More vides like this please with the kid. Learning can never come to soon.
Its so cool that you got your niece the pick up. I had a 1972 GMC that was the orange / white .I wish i had kept it, Your niece is such a hoot and so quick with the come backs. I hope you do repaint the orange and while. cant wait for part 2
Who’s chopping onions? 😂. You all are awesome! Great first project for the kid.
You go, ladies!!! There is no better looking truck by any manufacturer and this particular one looks to be in very re-buildable condition! I have a 70 short box k10 myself, and I would rather drive it than any other vehicle I have in my "fleet."
I wish I could get my grandkids as excited to work on and with cars as "the kid" is here! And, Em, You're exactly right when you mentioned that the people watching would be wearing huge smiles as they saw her trade quips without missing a beat!
Can't wait to see part 2 on this!!
Well that brought tears to my eyes. You are amazing and what a great project.
What a small world! Sonny Berryhill has done a lot of body repair work for my family. That C-10 is an awesome project for her!
Aye!!!!!
Emily and Aaron you both are Awesome doing that for your niece and back in 1977 my Stepdad got me a 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and it was not in the world greatest shape the body was pretty bad.
This is so very cool and I love her reaction What a Great gift.
First item on the shopping list...a fan shroud. Congratulations kid, you have an awesome project. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
So great to get the kids involved. I also like to watch Sleeperdudes where the whole family works on auto projects
Best episode I've seen on CZcams in a while. Period, full stop. I am happy for all and what a perfect vehicle to start on! Well deserved and the start of a great hobby.
Yes s tshirst would be great and get the vanity plate now. See if you can pull ip the creamsicle logo. I pulled it up off the internet its so cool ha ha get it.
Thank you so much!!!!
Love that she has a project, infact last video with her helping with the 57 i was thinking it would be awesome for her to have something of her very own, i loved seeing her so happy, you guys are the best aunt and uncle ever!!
Awesome video and such a great surprise for the kid. The one liners that were flowing throughout were great. Y’all have such a great time together and it was so good to “meet” Adrian.
Emily, “We don’t have any orange vehicles in our fleet.”
The Kid, “I’ve got one!!!”
Your kid as you call her, what a lovely way to get someone involved in this great life, she is bubbly, and willing to learn, fantastic to see ,great first truck as,well enjoyed the 1st video hope you all have fun learn, cool😂😂
I have always loved watching your show. The kid is great. You guys are very special people. Stay the way you are. Love VGG as well, so i can relate to all your Derrick comments.
kinda subtle, but i think the kid is a little excited...just maybe. ;) how cool is that? it's all the cool.
it's crazy that I've been watching yall so long that the Kid has grown up to the point of getting her first truck . Congratulations Kid it's nice to have awesome aunt and uncle . I can tell Aaron loves teach the kid
Great episode! Awesome to see the kids face when she found out this is her first truck, awesome to see the man behind the editing (Adrian does a great job on these videos) and just awesome to see the kid soaking up all the knowledge she can!
Her surprise and smile was priceless! How cool is that. You guys did great. Looking forward to see how this comes around. ❤
Awesome, good job guys and congratulations KID! And, I love the name, it is perfect. YOU SHOULD GET DREAMSICLE TO SPONSER HER BUILD.
Awe you all amaze me everytime i watch. You make the best aunt and uncle ,love you
My first truck was a c20 and I loved that truck. You guys have inspired me to find another one for my granddaughter.
We love this!!!
Congratulations kiddo how awesome is this! Best thing ever is getting to see is a great kid so happy about an old truck. Also one of the easiest kind to work on as well old Chevys are the best rigs and still doing well 52 years later. A big plus it's got No fancy sensors but they go for a long time with upkeep. Can't wait to see it on the channel. Way to go Aaron and Emily getting the kid in her first vehicle and sharing it with all of us out here in viewervill kudos to all involved! Yes let's get a shirt for the kids build fundraiser for a reliable ride that will take her off to college and life.
It brings tears to my eyes when you told her that it's her truck and her first project then she teared up! It was so precious to see how shocked and grateful she was!❤
Congratulations kid lovely truck can't wait to see you driving it
By the way kid, my uncle John taught me how to do mechanic work we work together, taking a transmission out of freightliner. I miss it so bad working with him. He’s he has dementia now.
This show just keeps getting better and better!! Helping raise the next generation of gearheads!! The Kid was running on pure adrenaline the entire time!! Congrats on your first project!!! Can’t wait to see the next episode!
Do t-shirts, caps, stickers, and key chains for the Kid's fundraiser. I always enjoy every episode on your channel, even more when the Kid is in the videos.
Literally crying!!! 😭😭😭 How special, she’s the sweetest! 💖✨🔧
Mr. B. Here ! 🚗☕️👀😎👍. Nobody I think forgets what it was like to get first vehicle & wrench on it . 👏👏👏👏
My first build was a 1966 VW Beetle when I was 14, it kept me out of trouble. The kids' enthusiasm is priceless! Ready for more of this build.
You guys are the best people ever. And the Kid is hooked for life a new generation all hail Flying Sparks Garage 🙌🏾
Wow what a great video, congratulations kid on your first vehicle, Aaron and Emily you are such awesome people, love you all ❤❤❤❤
The Kid and her attitude are a perfect match for her first project. Aaron picked up on that right away.
So glade for you. This make you independent young lady in life.

That is so awesome you giving your Niece that beautiful truck and she gave it a great name .
Awesome job 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ congratulations Kid 🎉🎉🎉
This pushed the happiness meter up to a solid 10!
This is awesome! She will never forget this trip!
Teaching her self-reliance and confidence. Those who know live off those who don’t. Sharp kid!
You got it!!!
Congratulations kid you have the world's greatest aunt and uncle !!!!!!!!!!!!
Congrats to the Kid! She'll remember this her whole life. And y'all too.
I think it's great to start your niece on a personal project. Wrenching is great
Gotta go with what Aron said, 4x4 long bed with diesel. I got one yall would like, 1971 c10 on a silverado 4x4 HD frame with a 5.9 cummins engine in it. It's a Frankenstein truck but love it haha
Aaron with "can't stop God's lessons.." 😂
y'all are killin it
this is perfect platform for The Kid, a beginners truck.
This is the coolest!!! You guys always make us smile! So happy for the Kid!!
You guys are so great to get the kid her first truck something she will never forget.
I would have loved to have met you guys while you were in Memphis. I live 15 minutes from there in MS. Really enjoy your content and how laid back you both are. Stay safe.
Yes, Yes, Yes, I have been waiting for this video to drop since learnig about this eipc moment over on Instagram. I am so made up, what an excellent Auntie and Uncle you are and i cannot wait for this this project to unfold. Much love from the UK, i will keep a look out for the new merch to help fund the biuld.
Brought tears to my eyes. Way back in ‘79 when I turned 16 my first vehicle was a ‘72 GMC 1/2 ton, 250 6 cylinder.
Seeing a young person so thrilled brought back so many memories.
Greatest video on CZcams. Go Kid!
SO SO PERFECT!!!! She's so blessed to have an Aunt and Uncle that love her so much!!! Brought tears to my eyes out here in CA!!! 💞
My daughter was 12 almost 13 when we bought her first car. Unfortunately she did’t live to be 14 and drive on her school permit. Enjoy it Kid.
You made a stranger cry for sure.
Awww goodness, thank you for this comment and being so honest 🥹 prayers to you and we send our love!
We lost our 43yr old daughter 11 months ago today.
Sorry for your lost.
Sorry for your loss ❤
She knew when they left. My first truck was a 1958 Cameo! Still have it since 1977.
Please move that gas tank. Three friends of mine wrecked a truck in Dallas with an in-cab tank. Two of them burned to death. The third is horribly scarred over most of his body from 3rd degree burns. It may be rare, but it can happen.
“ Can’t interrupt God’s Lessons” My new line with my three kids. Thank you
The Kid has a cool truck. Have fun creating your dream and remember the time you spend with your aunt and uncle on your project.👍
Awesome what you did guys did for your niece congratulations. She is blessed to have you as aunty uncle.
You need to bring Garfield to Fairmount Indiana. James Dean and Garfield are painted on the water tower. Cartoonist Jim Davis is from there.
This is so cool. Something she will never forget. I had a 70 Chevy in high school I love the old trucks.
Outstanding. This is the way it should be. Make me think when . I was a young boy many years ago
Loved it. Ya had me all teary eyed at first. The Kid kept me laughing. I'm glad you guys did this for her. That's great. By the way, I love her hair!
I think that its great that you and Erin teach your niece all about cars and mechanical stuff. I also noticed that when you all where working on the pickup truck, the people had the truck also had an excursion parked in the driveway. I have one with a V10 in it, really sucks up the gas.
Emily and Aron, I'm beyond impressed. Congrats to the kid! V8, disc front and blue dots!!!!!!! Great project for really good folks! Our country so needs more adult / kid projects. Here's hoping this inspires others.
I've been watching ya'll since the beginning. I've gotten such a thrill watching the "kid" get excited and involved with all the builds. Never could get my 2 boys to get excited about my chevelle. This is a build that I'm going to follow closely. The look on her face was priceless. Have fun,you have the time, make it what you want.
I knew this was coming. I didn't know when or what, but I knew! With her attitude, how could you not! I look forward to watching this build!
This is super great.
I’m almost 20 minutes into this episode and I’m smiling ear to ear and almost crying a bit.
From “Beef!” to dried up tear ducts, this is a lot of fun to watch.❤
An amazing and very funny episode.
Congratulations to the Kid!
This is a great thing for her and a family thing too. I love the camaraderie and the spirit of what you guys do for one another. God bless you.
Awesome! What a great way for the Kid get started in life. This is one reason why I so enjoy FSG. Keep it up.
At 34:00 when you all started talking Carolina squat I died. I live in Nc and you all nailed it especially with the sideways hat and Aaron doing the lip thing!
🤣 😂 🤣
I've followed you guys since the beginning, have watched your channel, and "the kid" grow, her reaction was awesome, heck of a job guys!
Awesome, congrats kid. Can't wait to see the videos.
