julio represents all the player that died like this.
I just get near seat after tripping one of these or have second heart
This explains a cyberpunk campaign more than ANY other scene in this movie.
The super speed in this anime is freaking insane 👌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💡🔥🔥😤😭
Please kiwi? Thank you kiwi?
Kiwi monologue always memorable escpecially at the end
They had to kill off Julio because he was too OP for the story
Well his voice actor is
I love how David uses the Sandevistan and the Maelstrom goon the synapse booster to react to David's movements
- Goes to The Afterlife
- Asks for a Julio
There are no Heroes in Night City, only survivors.
If you're a survivor in NC, you're not a Legend... yet.
And then theres Adam Smasher, and Morgan Blackhand....
@@Scazoid and V
Julio lasted just long enough. Any more of that would of been annoying. I feel ya Rebecca.
2:20 the bit you're all here for.
I actually came for 1:58
Julio death had me rolling 🤣 💀 😭 😂
I didn't think for an instant he was going to live. Just him bragging about his gun before the mission suggested not only his lack of knowledge for quality gear but his excitement over what was to come suggested that he had absolutely no thought to be even slightly cautious in his approach. He was a recipe for disaster and this shows writers and storyboard team definitely has no problem portraying just how dangerous their world is.
2:17 Me tryna take out the first sniper during the mission with Takemura at the parade 😂
Or that cyberpsycho near a garage
Just a reminder. No matter how good David and his crew were, they will never party like it's 2023.
Can we just talk about David not pulling Julio away from the bomb? Like, he has super speed and just warned Julio.
Likely Sandy was on Cooldown.
Also, Sandy has to be activated manually. You only get super Reactions during Sandy so Suprise attacks can get you.
@@arnowisp6244 Second reason is good enough, first reason doesn't work in the show where we've seen him use it multiple times in a row with a shorter amount of time between it than the time between him ending his slo-mo here and the explosion here.
He's pretty apathetic at this point, and that's how they wanted to show us, I guess.
@@spikegilfer1997 He also didn’t include Rebecca in the getaway when he told Falco to save Lucy and split the reward with her. I thought that was pretty messed up.
@@ojroche5217 well we dont really know if he didint mention Rebecca cause why would falco mention splitting the money with someone who's already dead
Only time I ever remember dying from a land mine was when you gotta fight that one Cyberpsycho in the badlands that uses a sniper and invisibility. I charged at him while he was sniping at me having no idea he was completely surrounded with land mines and pulled a Julio.
I had a good news on early March 2023! Zach Aguilar who voice acted David just winning Crunchyroll Anime Awards as the best English Voice Actor! I'm really so happy for him after becoming his fans!
Julio's death was funny af, but also kind of sad bc it seemed nobody really cared that he died lol
I appreciate them showing the real-time result of David using the Sandevistan here. It’s cool in slow-mo, but even more impressive when you get a sense for how it looks to anyone without the implant.
Physically it doesn't make for him to flip over him that fast, since there was no time for gravity to pull him down. It looks super cool though so I'm not complaining.
Fair enough Julio, I’ve done that too.
Idk why but I just love the way Julio says “NOVA”
“Did you never learn to fly?”
“NO THANKS CHOOM…I KNOW HOW TO FLY JUST FINE…”
I love how they show the armcannon being just as busted as it is in the game.
The projectile launcher is only really that busted when you have the non-lethal ammo slotted. Takes literally any non-boss enemy out in one shot.
Really loved the pace of the fights in this show. No stopping for exposition/flashbacks. Straight and to the point. The way we get to see both perspectives of the sandevisstan is also sick and puts into perspective how badass David is
Julio- blew up right when he said "bang". Talk about tragedic comedy
Julio taught me to check the corners and walls for mines in game.
1:51 I love that his hands are making after images that looks like wings as david says "l know how to fly just fine"
The cyberpunk universe would be extremely hard to survive in
So hard that there are barely any living legends around.
He was a good man. Death was not deseved.
Absolutely love that they animated the results after the use of the Sandy in this! I really appreciate that!
I like how hammer bro managed to say "time for me to teach you" in the slowed time
Kiwi is one hell of a runner to have targeted and short-circuited all of them
She missed a few
I want to know her build
1:25 my favourite death scene In the show
"Shew shew, bang!" R.I.P.
shame Julio died so quick mainly because he's Eren's VA
First Bryce’s characters need to turn up their awareness level
1. Eren couldnt see a Titan coming to snatch his foot, noor couldn see a sniper on his right side
2. Can’t bother to look behind him to see a poison blood scythe about to stab his back
3. And now this can’t even watch out for mines
"Roger Roger."
Yooo they were Clankers all along
Dude I was screaming out at his name and just as I was afraid to happen again
Lol. I spend a stupid amount of time running around that mine field in Badlands grinding my engeneering. I flatlined so many times and I knew the mines were there. XD
I like how David shoots the guy when he is in the air, but when the sandy is over em he is standing. Makes me think he tried to look cool right there
If you look closely at the real-time fade, he shoots when upside down in the air and flips over to land.
He also uses his right cannon in the air, but when he lands it's his left
@@thadofalltrades nah hes upside down, he only has a cannon in his left hand, also in real time there is a frame of him upside down
I've only seen one other anime do the "anime time vs real time" comparison, and it was friggin' Clannad lmao
Also Julio getting absolutely splattered was peak Cyberpunk. Anyone who's played the TTRPG knows how easy it is to die in that game xD
Don't you love it when the main characters can stand still in the open behind no cover in a shoot off and miraculously never get shot?!?!?!?
It doesnt last...
Netrunner hacks in-game can reduce accuracy if enemy fire- it’s probably what Kiwi used on the Mooks there
You forget that all of their cybernetics were literally fried a few seconds ago
@@Tucker619 she literally said at 0:33 that she didn’t get all of them lol, plus this isn’t the only instance of the anime where they are in a shoot off and they aren’t in cover
@@martinthomas8955 “didn’t get all of them”
Implies that there were a few remaining, plus they’re practically expert marksmens, I’m sure they shot first
Julio : GOO BANG
Tripwire : And I take that personally
David did warned him to not rush and stay behind him, my man just was overly estimulated from seeing David shred like that
Song: “NIGHT CITY ALIENS” Btw, coolest sh!t I’ve seen out of that anime, now back to playing the damn game.
"Here lies Julio, he ran fast and died a virgin."
What a pity to put that on his tombstone
"You really blew us away with your enthusiasm" - his actual grave
bet no one noticed he's hiding a satara behind his back at 0:02
The guy who died at the end was kind of funny I kind of feel bad for him but well if they added a Wilhelm scream that would have made it even better
Julio really enjoyed himself. Had a blast.
Ba dum tss 🥁
1:58 and that shit is why superspeed has got to be one of the scariest powers to fight from a normal humans perspective.
you blink for a second and you or your friend is dead.
1:19 I bet Julio was wetting his fanboy pants out seeing his idol in all his shirtless glory
It must’ve been a good last memory before he flatlined
Julio is basically me doing the Hotline Miami heist in Payday 2 for the first time and getting downed to the claymores
Everyone’s done the julio before, admit it
how rebecca just sighs like "damn, sucks"
“He blew us all away with his enthusiasm.”
That moment you realize that Julio is voiced by the same actor who voiced Meliodas and Eren Yeager
Cant watch out for a sniper = Eren
Cant watch out for a poison blood scythe from the back = Inosuke
And now this didn’t bother to watch for traps
Bryce your characters need to turn up their awareness up in call of duty LMFAO
This show was so good i need more seasons with new tales
1:07
*"TINY PUNKS... AREN'T YOU SCARED?"*
please, Kiwi
thank you, Kiwi
That full speed Sandy duel always gets me. Its so cooollll
I love how excited Rebecca is to run out of ammo.
0:24 Rebecca's Psycho laugh gived me a reason to live
R.I.P BEST girl.
Real cool that David is voiced in the English dub by the same guy who plays tanjiro in demon slayer, and Julio in the English dub is played by the same guy who plays inosuke in demon slayer
