Its very clear where you got some of your technique. You both demonstrate that expertly. The flow, technicality, controlled aggression, and even the chemistry you two have made this an absolute joy to watch. Almost like fighting a mirror-image of yourself at times. Rip Bruce doubt we’ll ever see him back
Their physiques don't match at all and Bruce has a traditional stance. He also doesn't sweep as much and focuses on mid to upper body combos with occasional low kicks. The guys in the video are great, but fight differently, like Josie Rizal and Lee Chaolan whose entries and feints match theirs.

Wow, his modified phily shell at the end was some high level defensive technique. Countering with legs kicks to throw off your balance is just beautiful to watch. I can see why you appreciate him as a coach. Plus he reads your combos better than anyone you sparred lately.

Just based on this, I gotta hand it to the old master: he seems to read Jeff like a book and usually has 2 or 3 alternative countermoves queued up. His stability, his balance, is just wow, and his killshots (always launched with care and control) look devastating.

I can definitely see the influence. He has a very fluid style. I think one difference is you take angles a lot more, whereas he likes to stand right in front and counter.

Amazing sparring and breakdown Jeff. Glad to see former students linking up with their earlier mentors and showing them they've improved and evolved. I notice both your styles aren't traditional Muay Thai though, I'd say they're more modernized or adapted to MMA applications especially the stance and guard.

I know I was born for this sport. It was such a natural feeling for me to kick. Spinning kick, straight kicks, question mark kicks. It all came so easy. Wish I had someone to put me into Muay Thai when I was young. 😢

This is the first time I have seen shoulder roll/Philly shell style used in kickboxing. I was always taught it couldn't work.

Kru D has some awesome functional muscle development! I love his efficiency, too. He was really nice to you, lets be honest here haha😂. Nice seeing one of your teachers, especially such an outstanding one. He is solid but also strategically smart. He could be 130 and he still wouldn't be going anywhere 😅. I think you did exceptionally well, I like seeing how you react to a challenge, so often it seems too easy for you. Love the respect, control and smiles. Nice video as always, keep them coming.
