Okay you've convinced me to buy the AHC Youth Lasting Real Eye Cream. 😂 I've been using AHC since the 5th generation, and I can say 8th generation is my fav. However that stuff is heavily fragranced and it contains over 60 ingredients 😭 I have combi dehydrated sensitive acne prone skin but my eyes love the cream lol. I use it only at night and I always wake up with a healthy looking eyes eventho I only slept for like 4hrs 😂 Despite that obvious smell, AHC is a great and affordable eye cream that can be used as a moisturiser as well. But after using it for 4 yrs I think I'm used to the smell now. Just hoping they can make it unscented tho :(
🤣🤣🤣 I think they try very hard to make these creams smell like a typical spa treatment, but yes the fragrance can be a little overpowering 😅 I was genuinely so impressed by how well-rested the creams in this franchise make my skin look, especially because they come at such a ridiculously low price point. Absolutely amazing!

I bought the Phymongshe bb cream after seeing this and am really shocked how little I need to cover my redness, how it really does look like skin, and the fact that it really did not transfer! I was skeptical about how transfer proof it would be, but I not only blotted it with my tissue but RUBBED it and the tissue only picked up some oil, not any pigment. Despite the price, I think it's worth it! Thank you for your informative videos.

You're very welcome and thank you for the kind words! As for the AHC eye cream, in terms of ingredients the 8th generation is very similar the to the 9th generation, as in the main ingredients are the same human-like collagen and human-like elastin biodesigned by Geltor. The main difference between the two is that the collagen molecules of the 8th generation are a tiny bit bigger (1/400 the size of skin pores, as opposed to 1/500 of the 9th generation) and the 8th generation doesn't contain the fancy anti-aging probiotics I mention in this video 😄 In terms of feeling on the skin, the formula of the 8th generation was also a little lighter than the one of the 9th generation, so that's also something to keep in mind if you don't like super oily products 😄
The Phymongshe’s bb cream I talked about in this video is mask-proof (I talked about it in more detail in my video on Post-Covid Korean beauty trends 😁)

You're perfectly right, they're "inactivated" microbes, exactly like the ones you find in probiotic skincare products (it's the same concept after all 😄). While some critics question the effectiveness of these inactivated strains, we have a number of studies that suggest that microbes are still effective after being inactivated. However, it's good to remember that all studies we have on the skin microbiota are pretty recent, so there are contrasting opinions on the topic! Hi Odile, I was wondering what your overall opinion of AHC as a skincare brand is? I’ve heard it’s popular in Korea, however it is nearly impossible to get any reviews on AHC apart from their “Eye cream for face” over here in Australia.
It's not a fresh gel formula, it's more like a light mousse that is not heavy or occlusive even if can you still feel it on the skin compared to a gel 🤔 so I think if you're a fan of super light moisturisers that disappear on the skin within seconds, maybe this cream is not for you, otherwise it should be perfectly fine even in hot weather.
