There needs to be a Police Academy remake with Steve again đ
High Spirits is one of my favourite movies, amazing cast too. Really underrated đđ»
What a lovely normal man! We love him more now than we did in the 80's!
Police Academy will be forever my favorite comedy of all-time!
How sad you must be.
Diner, Police Academy, Short Circuit, Cocoon, Three Men and a Baby, High Spirits. All Gems. Steve Guttenburg's films were part of the Zeitgeist.
Every one of his movies is amazingâŠ.
Never heard of this guy.
Omg High Spirits!! U are just a terrifically retro channel!!! This is just amazing!!!â€â€â€â€â€
Mahoney was my first movie star crushâŠI was 9 lol! My friends and I were DEFINITELY not supposed to be watching it but i think my friends Dad either wasnât paying attention or wanted to see it himself so we rented it on vhs for our sleepover. I instantly fell in love with Police Academy! And i completely agree about Citizens on Patrol, that one is my favorite!
"Who keeps Steve Guttenberg...a star?"
Hi, new subscriber here đ Thanks for sharing this awesome video of one of my favorite actors. đđżđ„
For me, Diner is his best movie. That one is just perfect. Mickey Rourke, Kevin Bacon, Daniel Stern and Paul Reiser. Such a great cast.
Sweet! An explanation on The Stonecutter Song! Now to find out the meaning "who robs cave fish of their site"
Tower of terror is an overlooked movie!
Party down episode is great đ đ
Guttenberg was my first man crush when I saw him in police academy i guess 1981. not gay, just thought he was the coolest dude ever.
He hasthe key to my funny bone
Steve Guttenberg was in an ABC movie special called The Day After, which gave me nightmares throughout my childhood. The movie was about a Midwest town during the 1980s during the Cold War and what it would be like if we went to nuclear war with the USSR. I know it's cheese for the 80s but this is the scene that I was telling you about: czcams.com/video/TOPaaHSjMcw/video.htmlsi=qBUnIf1L-cH5jkmr&t=3501
He went to my high school and even though I was a lot younger than him I was supposed to go out on a date with him and I turn it down. Itâs crazy because he was good friends with the guy that owns Pappalardoâs pizza in Massapequa, Long Island, Joe Pappalardo thatâs his boy. I shouldâve gone out with him when I had the opportunity just to hear stories about his career but I wasnât attracted to him lol.
Lavalantula 2015 and 2 Lava 2 Lantula! 2016 I had real hoped for a 3 but NO Syfy sadly did not want to.
Forgot how beautiful Raquel Welch's daughter is, give her mom a run for her money.
I believe it was the work of the Stonecutters.
The Day After
"King of the 80s?" Who are you kidding. Nobody ever watched a movie because Guttenberg was in it. He was cast in high concept movies that would have been hits regardless of the actor in them. Police Academy was an ensemble movie, Short Circuit was about the Robot, Cocoon starred 3 more prominant stars, as did High Spirits. When he tried to carry a movie himself it bombed.
Versitality? Is that as good as versatility?
No its better.
Retro steals videos and reports them word for word from other content creators.
Comedic timing? Your funnier than Guttenberg ever was. A Household name? Come on.
Who????
You should do a video on another legendary Steve: Winwood. đ
He kinda even looked, and sounded, a bit like him back then. đ
It's probably for the best he turned down the role of sarcastic Venkmann, in favor of Bill Murray. đ«Ł
Shame he was replaced in the last PA. đ
