Who thinks Uncle Buck is bad? We need to have a conversation.
It’s not their personal opinion.
Uncle Buck is a great movie, I've never even met anyone that didn't like it, so seeing that was wild to me.
Uncle buck is a classic..it's one of John c candys best
Not anyone i know. It wasn't planes trains and automobiles but awful?
Not even close
@@tylerthompson1842 Of course it is there personal opinion, it isn't a fact 🙄
to Dolly Parton's defense, she turned the Civil War into a friendly disagreement between friends from the North and the South. And all the Pepsi your kids can drink...
Omg that's EXACTLY how my grandma tried to explain it to me as a kid!😅
Young Einstein was hilarious! The electric guitar was ablazing!
Whenever I hear "Heaven's Gate," my mind goes directly to that suicide cult with the black Nikes and purple shrouds worn by the members.
Grease 2 was just an 80s kid thing😂❤ we ALL loved it
If Grease 2 was not a part of the lovable movie Grease but it’s own movie we might see it as a great musical. I love both films
OMG!!!!! The words "Uncle Buck" shouldn't have ever even been said in this video!!!!
Actor Adrien Zmed was the reason Grease 2 bombed 😅
I love Grease 2 the message was better and Michelle Pfeifer was everything in it
The Beautiful And Talented Michelle Pheiffer Was The ONLY Worthwhile Thing In "Grease 2"!🤔🧐😱🤯I Should Know! I Had To Sit 🪑 Threw That Snoozefest! 😴 🙄@@lizzybethnj617
At least we had memorable "awful movies". Nowadays, the good ones are so rare people will be astounded that we didn't round up all of Hollywood and execute them for crimes against celluloid....
I’m so tired of people crapping on mommy dearest, that movie was incredible, and Faye Dunaway deserved an Oscar that had its camp moments, but it was an incredible portrayal. The costumes were unbelievably beautiful and the movie really captured the essence of John Crawford‘s life and the Times I’m really tired of people crapping on that movie.
No
I never knew White People were mean to their kids before that. My Mom was worse than her. It was shocking. I remember being a child wondering how they knew my Mom.
I really LOVE Howard The Duck.
Me too
Me too
I also thoroughly enjoyed Howard the Duck.
Why?
@@gittes98 It's funny and imaginative.
bro you brought some memories back. noticed pretty much the same things as you did. awesome commentary. thanks
Grease 2 is the biggest abomination ever committed to screen. Worse than Inchon.
I enjoyed it and you should too! Try again.
I agree, actor Adrien Zmed should've never had a career 😅
@@Salsuero The music is terrible. "Reproduction"?. It's like they made it up on the spot. Just garbage.
@@1sotrue Agreed.
@@JoeyArmstrong2800 We all have opinions.
I never heard anybody in my entire life say Uncle Buck is bad? Everyone I ever talk to you about it said they loved it
Very smooth it had a great flow to it but I did like uncle Buck :-)
Oh definitely!!
I also loved Grease 2 when I was a kid and now yeah I agree, it does suck. The music is not as good as the original.
I always loved Howard the duck and thegarbage pale kids etc they were 80's movies and im an 80's kid yo! lol
They were both awful... and I loved them. Super Mario Bros. was also pretty ridiculous... but I'll watch it again.
Grease 2 should not be on the list sadly if it wasn’t called grease it would of been great 30years to early just think high school the musical and glee so many child good memories still love every song
I wish ppl would stop using rotten tomatoes to gauge movies popularity . I was there in the 80s and I don't remember it the same way
Paul rudd was amazing in mac and me.
The producers of "Mac and Me" owe us all a public apology for making that atrocious movie.
I loved Grease 2.
Grease 2 was better than Grease. I fight you for this.
Grease 2 was ok plus Michelle looked great like she always does. 👍 Amityville and Rosemary's Baby 👶 could be remade again with all the graphics we have now. Rhinestone lol 😆 😂 🤣 with Dolly and Sylvester lol 😆 😂 🤣. I love ❤ Howard the Duck as a Kid lol 😆 🤣 it was cool 😎. I would watch it again. I loved ❤ the Movie Who is that girl because of Madonna. However, Dick Tracy, Leage of their Own and Basic instantics were way better. The Alien movie was cute. Thanks 😎 for the video 📹 take care. Young Einstein lol 😆 😂.
If Hollywood Could Have Made "Grease 2" In 1979 Or 1980 , With John Travolta And Olivia Newton John , Then "Grease 2" Could Have Been Pretty Good.
But , Unfortunately , Hollywood Made Us Wait, 4 Years , Before Putting Out A Sequel!
People Nowadays Do Not Realize How Incredibly Long , 4 Years Was , To Wait For A Sequel!
Yes! We Had To Wait 3 Years For Each "Star Wars" Movie.
But At Least The "Star Wars" Movies Were Pretty Good. "Empire Strikes Back"( 1980 ) , "Return Of The Jedi"( 1983 )

I think it was still good but I do wonder...
SLY should be singing a new song for Budweiser's commercial parodies today
Worst movie without a doubt has to be the two Jakes with Jack. Came out I work in the theater got to see it for free and I walked out it was that BAD 😔😢
Seeing Sylvester Stallone singing country music is kinda hilarious 🤣
Without Young Einstein I never would have heard the song "I Hear Motion" which is still my jam. I can't knock Howard the Duck too much either because it's still entertaining, but to be fair I haven't seen it since the 90s probably, so maybe it hits different now.
I liked "Great Southern Land" from that movie.
Very different, because it was allowed to be seen by children, duck nudity, near bestiality
Personally I thought Supergirl was enjoyable. Also people think Uncle Buck is a bad movie? 🤔
ISHTAR.....the horror.....the horror....
I actually liked "Ishtar". Granted, it's no "Citizen Kane", but it's no "Plan 9 From Outer Space" either. And Dustin Hoffman & Warren Beatty worked well together.
1986 Judge Reinhold in Off Beat. Literally the worst movie I have ever seen and that is saying a lot.
Why I've never had this robot is an American tragedy. No Rosies. Just nasty dolls that do nothing but nasty.
I liked Howard the duck
I totally agree with this list, except “Heathers”, the reasoning for it being in this list is the whole point of the movie.
Grease 2 is definitely a guilty pleasure movie. It's bad, but those songs are catchy as hell. Plus I crushed on 4 of the cast members: Michelle Pfeiffer, Maxwell Caulfield, Leif Green, and Pamela Adlon (12 year old me crushing on 16 year old her was fine). Still crush on Pamela. She ended up being a very prolific and recognized voice actor. Bobby on King of the Hill is probably her most recognizable role.
I Remember 🤔 My Mother 👩🏻 Taking Me 🤓 ( As A 13 Year Old Teenager ) To See "Grease 2" , In 1982!
The Only Thing I Can Say About "Grease 2" That Is Good , Is That The World 🌎🌍 Was Introduced To Michelle Pheiffer!
As To The Movie Itself? Meh!😕🤦♂️🤷♂️
Not My Cup 🍵 Of Tea!
But I Can Imagine 🤔 That There Are People , Out There , That Love 😘"Grease 2"!
I Am Glad 😊😁 That I Did Not 🚫 Pay For My Movie Ticket 🎟️ Popcorn 🍿 Candy 🍫 Or My Coke!🥤🤔🙄😁😅😂🤣📽️🎟️🎟️🍿🍿🍫🍫🥤🥤🚶🚶🏻♀️

Jaws 3D
In 86, Howard the Duck was Shakespeare compared to Heartburn with Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep. I do agree that Rhinestone was dreadful.
Salsa, No Holds BArred
You lost me right off the bat with Heaven's Gate and Rocky IV. These are masterpieces compared to anything that's been released in the past decade.
Rhinestone was on a lot when I was a kid. My mom liked it. I watched it several times too cause it was on. I thought I just didn't get it.
Bad movie - Krull. Good Movies - Time Bandits, Ice Pirates, The Last Starfighter. I also liked Enemy Mine but it seems a little slow when I watch it now, kinda like Stripes.
Bad or Good? Police Academy series and Revenge of the Nerds series. Seriously I have watched them all so many times and I think they are both bad and good at the same time.
Time Bandits, The Last Starfighter, and Enemy Mine... I will watch those any day. Police Academy was dumb funny. It's hard not to like the series just because it was in that vein of dumb comedy. Like it for what it is. Revenge of the Nerds -- now that's total gold.
I LOVED rhinestone as a lil kid it was essentially a live cartoon think about it
Worst Movie Ever.... Garbage Pail Kids
I don't even remember any of the songs from the horrific Grease 2.
I absolutely love Grease 2 and the songs in the movie. But like someone else said, everyone has their own opinions.
Where's Stayin’ Alive with John Travolta?..The sequel to Saturday Night Fever?..😂
Grease with john Travolta was the best
I had Howard the Duck on VHS and watched it probably 40 times. Not since 1990 probably lol
Wow you really threw 1984 under the bus and put 1985 on a pedestal. '84 had more hits than '85: Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Temple Of Doom, Karate Kid, Footloose, Beverly Hills Cop(which you incorrectly said was from '85). You even mention '85's Jewel Of The Nile yet don't mention '84's Romancing The Stone which was a bigger hit. Tho I do agree both Rhinestone and Fever Pitch suck lol.
Yahoo Serious can GET IT
In the Spanish version of Masked Singer, Bo Derek was one of the contestans. And Ana Obregón was one of the judges. The both worked in "Bolero". And Ana Obregón had the audacity to say it was a great movie. Also, unrelated but se had a son with the sperm of her dead son.
LOVE GREASE 2!
I used to think Jaws 3d was a fever dream i half remembered! Bcuz i saw it on HBO both with and without 3d( i was lik)
If you end up doing Most awful movies of the 1990's, you can start with Bonfire of the Vanities.
Battlefield Earth
Lol. I barely remember that. Melanie Griffin is awful...is that the movie?
Yes, MG was in it.
A couple of other awful movies, besides BE
Catwoman
Highlander II, The Sickening
You should change the title to box office bombs because a lot of these films are irrefutably great.
I love Rhinestone, although Sylvester Stallone hates it I love it. I wish it would make a blu ray release I have it on DVD which is the best next thing.
Uncle buck kick ass
I loved Rhinestone!! and Grease 2!
How can you shit on 1984? Spinal Tap, Amadeus, Terminator, Ghostbusters, Karate Kid, Gremlins, Beverly Hills Cop was 84 not 85 (and had a DeLorean in it a full year before Back to the Future), and plenty more.
Enjoy your choices. Can't disagree. I will say Rocky 4 was awesome! Just sayin'.
As a kid I absolutely loved Mac and me
Young Einstein was brilliant!
Rocky IV was n the middle of the Cold War. Tensions were so high I remember people cheering as if it were a real fight! Gotta disagree. But still respect the list!
Howard the Duck is one of my favorite movies!
Howard the Duck kinda grows on you over time
Yahoo Serious did a second film called Reckless Kelly in 1993 oh Young Einstein is a 1988 movie.
I love the movie grease two
When Blame it on Rio comes out of your mouth, it better come out with more respect!
I still love Grease 2 & Rhinestone is awesome!
Grease 2 was awful.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc I thought it was better then the first. Story line was better to me.
I felt that the movie producers could have picked someone better than Maxwell Caulfield.
Drinkingstein is something beautiful
Grease 2 was the worst
Leonard Part 6 was pretty awful.
Grease 2 was awesome lol
know an actor who knows Maxwell Caulfield and says he readily admits when he was cast in Grease 2, it went right to his head and Maxwell became a spoiled brat and asshole to everybody and when the film bombed, nobody wanted anything to do with him. He did a few crappy movies, some tv but mostly did theater. Also, married to his best friend, a Lesbian 20 yr older than him and he's def gay. Great stories.
actually, you’re wrong about him
Caulfield has been married since 1980 to actress Juliet Mills, daughter of actor Sir John Mills and writer Lady Mills (née Mary Hayley Bell), and is a brother-in-law of Jonathan Mills and actress Hayley Mills. Caulfield is stepfather to Melissa (née Miklenda; Mills' daughter from her second marriage) and Sean Caulfield (born Sean Alquist; Mills' son from her first marriage).[14][2]
@@JohnH20111 He married his best friend. Max is totally gay, bro. Been married for 20plus years to his best friend, the perfect beard. Grow up. He married a woman 20 yrs older than him. Was a male hustler in his late teens early 20s. Give me a break. SMH. My very gay friend knew him personally.
God, looking back on the 80's, I LOVED Under the Rainbow, but it was a horrible movie. I'm guessing that perhaps maybe Princess Leia running around in a bra and slip probably made me enjoy it a bit more back then.
👍👍
I liked Who's That Girl.
Ishtar and Howard the Duck sucked.
Supergirl and Blame it on Rio were not terrible movies!
Troll 2 absolutely awful 😂
Omg rocky 4 is awesome wtf
All yo years are off some of ur 84s are 83s most of ur 85s are 84s Beverly Hills cops was 84 Eddie Murphy made Best Defense in 85 a flop get yo yrs right & Grease 2 was a classic.
First Id watch Ed the Duck 1Million times again before Marves Eternals or Wokekonda Forever no Black Panta.. And most of those films flopped because they were not made for anyone they were made for everyone wanna see how not picking the Boys Girls correctly targetted films watch Disney FLOP hard time and time again TODAY
This is the subject that alerted me to the fact that something monumental had changed in history. Every generation hitherto had chosen to remember its good movies and forget about its bad ones. But this and all subsequent generations keep the tightest hold onto memories of its worst entertainment experiences. I've never understood that.
I would say the bad movies have some merits as well.
How about The Hulkster in No Holds Barried it's worst than Howard the Duck,Isthar and both Superman 3 and 4.
Howard the Dolt was embarrassing.
When WWF showed the music video for No Holds Barred, it told the entire story and spoiled the movie, so I didn't have to go see it, lol.
Superman III is a good movie, Superman IV isn't great but has its moments.
Rhinestone is a funny movie
Love grese tew
Get a life!!! Beverly Hills Cop is still the best movie!!! It's the one movie where the actor just was himself!!! It beats the original script where it was supposed to be another Rambo movie and Jennifer was a love interest. That told Eddie Murphy, this is what is going to happen the rest just do what you did on SNL!!! This movie does NOT belong on this list!!! Neither does Uncle Buck!!!
Wrong! Howard The Duck was a GREAT movie.
Grease 2 is better than the original. Better soundtrack. Better characters. Yeah, I said it. Come at me
Likes "Grease 2" and trashes "Uncle Buck" . You might be the worst movie critic that's ever lived.
he didnt say Uncle Buck is bad, he said he loves it, watch again
fun fact howard the duck also became howard the phoenix.. how cool is that.. dont rag on howard the duck man...
Howard the duck was good
