Shaddad bin Aus narrates:
The Prophet ﷺ, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
“The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is:
اللّٰهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي،
لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ،
خَلَقْتَنِيْ وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ،
وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ،
أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ،
أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ
وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِيْ،
فَاغْفِرْ لِيْ،
فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوْبَ إِلَّاأَنْتَ
Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa anta, Khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka,
wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa‘dika mastata‘tu,
a‘udhu bika min sharri ma sana‘tu,
abu-u laka bini‘matika ‘alaiyya,
wa abu‘u laka bidhanbi
faghfirli,
fa-innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta
O Allah,
You are my Lord;
There is no Diety except You.
You created me and I am Your servant.
And I abide by Your oath and promise [that I may honour it] to the best of my ability.
I seek refuge with You from every evil I have committed.
I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin,
so forgive me,
for surely there is no one who can forgive sins except You.
(Sahih al-Bukhari)

The Messenger (ﷺ) said:
If one of you finishes from the last Tashahud ,
then he should seek refuge with Allah
from four things : he says:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ
مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْر،
وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ،
وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ،
وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسيحِ الدَّجَّالِ
Allaahumma ‘innee a’oothu bika
min adhaabil-qabr,
wa min ‘adhaabi Jahannam,
wa min fitnatil-Mahyaa wal Mamaat,
wa min sharri Fitnatil-Maseehid-Dajjal
O Allah, I take refuge in You
From the punishment of the grave,
And from the torment of the Fire,
And from the trials and tribulations
of life and death
And from the evil affliction of
Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjal

Shaitan's Salad is my devil. Kind of like my shadow. Some he controls through addictions. And addictions come in many different forms. Most all have a cost. rather to ones, physical or mental health, their faith, or their wallet. Some though, what they are addicted to helps them out and being off it is something they don't want to go back to. Got no problem of the title of pothead. Been on it exactly a year today. Many just have a misunderstanding of what this stuff is and how THC works in the brain and body. Just what they are told by others. And I was put on it cause mine is medical marijuana. I'm still a daily heavy user, but I kind of have to be for what it is treating. Yet, many say it is still a major sin. Allah knows why I use it and what it is doing for me. He also knows what is in our hearts and only He will judge us. Not shaitan, some imam or scholar, and not even The Prophet himself. Only Allah has that right over us.

Unless you have have a legit medical condition like seizures ect… for example …it’s recreational use and in this case, it’s definitely an intoxicant. I would know, I used to be a “pothead” myself for the longest tin. Only you and Allah knows like you said but in case it’s the latter, tread carefully on justifying it, if I’m wrong may Allah forgive me. Anyways keep making Dua to help you in your test as to us all. May Allah guide you brother, take care.
Shaytaan is very real every sec of every sec. Now people are shaytaan there self. Be careful he influenced me some many times to do haram and i did. And nearly lost my life because my imam was weak. but allah saved me so many times, allahwakbar. May allah forgive me and all the people that shaytaan misled. Prey my fellow Muslims. Allahwakbar allah is the light. I follow allah 🙏 for allah. ❤❤❤❤
