Virtues of fasting on Mondays and Thursdays Abu Qatadah al-Ansari narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays. He ﷺ said: “On that day I was born, and on it the Revelation came to me.” (Narrated by Muslim, 1162) ‘Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Prophet ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 745; al-Nasai, 2361; Ibn Majah, 1739; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1044) Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Deeds are shown (to Allah) on Mondays and Thursdays, and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 747; classed as saheeh by al-Albani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1041)

The Prophet ﷺ said If one of you finishes from the last Tashahud, Then he should seek refuge with Allah from four things: he says: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ، مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْر، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسيحِ الدَّجَّالِ Allaahumma ‘innee a’oothu bika, min ‘adhaabil-qabr, wa min ‘adhaabi Jahannam, wa min fitnatil-Mahyaa wal Mamaat, wa min sharri Fitnatil-Maseehid-Dajjal O Allah, I take refuge in You, From the punishment of the grave, And from the torment of the Fire, And from the trials and tribulations of life and death, And from the evil affliction of Al-Maseeh Ad-Dajjal (Sahih Al Bukhari )

Shaddad ibn Aws narrates that the Prophet ﷺ said; "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is to say the following dua. If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; And if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.” اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُك وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلا أَنْتَ Allahumma anta Rabbi la ilaha illa Anta Khalaqtani wa ana abduka, wa ana ‘ala ahdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu, A’udhu bika min Sharri ma sana’tu, abu’u Laka bini’matika ‘alaiya, wa Abu’u Laka bidhanbi faghfirli fainnahu la yaghfiru adhdhunuba illa anta O Allah! You are my Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but You. You created me and I am Your slave, And I am faithful to my covenant and my promise as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from all the evil I have done. I acknowledge before You all the blessings You have bestowed upon me, And I confess to You all my sins. So I entreat You to forgive my sins, for nobody can forgive sins except You. (Sahih Al-Bukhari )

Last Ramadan, I kept praying to Allah for a better Job, I was so desperate, I barely had the money to afford anything. I kept praying and it felt like Allah is not listening. After months og praying, I felt like a failure and decided to move back to my country. I was sitting in my hometown feeling like a complete loser, when an employer called me and straight up offered me a Job, I hadn’t even applied. He found me on LinkedIn, I had never even updated my LinkedIn. They made me move back to the country. I got promoted in just under a month, all my prayers were answered. And the timing was just perfect. Never doubt Allah’s plan, truly AllahuAkbar.

Ways to earn good deeds Continuesly even after death Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ) Said:👇🏿 When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for 3 things: 1. Sadaqa Jariyah (Continuous Ch*rity) 2. Knowledge which will benefit others 3. A righteous child who prays for him." Sahih Muslim 4223 more ways 1. Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Every time they read from it, you gain. 2. Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it, you gain. 3. Teach someone to recite a Dua. 4. Sharing islimic content 5. Participate in building a Mosque. 6. Place a water cooler/ well in a public place. 7. Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or animal sits in its shade or eats from it. 8. And the easiest of all, share this message with people. Even if one person applies any of the above, you gain. Also share with others

Aws bin Aws narrated: "Allah's Messenger said to me: 'Whoever performs Ghusl on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early, gets close and listens and is silent, there will be for him in every step he take the reward of a year of fasting and standing (in prayer).'" Whoever abandons three friday prayers out of neglect, Allah will put a seal on his heart.” Al Jami At Tirmidhi Hadith No. 500., Sunnan of Abu Dawood Hadith No. 1052).

Shaqiq bin Salamah reported: Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) used to preach to us once every Thursday. A man said to him: "O Abu 'Abdur-Rahman, we love your talk and we wish that you preach us every day." He said: "There is nothing to prevent me from doing so, but I don't lest I bore you. I follow the same method in preaching to you that Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) adopted in preaching to us for fear of boredom." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. عن أبى وائل شقيق بن سلمة قال‏:‏ كان ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه يذكرنا في كل خميس، فقال له رجل‏:‏ يا أبا عبد الرحمن، لوددت أنك ذكرتنا كل يوم، فقال‏:‏ أما إنه يمنعني من ذلك أني أكره أن أملكم وإني أتخولكم بالموعظة، كما كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يتخولنا بها مخافة السآمة علينا‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏ ‏.‏
