Enough of the silly comments, awesome bike glad you’re getting out and enjoying riding it as long and you eventually start shifting you’ll be doing great have fun with it !
Hi Aklipi. Hows the practice going with the tips that i suggested your other video? This looks like a more skill level-appropriate trail for you to work with. You could go a little more challenging too, but maybe not ready for the rougher trail in your other vid yet. Keep going man, your doing well. Take as much (positive) tips from other commenters as you can. We've all been where you are now, only years before you. And when your skill gets to where we are, there will be other newbies who could use your advice too. Was out riding in some more technical trails the other day in fun muddy swampy stuff, and another thing i thought of for you when i noticed you riding the clutch alot in your harder trail vid, was that youlle need to learn to "feather" the clutch on steeper, slower and trickier terrain, especially when you get to more technical single trails. Not yet, but keep it in mind as you progress. But one thing you could apply now, is if you find your front wheel slips into a rut, dont try and ride up out of the rut, just stay in it and ride thru it. And if the bike slides of jumps sideways or reacts different than you anticipated... go with it. Dont fight the bike. Relax your shoulders and grip a little and just flow with it rather than wrestle with it. That tip came to me to tell you the other day when i was sliding all over the place in swamp, mud, and clay and deep holes lol ...it was so much fun. Enjoy 😎👍from Aussie land.
Hi Gypsy Steve! Thank you for the great advice as always. I went out last weekend riding on some easier trails and I had a blast! I was riding for 5 hours straight without falling once! It was really a lot of fun, and throughout the day I was able to get a little better and try out new things instead of recovering from constant falls. I tried standing a lot more and leaning side to side like you suggested which really helped with traction, and allowed me to go much faster. I'm really looking forward to going out again tomorrow and Sunday and riding the trails again. I already feel like I am getting better, but practice makes perfect! I want to learn more about the proper way to use the clutch so I can do more technical tracks and pop some wheelies. Australia sounds amazing, and I've always wanted to visit. maybe one day you could post some of your videos? even short clips would be very interesting to watch. Thank you for your support, Aklipi
