- Went for a short day tour to Iloilo City and enjoyed the sights and especially the food! Then check out the newest upcoming business park along Manduriao district and then visited the churches. It was a fantastic short day trip to Iloilo and seeing the old historic buildings made me appreciate preservation. I did not go into in depth details since I was hoping that personally visiting Iloilo is more worth it. The highlight of my trip was the Jaro Cathedral and Ayala land's Atria Park District.

Of all the iloilo vlogs, this is my all time favorite. You music called parade reminds me of all the time me and my only son spent in the streets of jaro. We were walking around,then, looking for a place to stay as he was about to take an entrance exam the next day at central philippine university.it was the best of times. Thank you.sir Dmitri.

After watching this video, I had a sense of history coming alive in Iloilo City. Your joyride was very interesting where you went to see the old churches, family ancestral homes, and the historic downtown area. I liked it very much. Those places you traveled to has told the story about what was like in Iloilo City generations ago. Those places are so maganda to enjoy. I'm sure with care and maintenance, the historic structures included in the video (as well as the photos) will keep telling the same stories to future generations. Even though the video was rather lengthy, I have seen many facets of this Visayan city. In fact, this is the second Visayan joyride that I viewed after seeing the one you did in Cebu City. Iloilo City is a world away from Metro Manila. Salamat for sharing this part of Philippine history. I hope to visit the city soon and see all that for myself.

Iloilo the land of my grandparents on both sides. My Lola is a Villanueva and the Campos from My dad. Such a very rich and very cultured city . Long live Iloilo and the rest of Panay.

my Lola is also Villanueva from Navalas, Buenavista, Guimaras and my Lolo is Paderna from Passi City, Iloilo
but I don't know if the Villanueva Buildings are ours. Maybe different people but the same Surname... hahaha

This Villanueva Heritage House is still standing and intact, he last time I had glanced into it was way back in the early 1960's, that was 56 years ago when I was studying Engineering at Lapaz ILOILO CITY COLLEGES (ICC).

Iloilo is the only city that can rival Vigan's beauty.

Marriot hotel relocated from Cebu to Iloilo, they just couldnt compete with the emerging budget hotels here. Ayala Group has taken it back to make it into a better hotel with a different name.
Hopefully you'll visit again and do an update video in 2025.

That province scares me specially the outskirts have heard of so many scary stories. It's not in my bucketlist. Love the old ancestral houses you showed here though. Glad to know you stayed within the city limits.

In my colleges years in Iloilo I frequently toured J.M. Basa ( formerly Calle Real) in the old days, hoping to see pretty girls roaming around the City. When ever I have time and money I go there after class. I was not born rich so I have to live with the allowance my parents can afford. On those times, I can't even afford to date a girl see a movie and have refreshment after so life was tough on me and I enjoyed my college years. Girls will not go with you for date when you are dirt poor. What I do is ligaw tingin na lang

Timothy Aguinaldo Wow... I don't know about you, but you sounded like you're demanding on getting videos from the uploader as if you're entitled to. That would be fine if you're directly funding the channel, but if you're not, then you don't have the right to that. The uploader has every right to post what and when as he likes it to in this case, you just have to wait for the next update or saying "please" would help. Maybe he is editing or filming it now? He has other obligations to fulfill you know? This is not his full time occupation. Also, if you look at his other videos, he emphasizes on other parts of the country as much as the NCR because he meant to feature a joyride across different parts of the country, not just the Metro. I'm not trying to stick up for the uploader, but I just wanted to say something about this and let you know what the uploader might feel about this. I am very sorry but,unfortunately I did not enjoy this video as it was moving much to fast for me (made me dizzy).How is anyone supposed to read and watch the video at the same time??????????????? I,m sure that I would have enjoyed it much better if it was at least a little slower and with voice over instead of reading on the screen. I was looking forward to seeing a video of ILoilo City as I had planned to visit that City for a while when I go to the Philipinnes in the near future.
