So good to see Nissan coming back! Always had a soft spot for Nissan, my first car was a 96 Maxima and that engine was bulletproof!
Mine was a 97 GLE 😂
My dad had one ☝🏻 black, manual. She was a beast and definitely bullet proof
Mine was a hand me down Chevy cavalier....yeah it was garbage and had faulty connections it died last time on my way from work then got a cruze that last 10 years now got a 22 colorado gonna trade it fir 23 much improved update
I'm genuinely so glad I found ya channel Joe..you and Lori have saved me from being bored all the time😅
I can see why manufacturers want to make special editions of their vehicles. People will always want to feel like they got something a little different or better than standard and impart that sense of exclusivity.
You are so very right about that Toby!
Actually this is a cheap way nissan has of bringing back the Exterra but without making a whole new car that might fail.
@@joshuazamora6307 they already make the Xterra, although it’s only in Asian markets
Same thing with special event car sale 1960s 1980s
@@joshuazamora6307 Xterra? This isn't even close in capabilities
Another great review, Joe and as always great job behind the lens by Lori. I really dig this new Pathfinder's two-tone looks and utility. Not to mention it's so rugged that Nissan didn't bother putting the electrical assist for the tailgate.
We can't do it without your support!
Wannabe 4runner
Joe and Lori, crushing out the great content like always! Thanks!
You are so great David!
Great stuff Joe! Glad to see Nissan making improvements as well. Good looking vehicle. Thanks for bringing it to us!
Growing up my aunt owned a few Pathfinders and they were so good and so comforting and if I was considering a Nissan crossover it would be the Pathfinder hands-down
You are the most detailed in info on youtube . I really look forward to your videos Joe..your humor with the rest of the details makes it extra awesome! i'm a new Sub but so glad i found you.
Thanks for being part of the Raiti's Rides family! I really appreciate your support!
@@RaitisRides Your welcome Joe.
Eric
I'm glad that the Pathfinder got rid of the CVT and got the 9 spd auto, Great SUV! Joe and Lori deliver the goods Awesome!
you're late to the party about the cvt.
Love your content. Can't wait to see what else Nissan has for us in 2023
I just fell in love with this rock creek edition pathfinder, oh god look at that big glossy black front end...
Oooooooooh myyyyyyyy gaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwd its New York Auto Show Tiiiiiiiime!!! Always a good time!!! Have a blast man!!! Looking forward to all the coverage of all the show vehicles!!! 👍🏾 Joe and Lori!!!! Best in the biz!!!
Joe, Lori, I'm sorry and not sorry for bing watching your reviews lol. I'm in the market for a new family car and omg... this is beautiful. Love the exterior! Can't wait for you guys to give us a full review. This is a top contender with the new Palisade Caligraphy. It all comes down to the $$$ now.
As always great review joe ur the best
Thanks Jose! I can't do it without you!
It's always good to have options, a higher suspension would've been great. Nissan is doing good things!
Wow!!!! I really love the brand-new 2023 Nissan pathfinder. Also I consider as an nissan fan of their products especially this one. Also this will be my top pick over it's competition, Because this vehicle is well-design from the outside and I will show this vehicle to my friends and family as well. Overall, fantastic job and review joe.
It’s not brand new. 2022 was the new model.
Joe I love your dedication and hard work
You guys deserve the best!
Joe and Lori put out the most content! Their work ethic is unmatched 💪
@@James-il3tq agreed
Not too keen on the fake headlight area but everything else looks great! Those rims and tires definitely make this pathfinder look more rugged and would be my choice of trim if I were to get a pathfinder. Great job yall! I need an on throttle video with the new Nissan Z🔥🔥🔥
Totally redesigning this pathfinder looks amazing. This Rockcreek edition looks insane.great job Nissan
I always liked the pathfinder but I don’t know how to feel about the updated headlight area still. I can definitely get pasted it with how everything else is though. I’d still give it a solid 7/10.
Not to shabby of a rating!
@@RaitisRides Gotta give credit where it’s do.
Yeah that’s a spot on rating, looks wise I think it’s modern enough, but man Nissan needs to step up their infotainment game!!! You’re starting to look like Toyota out here, they could learn a thing or two from the Kia’s and Hyundais of the world with the all digital dash and the bigger center screens, these are starting to look so dated for a 2023!! Just my 2 cents
Lol what.
I love it Joe and Lori and keep up the great work 💪 real true and I love the video lot real true 👍 💯💯💯💯💯
I love the hip that it has near the rear wheels. Reminds me of the old Mitsubishi Montero blister fenders
I can totally see that Adam!
Thank you for the show TWINKIE!! 😂😂 I only watch your auto-show every single of them. I’m your biggest fan following your shows. Not boring to watch like the others but it’s Fun and it’s cool funny as always like you. 👍😂GoodjobTWINKIE😂👍
Thanks for bringing this one Joe.
You are so very welcome! I have way more to come.
Always great reviews
5:28 I like the way Joe always says something crazy in his videos... 😂🤣😅
I am so glad that I can bring it all to you!
awesome video man!!
Thanks brother! I can't do it without Lori!
Thank you for this review. This edition is Bad A**. Love your content and channel.
Love the body color, wheels and tires! Desperately needs a 1-2" lift from its current 7.1" ground clearance!
That actually raised it 5/8th of an in.
@@RaitisRides what is name of this color????
Ask and you shall receive!! Here at Raiti's Rides. Literally just dropped a comment about this one this morning and here it is. Also fun fact, all 2023 Rock Creeks come standard with 4WD. Unlike the previous generation. Can't wait to start seeing these at the dealership
Dear automakers, when you make off-road editions of vehicles there are few buyers that want gloss black all over the place. Thanks for the review!
Nissan is always my best 3 row SUV. Thank you Joe for an awesome video.
Nice review as usual . Can you please tell me if they have the Z06 at the Javitz , if they do I’ll stop by there over the weekend ?
Nice car, funny to see the water bottle in the end! Keep hydrated Joe! A lot of work ahead! Hehe
For people want a rugged off road pathfinder this is a nice choice. Not many suvs in this class has an offroad trim. I like it
Excellent ways to look at it.
Got a 2022 SV, not much is different. Still loving it.
Whatever the criticism, I'll always be a nissan fan. Finger crossed for a new Xterra to be released soon!
No reason they couldn’t do it on the F Alpha platform as a competitor to the 4 Runner.
I think we should get this Pathfinder in Europe.
At a Nissan dealer buying a 2022 platinum pathfinder, in the finance office signing the contract, and this pops up! 😳🤨
They should of really had a power lift gate on this. Otherwise I totally dig this trim level option.
It's ridiculous that they don't.
Good camera work as always, Lori.
Hey Raiti's Ride I want to visit the auto show but how do you know when and where is the location of the Auto show in North America?
Appreciate the upload...
Thank you so much for saying that!
Needs a bit of a lift, better front bumper with approach angle improved & same on rear bumper. Hate the fake grill cutouts on the front bumper you pointed out. They could have fit some nice off-road lights there.
Hi joe, Nissan is my favorite manufacture 🤩🤩
Definitely dig the vehicle, hopefully they can further entice with an interesting powertrain like a diesel or 48V mild hybrid. But while I'm writing this, is anyone else curious about where the black paint ends (or the body color begins) in that rear pillar? Makes no sense.
Thanks for letting me share this one with you.
That’s the coolest 😎SUV from Nissan ever.🤩🤩🤩
Did Nissan put a drain plug in that cargo area so I can fill it with Ice cold beer for tailgating and it would be nice to undo a drain plug for the melting ice?
@RaitisRides where did you locate the engine cover? I just bought a Rock Creek and it didn't come with one. I spoke with several dealerships and they said that the 2023 does not come with an engine cover. Was this put on by you guys?
I’m in love with this trim …
I meant to add this to my last comment, when showing new rides, I get your showing us how that ride was spec'd, example, that pathfinder did not have ventilating seats, Id like to hear & know if it's available as an option, that ride was grey, are there any new colors for the 2023 model or colors that are specific for the rockcreek edition? Nissan is big on using bose audio on some of trim levels IE; platinum's but also available as an option, on some of there units. So is bose available for the rockcreek edition? Also when you were showing the front of the pathfinder, if looked like there were fog lamps, but no mention of it. Be nice to know if they were standard, or an option. Are they condesant lamps, or led's. I guess when showing rides especially new trimlevels, it would be nice to hear from you say the following. On this Spec that Im showing you, the following is or what comes standard. & all of the non-Standard available options are these. I'd appreciate knowing that, rather, than twinkie & poptart capacities. Just sayn. Thanks.
Is the passenger seat abnormally low like the other 2022 Nissan Pathfinder? Do they have the option to raise the seat? That is a horrible design flaw in my current 22 Pathfinder. It's so low that you can't use the sun visor.
Mall creek package should be one of them, soccer creek, etc creek. Talking to your friends and neighbors i got the creek package from Nissan.
Lol
Looks great
They upped the ante!
A very competent, fairly conservative design. Should be very competitive, as this is one of Nissans longest running winning vehicles.
I totally agree with you!
In the 90s everyone wanted one but this one is just ok. It’s not a 4Runner and it’s not a telluride but it’s something in the middle
@@Mr99Burns Nissan as a brand is fairly lost. When they attacked their former CEO Ghosn, and put him on lengthy trial in Japan, where he escaped by being smuggled out, they just seem on autopilot, with no good leadership, and good get into big trouble. You can't run a big company without a strong leader.
Both interior and exterior looks pretty nice.
I think you hit the nail on the head!
2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition is the best car.❤
This SUV worth the buy now better looks and design, ditched the CVT + added a Rock Creek for 2023 perfect to buy one of these. I see Nissan is doing amazing job it took a while but see this brand is heading up with Mazda and Hyundai. They even recommended the Sentra as the best car same with the Rogue got a feeling Nissan will be more reliable in next couple of years new lineups are amazing time work on the Maxima start adding 9 spd autos to most vehicles.
Nice review, I would of liked to here the following from you, choice of colors, and if there are specific colors just for that model. Although this trim is not lifted, did nissan enhance the suspension for those that actually want to take it off road, rather than just looking like a poser. Also you mentioned new engine, more horsepower & more torque, thats awesome, how does it compare in fuel economy, is there a significant sacrifice?
Oooh you're at the Auto show! What color Z do they have their btw?
The yellow and blue.
It’s funny how people that review cars make a big deal about towing. My 2006 Nissan Pathfinder was rated for 6500 pounds.7 years later you actually loose 500 lbs 🤷🏻♂️
great advice, dont get hangry on the family trips LOL
Flat black would’ve been better for the front grill instead of gloss for a off road
That is a very good.
No kidding ... glossy rims also a bad idea.
Good info, but I like my SL Premium, great video tho, only incorrect part is he said you can fit a full plywood sheet in the pathfinder. That sir is a lie, you can not.
My 2019 Honda CR-V AWD has a stock ground clearance of 8.2 in., 2023 Pathfinder 7.2 in.
You know what would be nice though? if they make 2 row version. Kind of like Honda does with Passport. And call it... I don't know... "Extera" maybe?
I love the way that you are thinking!
Nissan is really coming out with some nice vehicles lately.
You are so very right Mike!
Thank you !! Nice Truck!! NY Auto Show!!
Thanks man!
I'm gonna zonk those incandescent blinkers, kinda outdated, but otherwise it's a pretty sick SUV!
Very good call Dylan.
Yeah i really love the New technology of #NISSAN PATHFINDER. It looks so nice part by part and the interior very good. Love this car 😘😍
I am so glad that you are digging this one.
Am loving it gud job Nissan well done
I currently have 2015 Pathfinder Platinum, one thing I always miss is lower ground clearance, even 2023 model, they did not increase. It should be at least 10 inch, otherwise what type of off-road capability?
Soft-roader capability. I call it a Softroader anyway. Don't get me wrong I like the Pathfinder and bought one for my wife as a family suv. If you changed bumpers and added ground clearance it could handle some more stuff. The 4wd system looks plenty capabile to me. If the drivetrain especially the transmission and 4wd hold up I think the 23 pathfinder will be really popular.
10 inches is a bit excessive for this class. 8-8.5 inches would have been nice though.
Joe, you and Lori are literally my favorites.
I have to test drive this Pathfinder before I can give you my thoughts on the 9-Speed Transmission.
We'll all be eagerly awaiting your opinion of the 9spd transmission.
Wow this new SUV is so awesome
Nissan really did the business.
Way way better looking than the outdated Toyota 4Runner. So much better paint. Better tech. Better engine. Just much better and less money.
looks good but ground clearance is not enough for a serious off roading, even with a light off roading that front bumper cover air dam will easily contact the loose rock! please make the ground clearance at least 9" high on approach.
Raitis ride has to be the hardest work team in the game. One day they're in California, the next day they're in new York!
Our schedule has really been all over the place! Thanks for letting us share our hard work with you!
I wish they would've also made an option to have a bench seat for the second row. That's the only downside of this edition and its making a very easy decision of getting this a little more difficult
That is a very good point!
Very nice i would like to see the Nissan badge blacked out, also i hate gloss black.
Now we are talking!
Nice Pathfinder guys!
They did a fantastic job!
@@RaitisRides Yes they did amazing. Will you review a Genisis G90 2023?
Wowwww that car is awesome
Thanks for letting me bring it to you Anthony!
@@RaitisRides no problem I would own one of those
Cada vez mas femeninas la ediciones de todas las camionetas. Extraño los viejos tiempos
I like this kind of new Pathfinder! Looks like It enters the competition with the new Subie Outback Wilderness and the other off-road SUVs. Do you know how many of those Rock Creek edition Pathfinders are gonna be made Joe?
Dose that front camera wipes itself?
Oh and this Saturday I’m going to be in the NY auto show
You are going to love it for sure!
@@RaitisRides yeahhh
Hey Joe, by any chance do you know if Nissan will be coming out with a new design for their Altima? The interior is good, but I feel the outside needs a new refresh look.
Nothing is on the table yet.
@@RaitisRides Thanks for the response brother. 😎
@@JesusChristIsTheOnlyWay It will be refreshed for 2023.
Where are the links you promised? Thanks.
How do you think this does in comparison to the Kia Sportage x pro prestige?
The Telluride is larger.
it got 9 speed torque converter automatic transmission with very reliable 3.5 v6 engine. this is my next off road suv over cheaply built toyota highlander . great job nissan.
No CVT? Finally I can start looking at Nissan as an option. Kind of liking this SUV but not enough to make it an easy choice over the competition.
You can fit some fresh baked Cookies 🍪 in that door panel with a nice tall glass of Milk to wash it down. I Love the Back of this Pathfinder. Since it's off road focused, I can forgive the fake vents in the front. But it would've been nice if they were fully Functional. I use to Hate Nissan until I went on a test drive. It's climbing my Ladder 🪜 of Vehicle brands to give a look at (when it comes to making a Purchase).
Thanks for letting me share some fun and the SUVs with you!
Great looking vehicle…………the telluride is as well. Thanks Joe and Lori
It looks pretty pretty good.
I agree with you Omar!
Great Pathfinder.
I like the Pathfinder package as it is presented but this Rock Creek edition is going to put it into Infiniti QX60 price territory and I'd rather have QX60 instead even without having all the bells and whistles
I have owned two Maxima’s, 3 Rogues, 1 Altima, 1 Murano and 1 Xterra. All were great vehicles 🚗
Is there a 12 v outlet in the rear?
Will the rock creek edition have a heated steering wheel?
That is a great question Brian!
Is the 2023 Murano changing
Nice!
