Is this the same baby from the haunted star? I know they replaced him before but they brought him back which is great. He definitely remembers Trina from back then ; during the last summer we saw Spencer spend so much time with Ace (thanks to Portia) now we can see Trina spend time with him and can make them get closer . Maybe this could be a way Spencer can be discovered to be alive. Trina can take Ace near the water and Ace ends up finding Spencer's dove. New storyline / adventure for Trina.

TV Line just announced NAC isn’t returning as Spencer Cassadine. I kinda figured as much when they didn’t make an announcement about him returning and it’s been months since his Netflix show wrapped. Trina hasn’t had much of a storyline lately so I’m assuming GH is in the middle of trying to recast Spencer or worse …they might give Trina a new love interest 😭😭 I really hope Tabyana has an exit plan if the writers continue to give her the Esme treatment. She’s way too talented to be used as a prop up for other characters.

I think that Spencer will eventually return as a recast and that Spencer and Trina will be watered down and broken up because the new writers are focused on Joss. I think that it will be a long ten months for Tabyana and Spencer and Trina fans because Tabyana already isn't given much to do, and there are no people of color writing for GH and it shows.

I didn't like the conversation between Trina and Laura. Once again they have written Trina out of character. Most of what the writers had Trina saying was an out and out lie. and rewriting of history once again in my opinion. And the most egregious part of the conversation was Trina telling Laura that she felt that she had pushed Spencer away from her by keeping him away from Ace. But I digress. Child, I read a story online today that said NAC wasn't going back to GH after the Netflix special. Somebody tell me it's not true! I'm not ready for a Spencer replacement! I don't think that Tabyana will be staying on GH past her current contract which expires early next year. She is hardly on GH and the powers that be have shown that they really struggle with Trina and her feelings and her point of view. I think that the writing has been on the wall already for months.
I know whatever NAC does in life he will be amazing and I wish him all the best , but I was holding out hope that he woud come back to GH. I heard that someone from GH was giving him permission to return or something. I guess its confirmed that he wont , maybe us fans can write to the show please ask them to try and get back NAC even until Tabyanan's contract is up. It was good to see Trina and her interact with Laura. It's really beyond gross that the first interaction Laura and Trina have had since Trina's traumatic abduction and Spencer's death is *Trina* apologizing to *Laura* and performing manual labor for her. Every single thing that happened in Paris was Laura's fault. She yet she's never once apologized, checked in with Trina, or tried to make up for being Esme's co-conspirator.

I know that the original Carly Emmy winner Sarah Brown left GH after the powers that be wanted Carly to wear a wire for the FBI to get Sonny in legal trouble. I also know that Brenda quickly divorced Sonny after Vanessa Marcil wanted to leave GH early. I won't be surprised if the new writers use NAC's exit as a way to break up Spencer and Trina eventually because the powers that be seem to be focusing on Joss.

I don't trust the new writers given that Tabyana hasn't been given much to do when NAC has taken his leave of absence. I think that the powers that be will use NAC leaving GH as a way to break up Spencer and Trina eventually because they are so focused on Joss and people watching GH are already upset about Tabyana not getting much screen time and won't put up with a Spencer Cassadine recast. I want Tabyana to leave GH because the powers that be are wasting her time and talent and there are no signs of improvement. Most of GH's young cast members aren't given much to do it's not just Trina/Tabyana.
Honestly, I think it's good for Trina to spend time with Ace. First off, she's helping out Laura. Second, she's a familiar face since Spencer and Esme are gone- atleast for now- and lastly, it's therauputic for Trina since being around Ace probably makes her feel closer to Spencer.
When Spencer and Trina were fighting about him spending so much time with Esme ; it was never about Ace more about Esme ( to Trina). When they fought at Dex's apartment her argument was about Esme and his was about Ace because if Esme moved out then that meant that Ace would be gone too. Spencer couldn't care less where Esme moved to as long as Ace stayed. From the beginning Spencer wanted Esme to live at Kelly's ( now Bobbie's) and have Ace live with him , Laura , and Kevin. Spencer knew that the living arrangement wouldn't last forever , but as long as Ace was around he would put up with it. I guess he was also hoping that Trina would stick it out too , but knew that him spending time with Ace meant he wasn't with Trina ( thanks to Portia). Spencer would love knowing that Trina is taking care of Ace since he's not there to do it himself , and having that bond that he has with Ace. Looks like they already do because he was happy that Trina wanted to spend the day with him. Laura doesn't have a problem with it but realizes Trina wants to keep her connection with Spencer through Ace. Hope they can find a replacement for Chavez soon and bring back Spencer because we need him as much as Trina does. Laura should have apologized to Trina for not acknowledging her and Spencer's relationship and realizing that they were struggling because of Esme and the living arrangement. Plus not supporting them more through the situation instead of supporting Esme , but to Laura's defends I think she only agreed to the living arrangement for Ace. She would say that it was all about Ace and since Esme didn't remember that she should have a fresh start by being a good mother to Ace and put him first like she and Spencer did.
I don't think that Spencer Cassadine will be recast right now because I think that the powers that be at GH want to avoid what happened when they cast Greg Vaughn as Lucky Spencer and it didn't go well and it would be one thing if Tabyana was given screen time and storylines but Tabyana isn't given much to do. Let's be honest about it too, the new writers would more than likely use a Spencer Cassadine recast to water down Trina and Spencer and eventually break them up permanently.
I think that given how Elizabeth Korte rewrote very recent history makes me concerned about what will be will be done with a Spencer Cassadine recast. I also wanted to see Laura be confronted by Trina about how she supported Esme and never really asked about how Trina was doing or offered to have Trina over for lunch or dinner. These scenes with Laura and Ace are too little, too late.
😢 We should be concerned about the facts and history of the love journey and adventures of the Super SPRINA because these writers is trying to erase recent true facts that we all witnessed. The writers cannot duplicate or erase their chemistry and connections. These two young talents actors Aka Nicolas and Tabyana's shared on our TV. It is now sketched in our minds their performances on videos to backup the history.
@ericaellis4983 What normally happens when there's a recast of a soap opera character who is in a romantic relationship that the romantic relationship is broken up over time especially when it involves an interracial couple and usually the woman of color isn't given much to do after the break up and Tabyana already isn't given much to do. NAC fought very hard for Spencer and Trina and Tabyana, and I highly doubt that Tabyana will have the same chemistry with someone else and I think that the new writers are focused on Joss and not Spencer and Trina unfortunately. It is also hard not to notice that for the most part all of the characters who are people of color are currently on the back burner and Curtis's storyline was poorly and awkwardly written to the point where I don't want to see Curtis in another lead storyline and that wasn't Donnell's original intent when he asked for a family for Curtis. The people who shared most of their scenes with Tabyana either aren't on GH at all or are currently on the back burner and things won't go well for Ava once everyone realizes that she knew that Sonny was being under medicated and this show has several young cast members but most of them aren't given much to do unless they are Michael and Joss.

It paints her as someone she’s not. She’s kind and accommodating. There’s an attempt to silence her, while also trying to subtly revise history. My biggest problem is her offering to take care of Ace. I understand her wanting to be close to Spencer through his family, but her even suggesting that she babysit is problematic to me. We never saw her and Laura share scenes during Trina’s relationship with Spencer, yet she’s worthy of Laura’s time when she can be of service. It feeds into a narrative that Black women are caretakers and exist almost solely to serve white families…the optics aren’t good.

I agree. Hopefully, they won't have her being the maid next. Even the dialogue saying she was keeping Spencer away from Ace, which she never did. GH cashed in on this couples ratings and publicity, Tabyana deserves so much better!

i have no doubt that this is just a foot step to hinting that Spencer will be coming home soon to Trina. Ok, I have to say it. I didn't like the conversation between Trina and Laura.
Once again they have written Trina out of character.
Most of what the writers had Trina saying was an out and out lie. and rewriting of history once again in my opinion.
And the most egregious part of the conversation was Trina telling Laura that she felt that she had pushed Spencer away from her by keeping him away from Ace. But I digress.
I like the idea of Trina while she is out of school spending SOME time with Ace, but not to use it as a coping mechanism for her grief.

I don't think that Tabyana will be staying on GH past her current contract which expires early next year. She is hardly on GH and the powers that be have shown that they really struggle with Trina and her feelings and her point of view. I think that the writing has been on the wall already for months.

I know whatever NAC does in life he will be amazing and I wish him all the best , but I was holding out hope that he woud come back to GH. I heard that someone from GH was giving him permission to return or something. If not I hope his replacement looks or resembles and is as talented as NAC .

There has to be GH/abc folks on social media platforms bc I distinctly remember folks n this channel expressing concern as to why Trina wasn’t interacting with Laura after Spencer’s death. It's really beyond gross that the first interaction Laura and Trina have had since Trina's traumatic abduction and Spencer's death is *Trina* apologizing to *Laura* and performing manual labor for her. Every single thing that happened in Paris was Laura's fault. She yet she's never once apologized, checked in with Trina, or tried to make up for being Esme's co-conspirator.

@marshagreen9759 Many actors and actresses leave a soap opera early for a variety of reasons. In this case, it's because NAC wants to work on other projects. I know that the original Carly Emmy winner Sarah Brown left GH after the powers that be wanted Carly to wear a wire for the FBI to get Sonny in legal trouble. I also know that Brenda quickly divorced Sonny after Vanessa Marcil wanted to leave GH early. I won't be surprised if the new writers use NAC's exit as a way to break up Spencer and Trina eventually because the powers that be seem to be focusing on Joss.

I just don’t trust the new writers to give a Spencer Cassadine recast a real chance of success, especially given how they haven't given Tabyana much to do during NAC's leave of absence. The new writers seem to be focusing on Joss.

@@marshagreen9759 I knew that as soon as it was announced that Steve Burton was returning to GH that GH was going to become all about Jason and Sonny and Carly and everyone else was going to be fighting for scraps and this happened before on GH and that wasn't good then and it's not good now. New writer Elizabeth Korte is known to be a fan of Carly's and by extension Joss. I don't trust the new writers given that Tabyana hasn't been given much to do when NAC has taken his leave of absence. I think that the powers that be will use NAC leaving GH as a way to break up Spencer and Trina eventually because they are so focused on Joss and people watching GH are already upset about Tabyana not getting much screen time and won't put up with a Spencer Cassadine recast. I want Tabyana to leave GH because the powers that be are wasting her time and talent and there are no signs of improvement. Most of GH's young cast members aren't given much to do it's not just Trina/Tabyana.

Honestly, I think it's good for Trina to spend time with Ace. First off, she's helping out Laura. Second, she's a familiar face since Spencer and Esme are gone- atleast for now- and lastly, it's therauputic for Trina since being around Ace probably makes her feel closer to Spencer.
They should have let Liz adopt Ace.
When Spencer and Trina were fighting about him spending so much time with Esme ; it was never about Ace more about Esme ( to Trina). When they fought at Dex's apartment her argument was about Esme and his was about Ace because if Esme moved out then that meant that Ace would be gone too. Spencer couldn't care less where Esme moved to as long as Ace stayed. From the beginning Spencer wanted Esme to live at Kelly's ( now Bobbie's) and have Ace live with him , Laura , and Kevin. Spencer knew that the living arrangement wouldn't last forever , but as long as Ace was around he would put up with it. I guess he was also hoping that Trina would stick it out too , but knew that him spending time with Ace meant he wasn't with Trina ( thanks to Portia). Spencer would love knowing that Trina is taking care of Ace since he's not there to do it himself , and having that bond that he has with Ace. Looks like they already do because he was happy that Trina wanted to spend the day with him. Laura doesn't have a problem with it but realizes Trina wants to keep her connection with Spencer through Ace. Hope they can find a replacement for Chavez soon and bring back Spencer because we need him as much as Trina does. Laura should have apologized to Trina for not acknowledging her and Spencer's relationship and realizing that they were struggling because of Esme and the living arrangement. Plus not supporting them more through the situation instead of supporting Esme , but to Laura's defends I think she only agreed to the living arrangement for Ace. She would say that it was all about Ace and since Esme didn't remember that she should have a fresh start by being a good mother to Ace and put him first like she and Spencer did.
I don't think that Spencer Cassadine will be recast right now because I think that the powers that be at GH want to avoid what happened when they cast Greg Vaughn as Lucky Spencer and it didn't go well and it would be one thing if Tabyana was given screen time and storylines but Tabyana isn't given much to do. Let's be honest about it too, the new writers would more than likely use a Spencer Cassadine recast to water down Trina and Spencer and eventually break them up permanently.

I think that given how Elizabeth Korte rewrote very recent history makes me concerned about what will be will be done with a Spencer Cassadine recast. I also wanted to see Laura be confronted by Trina about how she supported Esme and never really asked about how Trina was doing or offered to have Trina over for lunch or dinner. These scenes with Laura and Ace are too little, too late.
😢 We should be concerned about the facts and history of the love journey and adventures of the Super SPRINA because these writers is trying to erase recent true facts that we all witnessed. The writers cannot duplicate or erase their chemistry and connections. These two young talents actors Aka Nicolas and Tabyana's shared on our TV. It is now sketched in our minds their performances on videos to backup the history.
@ericaellis4983 What normally happens when there's a recast of a soap opera character who is in a romantic relationship that the romantic relationship is broken up over time especially when it involves an interracial couple and usually the woman of color isn't given much to do after the break up and Tabyana already isn't given much to do. NAC fought very hard for Spencer and Trina and Tabyana, and I highly doubt that Tabyana will have the same chemistry with someone else and I think that the new writers are focused on Joss and not Spencer and Trina unfortunately. It is also hard not to notice that for the most part all of the characters who are people of color are currently on the back burner and Curtis's storyline was poorly and awkwardly written to the point where I don't want to see Curtis in another lead storyline and that wasn't Donnell's original intent when he asked for a family for Curtis. The people who shared most of their scenes with Tabyana either aren't on GH at all or are currently on the back burner and things won't go well for Ava once everyone realizes that she knew that Sonny was being under medicated and this show has several young cast members but most of them aren't given much to do unless they are Michael and Joss.

@@marshagreen9759 Hey Marsha, I always love your optimism. My issue has nothing to do with Spencer. It’s the writing for Trina. Her calling herself a bitch and now her saying she wasn’t supportive? It paints her as someone she’s not. She’s kind and accommodating. There’s an attempt to silence her, while also trying to subtly revise history.
My biggest problem is her offering to take care of Ace. I understand her wanting to be close to Spencer through his family, but her even suggesting that she babysit is problematic to me. We never saw her and Laura share scenes during Trina’s relationship with Spencer, yet she’s worthy of Laura’s time when she can be of service. It feeds into a narrative that Black women are caretakers and exist almost solely to serve white families…the optics aren’t good.
@nfgc86 I think that the powers that be have shown that they struggle with Trina's point of view and that it is okay for her to feel angry or upset and that Trina shouldn't have to apologize for feeling angry or upset. I know that GH recently Iet go of the writers who are people of color and it really shows in these scenes with Laura and Trina.
