I applied that logic as well. If I’m good at fighting games, I could do this except my fighting game was Tekken. Unfortunately, I had low patience and gave up. Is it just me or is there a slight delay on the QCB (Quarter Circle Back)? I hope there isn’t an input delay on the HCB (Half Circle Back) forward as well.
If anyone is still struggling you can exploit it by changing the button mapping on your dpad to your other buttons. I switched mine to have Right as r1, down as r2, and left as L1. Got it on my 1st try you literally just have to tap the 3 buttons and then x

For Power Intuition lvl3, Roll your thumb from the right d-pad towards the left d-pad in a half circle motion. As if you form a U when you move your thumb. After that quickly spam the right d-pad and X. Got it in 2 tries, only way the game will register is if you do it fast enough.

PSA for all trophy hunters struggling on power intuition: Use remote play on your cell phone! The inputs are much more fluid and you don't need to lift your thumb at all. I got it after many fails on a ds4 with this method on my first attempt.
Took me two tries to beat the last level of Power Intuition. It was the first level that made me want to die because I didn't know what to do. I saw someone mention putting a piece of tissue under your thumb to make it slide better. I resorted to doing that and it worked very well. I just had to get used to the speed.
I finished power intuition thanks to an idea I read online: put your index finger onto the right and down buttons and use the middle finger to press the left one. By using both of them, I got it first try! Using the PS4 controller

@@YashThreeTwoFour This is really late and maybe you already got it but the easiest way is to go to mememtos and just farm the enemies by ambush/fighting the shadows in the earliest levels, really tedious I know but i found this to be the easiest way.

This game is almost flawless save for two trophies: this (Fuck you, Power Intuition) and the Passionate Listener one (250 lines?! REALLY?!). It's as if the guys at ATLUS never learned their lesson from P4G.
a good tip is to just save the game when you have days without interuption on the callendar and do all of these trophies that you dont need for the end game, like the fishing, games, batting cage, etc, then just reload on that save date when you get it, now you have alot of days left for when things dont go your way
If it weren't for Virtua Fighter and Dead or Alive, or Smash Bros Ultimate particularly Terry's special inputs, I wouldn't have beaten this if weren't for my experience in fighting games.

This one was really tough for me. I eventually got through Power Intuition by just trying to do the combo super quick. It's less clicking buttons and more swiveling button. Like, punch out makes you input combos, the extra time helps be exact. Whereas power intuition gives you extra time more so you can try the input again when you inevitable mess up. Took some time to get the hang of it

I know this is late, but if you have a Fightstick that has dpad functionality for the stick then power intuition is pretty simple. I used my Mayflash F500 to do this and nailed it first try. (I picked mine up used for $20 from a homie), i still use it to play Tekken 7 :)
I must be a natural at the power of intuition. It only took me about 30 minutes to complete it, including skipping the story cutscenes. I didn't even cheat and change the buttons.
hey I might be late but I'm a trophy hunter I've known about the person series for some time since the vita days, anyways I never gave it a chance because I really didn't know about it nor did I like the RPG/JRPG genre but people kept saying that they couldn't explain the game but it was fun and really amazing, anyway come January 2020 my friend tells me to play the game he buys it I force my self to play not gonna in dept but I really enjoyed the game and fell in love, even went back on my vita and got persona 4 but after 86+ hours of grinding I finally finished the game, then was ready to platinum it. This might just be the most messed up trophy in the game for those having trouble use a soft slippery cloth I used paper towel it helped get me to the 3rd level then I used my ps vita I really almost completed it then use toilet paper all most finished it I remapped my ps4 controller thanks to someones comment suggestion but found it helpful but too stressful I then stuck to the toilet paper method then removed some strips because I had a tinny roll I used 2 stripes got the trophy and was honestly not that excited just glad that I got it any way that's it I love persona I'm on my second play threw waiting for Royal to hit us so I can devour it
I'm still breathing a sigh of relief that I cleared level 3 after only ten tries (pure luck btw); I was prepared for many more, as it took for lvl 1 and 2 :/ ^Sliding my thumb across the PS4's d-pad was awkward at first, but eventually I picked up the timing for each level, and did my best to keep it/adapted to the sensations. Still, I can only attribute that much to my skill as a gamer, not because I'm any actual good at fighting games...
I wish I would've known about using the vita for power intuition earlier. I was seriously contemplating hooking up my arcade stick just to nail that semi circle forward x combo. Never broke a controller in my life but that damn near broke me.
Kinda funny to see people struggling with the last part of Power intuition. I'm guessing normal motions are harder for most people. Also, doing it on d-pad is the only way for me, but I think they should of programmed it for the analog stick as well.
This trophy was a freaking nightmare for me because of that fighting game iam not good at fighting games at all so i used one hand to do the arrows all 5 of them by the way and twisted them so i would have an easier time to hit the combos and used the other hand to hit the x button and that third level was the worst that combo was so bad it took me hours to figure out how to get my left hand to hit the buttons correctly anyways i hope i never have to do that again for another trophy seriously atlus what were you thinking?

Man I thought this trophy was gonna be hell cuz of what people were saying. I did all the power intuition mini games in one shot. Having alot of experience in fighting games certainly helped I guess
I don't have a Vita, but- Ugh, my brother wasted time failing on Lv2 of Star F. He hasn't read the cheat book yet. Thanks for the info. I'll try to make sure he reads that, then doesn't fail (I'll take over). Then reload if a fail does occur.
The final part of Power intuition stumped me for a bit. I figured out I was hitting the up arrow for no reason. Just quickly move from the left arrow to the right. It's all about thumb placement. Also someone said putting a tissue on the D pad makes it much easier. Anyway, hope this helps.
It took me awhile to finish the first level and the second one with more than 10 reloads, but I did the last one without mistakes for each round lol! Muscle memory, I guess? All I just remember was my thumb was sliding at the buttons way too fast and noticed that I was done with the game. Way too shocked, I even passed the last level lol!
I can’t complete Power Institution to save my live...I’ve tried everything from using tissues to changing my buttons. I can’t get that last right arrow on round three.

Ok so question. To unlock trophies like this along with others like reading all books, etc. Does it have to be in one playthrough? Like can I do only two of the games, finish the game, do new game plus, then continue? Or do I have to beat them all in one game? I'm at 9/6 so I'm sure I have plenty of time but still
Yo, I just got this trophy today. I literally thought power intuition was going to stop me from getting the platinum but persistence paid off, I stuck with it and got that shit beat. Absolutely ridiculous game though lol
I found the d pad movements easy but the timing of pressing x was always terrible. I can’t multitask so when I was trying to spam x while doing the movements it never worked so that’s why I decided to use my toe to spam x while my thumbs do the movements.
I don't think being able to use the left analog would have made Power Intuition any easier, since it seems like it requires nearly perfect, just frame inputs for the 632146 motion (the one on the third level). It only took me a few tries to beat it, but I play a lot of Guilty Gear, especially as Potemkin where you do the same motion to command grab. Still was a pain in the butt, though. Thanks for the guide, I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any games on my NG+ run.
I'm stuck on this because it requires quick precision. Every move is instantaneous to the one before and the sensitivity of the controller for it is naff.
Being someone who casually plays fighters from time to time this wasn't INSANELY hard for me, just annoying. I got it after about 6 tries after figuring out the quarter circle input starts from left to right. Im used to it being down to left or down to right. The backwards inputs fucked me over
I finally finished the power intuition but i had to load again the match for having more days, after that i beat all the games except the one that i already did, but they didn't give me any thropie :(
Tip: Use your Vita when playing this game. It will be much easier.

Analog feels intuitive, but they messed that up. For me it was the fact that sometimes the button presses don't register. Almost broke my tv.....

Yes this trophy really pissed me off too. Atlus was high when they chose to make this a requirement for the trophy

The final part of Power intuition stumped me for a bit. I figured out I was hitting the up arrow for no reason. Just quickly move from the left arrow to the right. It's all about thumb placement. Also someone said putting a tissue on the D pad makes it much easier. Anyway, hope this helps.

It took me awhile to finish the first level and the second one with more than 10 reloads, but I did the last one without mistakes for each round lol! Muscle memory, I guess? All I just remember was my thumb was sliding at the buttons way too fast and noticed that I was done with the game. Way too shocked, I even passed the last level lol!

No you have to beat all games in one playthrough which is a drag
I found the d pad movements easy but the timing of pressing x was always terrible. I can’t multitask so when I was trying to spam x while doing the movements it never worked so that’s why I decided to use my toe to spam x while my thumbs do the movements.

I don't think being able to use the left analog would have made Power Intuition any easier, since it seems like it requires nearly perfect, just frame inputs for the 632146 motion (the one on the third level).
It only took me a few tries to beat it, but I play a lot of Guilty Gear, especially as Potemkin where you do the same motion to command grab. Still was a pain in the butt, though. Thanks for the guide, I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any games on my NG+ run.

Why is everyone saying Power Intuition is hard? It looks pretty easy, and I don't normally play fighting games.
It's hard because, pressing the x button right after is tricky and has a small delay...
I'm stuck on this because it requires quick precision. Every move is instantaneous to the one before and the sensitivity of the controller for it is naff.
Its pretty much impossible to do it with a keyboard.

Being someone who casually plays fighters from time to time this wasn't INSANELY hard for me, just annoying. I got it after about 6 tries after figuring out the quarter circle input starts from left to right. Im used to it being down to left or down to right. The backwards inputs fucked me over
I finally finished the power intuition but i had to load again the match for having more days, after that i beat all the games except the one that i already did, but they didn't give me any thropie :(
