Backwards blocking breakdown

Victorian Roller Derby League had some excellent backwards blocking in their game against Bay Area Derby Girls. Here are three clips that showed how effective their backwards blocking was. In 2/3 clips a solo blocker (#10 Biceptual) was able to pop the jammer over the line and run back to recycle. Although in 1/3 clips the blocker did not end up knocking the jammer out, the blocker was able to stall the jammer for a moment alone which helped to kill the jammer penalty.
Also, pay attention to what the other blockers are doing to help keep the solo backwards blocker in play. Some serious communication at work here.
