I receive 1000s of questions from around the world on Kundalini related problems here is my quick reply.............
If you are able I encourage you to book a Skype session for deeper and specific guidance. In the meantime, I can offer you some basic guidance. The first question is there anything physically wrong with your body? Have you been to a doctor and ruled out a normal medical condition? Unfortunately, most doctors have no understanding of spiritual experiences and often interpret them as mental illness. You must be grounded to navigate through this conversation so that you are not misdiagnosed and put on medication if you do not need it. ..
What you describe in your email, sounds very much like a kundalini awakening. If you are doing any form of kundalini yoga, I would encourage you to stop, especially anything with breathing exercises that will excite the energy within you anymore. Don't focus on the energy, but focus on the space in which the energy is arising. The energy has its own intelligence and it will go where it needs to, do not try to guide it or manipulate it, remember it knows better than you.........Also, this will be difficult but don't overly focus on the energy or become enamored by it. Even though this experience will probably be the most amazing and possibly difficult experience of your life, don't give it too much attention. Relax, relax and investigate your experience:
If you are overwhelmed by energy, the most important thing you can do is to try to relax, and notice the quiet stillness of your awareness, that is here all the time beyond all experiences.....Identify with that quiet, still awareness as yourself and allow all energies and experiences to unfold in the vast space of your awareness, if you do this you will open into a world of freedom...........If, on the other hand, you become too identified with the movements of energy within you, then you will most likely become more confused, deluded and create more suffering for yourself.
Exercise can help, yet do not do anything to excite the energy. Some light gentle Hatha yoga is helpful, although intense yoga practices can excite the energies within and cause a lot of problems..........Go on walks in parks or by the ocean, lay in the grass, spend some time being quiet and don't be afraid of the energy or try to control it. Just relax and notice the energy in your body and do your best to let go and allow whatever is happening to happen.
If your body is contorting, and displaying kriyas or spontaneous yogic asanas, I would advise you to stay inside so that you do not bring attention to yourself....or get taken away to a mental institution.....If the energy is too much, notice the vastness of the sky and try to identify with the vastness of the sky and allow whatever experience you are having to spread out into the vastness of the sky. The experience of anxiety or blockages or pain will one day pass, this may take a day, a month or many years....Whatever is within you that you may view as a "blockage" love it fully, accept it fully, and love it fully and love it fully, unconditionally totally without reservation.........Relax and breathe....
The quicker you can relax and develop a friendly attitude and unconditional love with pain and discomfort the sooner you will find that pain is not pain. The sooner you discover that you do not have to believe the thoughts in your mind, the sooner you will be happy and free, despite whatever thoughts come and go in your consciousness. Relax, relax, relax.
If you meditate, meditate on the vast quiet spaciousness of awareness, notice that the quiet vast spacious presence is here all the time. Notice that the one noticing It, is the vast spacious presence..... That is you. When your mind says this Kundalini experience is too much, too overwhelming, too much energy, just relax and watch this energy unravel in your quiet spacious awareness that you are.
May Peace be with you, and yes I know from the human perspective this experience is totally overwhelming and can turn your life upside down. Do your best to show up for life, don't quit your job or end your marriage. Relax, hang in there, don't believe what you think, you won't die from this experience it is simply an experience that will one day even out and be experienced as tremendous bliss....
If you want to talk with me let me know, I offer Skype sessions with individuals from around the world.

I had a kundalini awakening too when I was young. The age of 13. It took 10 years or so to finally be cleared of all the energy that was blocked in my chakras. I offer any support to people going through it. This is an accurate description of a real kundalini awakening to anyone that hasnt gone through it. It is very scary and very hard to deal with but once it happens YOU CAN NOT STOP IT. A "normal" life isnt easy after this is unleashed. God bless all of you.

I get so many questions about chakras and blockages the short answer is:
basically to have the energy rise smoothly you have to clear out all your chakras, what this basically means is that you have to do all your personal work, which usually takes a good 10 years or a lifetime..... so, honestly we all have skeletons in our closets, shadows etc. To have our kundalini rise without being blocked we have to clean up our lives on all levels.

the most important thing during kundalini awakening is the breath. breathe, be aware of breath, listen to the breath. this is the key aspect in maybe all spiritual experience - no matter how crazy or powerful these experences get, as long as you listen to the breath - if you feel it - you know you are alive and are going to be okay. make it CALM (by holding it in a little while each time, a bit longer every time), try to stay calm, do not be afraid, even if the energy scares you it is only to teach you a valuable lesson. you WILL gain insight. be strong, it is strong as well, it wants to you to be as strong! it wants to show you something important and all you need to do is observe and not attach. i wish everyone who reads this much strength on their spiritual journey! namaste.

One year into a Kundalini Awakening here. The symptoms are unmistakable once it begins. Mine began quite violently and with a lot of fear and resistance on my part. I was very, very fortunate to have known a little about Kundalini prior to the start, otherwise I'd have thought I was going insane. It seems to me that this experience is becoming more and more common as time goes on and that we are in the beginnings of some kind of mass awakening event, possibly caused by stellar conditions. Thank you, Craig, and all those who speak openly and truthfully on this subject.

This is why Kundalini should be prepared for correctly through good YOGA. How this is done is: Good thoughts, good words, and good deeds as a reasonable foundation (if you can't KNOW what that means, GIVE UP NOW). Then it means Yoga of the Bodies, which means PRANA YOGA as I call it, or Qigong, internal and external martial arts, Hatha Yoga, etc. This is the essence of it. One must also practice meditation which reduces the "monkey mind" or EGO MIND, and sublimates the emotions while practicing some TRUE contents of philosophy and religion. One must learn to ACT ACCORDING TO THIS HIGHEST TRUTH MOVING THROUGH YOU, and this is the art of living that DUTY that the Bhagavad Gita reminds us about.

Sheena Russell Make friends with your mind. Just give it some task to do... like climbing a pole for a little while. while you go meditate. The great thing about meditation.. detaching from the busy mind .. is that the more you do it the better you get at it. Keep it short at first... and build up... Just 10 or 15 minutes a day at first is great... but being consistant is very helpful. After a while your mind will look forward to it and see these Time Outs for the gift that they are.
I always find it helpful to prepare.. to set the stage, and create a sacred space.
Perhaps a natural incense such as champa, a plain candle, a flower and a little amethyst or crystal stone on a tray... the process tells your mind.. this is 'quite' time. Personally I love to listen to a Tambora CD .. it is a very calming, drone like sound.... there are even special meditation oils one can use... find one you like .. in this way all the senses become involved.
Traditionally a meditator sits on a small white wool asana or blanket. and perhaps a wool shawl to wrap one's self in. Early morning is traditional but really whatever fits one's schedule. The main thing is to keep your spine elongated and RELAX.
Meditation is a wonderful doorway which connects us to our True SELF.
The REAL Key for me... that made my meditations take off was the living Mantra which I received from my spiritual Master. It was the difference between crawling and flying in a supersonic jet! The Master's Mantra transfers their own intense, spiritual power directly to you. Yea... it's mystical and I would not have believed it if it had not happened to me directly. One is NEVER the same... the Mantra of a Living Master changes one forever. ~ Namaste ~

Craig, Thanks for posting your video. I feel better about my own experience hearing about what other people have gone through. In some ways I think I got off easy. I'm 25 years into this--awakening started back in college. It has been very difficult, especially the first 7 years.
Your advice sounds good. This might be obvious, but I think the way we entered into the experience is also a key to our path and how we are to deal with the difficulties that it brings. For instance, I opened to the energy by going deep into prayer (a practice I started by age 7). During the worst of it, I had to sink my mind deep into the heart to cope.
Coming from a spiritual practice which was emotion-based (devotional), I've had to learn how to temper the emotions and apply philosophical and witnessing methods. I think you have to be extremely careful with whom you work because there are many people who want to mess with your psyche when you are so vulnerable. And no one else really has the answers for you. Also, living a structured, disciplined life can do wonders--acting responsibly, eating right (nothing extreme), exercise (Pilates, yoga, etc), and so forth.
I, too, went down the road of trying to transcend my humanity, and like you, realize it is a futile proposition, but perhaps a necessary stage. If someone wants to mess with kundalini, I recommend they do at least 10-15 years of preparation first, and really lay a solid foundation of ethics and compassion. Otherwise, you'll probably just cause needless trouble to yourself and others. The whole point is to make you a better human in community with others.

I had the most beautiful experience when I went to detox from pain meds. I'm a Reiki 3. I did a healing on my self and had a weird thing happen to me that night. The next day I started doing deep breathing exercises to help with enxiety. I went into a trance in which a Native American spirit took over. I had a huge emotional release and my body started to re-adjust its self. I could feel the energy move through my meridians and up towards my crown chakra. It lasted for 2 hours then stopped. I couldn't make it stop until it was done. My body kept adjusting its self for 2 weeks. The energy was enormous. I could see my chakras cleansing and had a very profound experience. The energy slowly closed up and my body got back to normal. I have no pain since then and am very sensitive to music vibrations and have become more intuitive, almost psychic. I would love to talk to someone about this as I didn't intentionally try for that to happen. It was the most beautiful, intense and spiritual experience of my life. Also meditating has become a whole new experience since then. Look forward to hearing from you.

There are many vastly different experiences with Kundalini. I think it's best for everyone to follow their own intuition. Many people never mention experience any negative symptoms and those that do run the scale in duration and severity. I wouldn't encourage anyone to specifically try to awaken Kundalini but I do encourage everyone to meditate in order to realize that there is an observer to the thoughts in our heads and that those thoughts aren't who we are.

Practices for working with overwhelming Kundalini Energy:
Hatha or yin yoga every day at least 30 mintues to an hour. Heart openers and hip openers are good for depression and or anxiety.
Feel the goodness and energy of your body while practicing yoga. Let go of any thoughts which pass through your mind. Be present to your body. If emotional pain arises, embrace it, feel it and let it go. Breathe into the pain and let it gently release from your being.
Heart and hara Meditation: 15 minutes a day, place one hand on your heart and one on your belly, breathe in "I am loved" and breathe out "I am safe.” Say this like a mantra, over and over and allow yourself the freedom to unhook from your thinking mind. Allow your nervous system to recalibrate in love and peace.
Continue practicing mindfulness meditation. At least 30 minutes. Don’t believe your thoughts, let them pass on by. See emotions as arising energy and allow them to come and go. Be with what remains: the silent space of awareness.
Go out side and get some exercise, ride a bike, go for walks in the park.
Become comfortable with spiritual experiences, they are just energy moving through your body. Do not become infatuated or freighted of this moving energy, it is just energy.
    Relax, relax, relax.
Do anything to heal emotionally. See a counselor or therapist, do shadow work etc.
Do anything to heal physically. See a bodyworker, healer, chiropractor etc.
Circulate the energy in a gentle way. Breathe the energy up your spine on the inhale and down the front of your body on the exhale. Do not force it, but gently guide it through the chakras.
    Relax, smile and surrender.
    Take good care,
    -craig

I learned to master kundalini. I don't care for trolls, so believe me or u don't I don't care. my first encounter with kundalini was very harsh. when I was meditating I choked up, my spine shot straight and sec later I found myself in outer space and about 4000 books of knowledge where pumped in my head per second. this really really really caught me off guard and it took me a few days to recap what happened. After that weird one time kundalini experience (25 yo at the time and have meditated for 10 years every day) I never returned to that state. it was to intense. Now on the other hand. I have learned to control it. I wanted to heal my heart. As it was broken after a nasty break-up. I'm not that spiritual in the sense that I'm font of chakra's and stuff. That's a bit too much out of context for my likings. But still, I felt the space around my heart was teared up. That was the moment I consulted the ancient force I came across once. I think I need to tell you now that I'm not afraid of death anymore because of the depression I'm in... Kundalini is not a force that shows any sympathy. so it came at me hard. but I didn't gave a f**k. You know why? Because it may be a godlike force. But we are gods. Kundalini is life energy. Like life itself, it gives and it takes. The weak have to make place for the strong. That's how it works. That is how I mastered Kundalini. I looked it straight in the eyes and saw myself. Strong.

+Levin Praeyur It is actually quite common. Most of us place too much emphasis on western diagnosis's and forgot that we are spiritual beings. The spine is very mysterious to most western doctors and they often do surgery to alleviate "mystery pain." But if we have not had spine trauma due to an accident, and are healthy, then most back pain, when investigated is found to have an emotional and spiritual origin, thus making the healing of it a different type of work. This is why yoga is so helpful in this realm.

You're "thinking" too small here. Kundalini allows you the Knowledge that YOU are the SOURCE of ALL Power.
Many people receive 'siddis' or subtle powers such as OOB's (Out of Body Experiences), or Clairvoyance, or the ability to find lost items, and numerous other Metaphysical Perks..... and these powers can certainly be "kewl".... but they can also act as a distraction which can keep one from the *Ultimate* goal of Enlightenmentg.
Some receive these siddis/perks and some do not..... but such perks are NOT so important. What IS important is SELF Realization .... to fully Realize that you ARE the Source of ALL Power. A Kundalini Awakening is the begining of one's sacred journey.... The Realization of ~ I AM ~ is the end.
Whatever we might THINK the "Gift" is.... consider that it is MUCH greater than anything the Mind could ever imagine.

Hmmm, not sure stopping meditation is the best way to handle that... since it could well be the Kundalini energy working on your lower Chakras.
The beauty of the Kundalini Power is that IT is Supremely Intelligent and knows exactly what to start working on first during the purification process.
I would suggest maybe trying Japa... repeating one's Awakened Mantra, while walking in nature .... or some other such Yogic practices as one is moved to do so... from within ... by the Kundalini.
When we Trust the Kundalini Energy and learn to listen to its inner directions.... what we are doing is learning to connect to our own INNERMOST SELF. It's a process .. trust the process.

yes, we can have all sorts of bizarre energies which arise on our pelvic floor, or in any of the chakra centers, I would not be frightened of these energies, I would simply continue meditating and see what arises. Spiritual awakening is a serious endeavor, we should all expect that there will be radical changes in our experience the more we meditate and the further we walk along the path, I would not give up, but instead surrender to this greater movement of divinity and see what comes.

Wow Craig. This is one of the best explanations of Kundalini I've seen yet.
I've experienced severe Kundalini symptoms for almost a decade, though like you said, the worst of it was in the first 5 years, culminating in Stage III cancer. It was a terrifying ordeal at times but in the end, it cleared me of all my issues. That's the magic of Kundalini, it's roto-rooter for the soul. I'm very free and very blessed. But K is not for the faint of heart. It will make a warrior out of you.

It is so nice to hear from someone who has had the experience. I can tell that you have the knowledge because I have had it too in 1997 and in 2000 hara in my belly woke up as well. When these things happened to me, I had no idea what was happening. I had to do a lot of research to find out what it was. Today I have written a book about it. It is called My short story of Enlightenment the subtitle is The blue World. It should be available on line on Amazon around the 20th of January.Hopefully a bit before.

For 2 years, I've been dealing with Kundalini energy as you described, and having seizures, incredible bliss etc. and many painful emotional ramifications after an Awakening. Though I had NO IDEA what was going on and never knew this happened to people. And you are right, the yoga teachers in my meditation group had not heard of this, and didn't know what to tell me. I found it interesting that really fast breathing came to me spontaneously, and I felt I had no control over it, and felt strongly that it was necessary to move the energy through. Anyway, thanks for the video!!!

+Lori Ann Miller Hi Lori. I totally get what you are referencing as I too had a pretty dramatic, challenging, AND Blissful Awakening. What helped me.. a LOT .. was the book ~ Play of Consciousness ~ the auto biography of Swami Muktananda. In it he beautifully discribes, in great detail, his own Awakening.
It was a Mystical writing for me in that I would first have the experience and then read about it right after . This was a great validation for me, and gave me the understanding of what an actual Living Scripture is.
One time I asked him, in meditation, ...how is that possible? What is the mechanism? Always wanting to know how things work and he told me... "There is nothing ON the page" and revealed how the Mind creates everything out of pure Consciousness. I thanked him for showing me and then he said .. wait, there is more. So I became still again and he continued... "There is no page" .. and we both had a great laugh .. in fact, we're still laughing!
The Revealing Power of Grace is just SO awesome. : )
      Safe journey, you ARE blessed.

I used to think the same thing, fearful of these types of experiences. I had no choice but to undergo a Kundalini awakening myself, and it turned out to be the greatest blessing a human could receive. I must admit though, at times I thought I was possessed. That forced me to jettison the ego or else, realizing that our mind is our biggest obstacle to true freedom. Best bet is to have an open mind and allow God to be whatever is needed, independent of human fears, hubris, and ignorance.

@wade I feel ya. I’ve learned that none of those things go away. What I’ve discovered recently is the scope of my ego and dreams were actually limited and the kundalini is actually helping me quite a bit. It’s a perspective thing. But the experience of kundalini is quite tough to handle regardless.

    • @ToweringCrane
      @ToweringCrane Před 3 lety

@wade None of that's true - don't worry. I didn't lose myself at all. My previous ego identity was all built upon pain and trauma. And you never lose your ego, just some of the negative structures inside it that create a false self. I realize now the kundalini is desperately trying to rehabilitate you back to your "natural" self. We're so alienated from our true nature that it appears like an alien take over almost. But it's not, I assure you.
It takes a real warrior to deal with the energy of kundalini, so my hats off to you if you're going through the experience. I can look back on it so far and I for sure would never willingly sign up for these experiences, but the alternative is far worse.
I am 100% living my greatest dreams and my own life right now. It's pretty awesome. What you're feeling now is only temporary, promise.

Well done on getting through years of that and thank you for sharing the experience, I don't know you but somehow I feel like I do! I honestly don't know if I had a kundalini awakening or not, but I did a Kundalini Awakening Meditation led by Nithyananda which involved intense breathing and two days later all hell broke lose. I felt like I was dying, I struggled to walk, lift my legs, lift my arms, struggled to breath, felt like I was going crazy, would pace up and down. Emaciated, yellow, severe adrenal fatigue, I would silently bang my hands against the walls in agony, I felt massive damage in every organ on the right side as well as the centre of my brain. I would get want to lie on the floor because I felt this electricity running through my nervous system. Maybe it was my myelin sheathing that had been destroyed exposing my nerves to the elements possibly due a B12 deficiency due to being vegan (because when I got B12 injections there was a big improvement. Took about three years, then when I started getting Chiro and especially after getting the Vit C drips I saw a big improvement, I was debilitated and scared that I would end up in a wheelchair. But before my sudden collapse into hell I was soo happy. I would get blissed out just by laying down and focusing on my heart. After the collapse I had no choice but to cut certain people out because in their presence I would have a relapse. Around certain people I would suddenly feel dizzy, heavy etc...when my cheating ex-husband came close to me I would see snakes appearing in my minds eye, then a spider then a scorpion, I would feel like I am being strangled, then there are some people that make me feel like I am in heaven, and I feel overwhelmed with love. Such extremes. Never had this problem as a child. Its crazy, I could no longer supress my actual sexual orientation which I had managed to do a good job of suppressing before, I could no longer tolerate the people I was able to tolerate before, I am now creating art because I have spent years of my life being taken away from my passions and now I just refuse to get with the 9-5 program etc, . I felt gaps in my spine. After this health collapse I, had no bliss, just one time after sending a telepathic message to a guru I saw on CZcams , to my surprise, I shortly afterwards started to feel this strange vortex like whirlwind around my forehead open up and then this feeling of my entire brain turning on and then hearing him say my name. I was high for three days after that. But I had psychic abilities years before my sudden health collapse. Its just after going vegan for a year, taking niacin, fasting , doing enemas and then this meditation that I suddenly two days after the meditation broke down in every sense of the word. Its confusing because I had some kundalini symptoms but there were also other factors at play. Even before this collapse I would feel pain in my chakras (after getting cheated on) and I instinctively knew how to release it. It would feel the chakra and tell myself, its okay, its okay that you feel this way and I would let the energy run through. Don't know how I figured it out but I did. I had many mind blowing out of body experiences and was skilled at healing myself and working through things, but this sickness was something that was just beyond me. I was stumped, the only thing that truly helped were the vitamin drips.

When it happened it really HAPPENED. It was extremely vivid and 100% involuntary and unintentional. At one point I stood up and was trying to shake the serpent out of my back. It was terrifying!!! The fact that I was loaded on mushrooms made it even more slithery.

Before this all started for me I thought I knew what anxiety was. I was wrong. I regularly feel like I’m being beautifully wrung out but sometimes when it’s happening I do get lost in neurosis and intrusive thoughts and forget to not believe them. Today was kinda rough. I could not get aligned to save my life and though I have come to recognize the anxiety as trapped ecstatic energy I still sometimes don’t know how to move it or relate to it. But that’s just it, isn’t it? I’m trying to move it when I’d be better off to soften into it and allow it. I can not tell you how stumbling upon this helped me. I worked a nine hour shift and had a list of things to get done around the house but I fell into this instead and slept like stone for four hours. It was the soundest sleep I’ve had in weeks.
I’ve been working through a lot of fear, and a lot of it involves fear of loss. It’s just the hardest thing to open up to but I know I must or I will be at war with myself for eternity.
Truly, I can not thank you enough. ❤️

How are you getting on nowadays? I really connected to what you said about anxiety and how you thought you knew it but were wrong. It was an absolute nightmare for me as I had no clue what was happening. Four years on and I'm way better. Still have off moments but actually quite glad it all happened. Breathing exercises are what really helped me. Nothing to induce an altered state, more for a calming effect. Things that would have eaten me up before all this started, just have no impact on me anymore. It's a real life changer, just a rough initiation. 😂

I think I might have had what is called a "top-Down" kundalini awakening. I had just started meditating with some crystals, crown chakra got blasted open all at once, suddenly had visions of the Akashic record, the electro-magnetic grid around the earth, felt one with all creation, identified with Biblical and historical characters as if they were past lives, saw spirit world, knew truths about myself, friends and family, had a sense of special mission, the matrix fell, sense of programming fell, saw et's, felt total bliss? I experienced something like this, but I think the problem for me was that the rest of my chakras were not in balance, carrying a lot of old traumas, so when the awakening experience subsided, my connection to source felt completely shut down. I not only felt no bliss, I was in total darkness, pure agony, excruciating pain, no idea how to live the rest of my life here, who I was before was gone, but so was who I was during the awakening - A Co'Creator, able to connect with multi-dimensional energy, feeling who people were just by looking at them, astounding gifts - just disappeared. Still struggling to make sense of it, apparently people who go through this are often put in psych wards and some never recover. I myself was involuntarily committed for 10 days and shot full of anti-psychotic drugs against my will, which made the whole experience that much more traumatic and I am still recovering. I also have the feeling that my mission, whatever it was or is, is over now, that I failed somehow. I just want the energy back but if it's gone for good, I just want this life to be over so I can go home and never come back again, i am so alone here. I do everything I can to try to heal from the bottom up, (no drugs or meds) as the kundalini is meant to happen, but it's a slow, confusing and terribly painful process, not physical, only mental and emotional, I have no idea what to do most of the time. Your words resonate more than most sites I have visited, any advice you might have would be most appreciated.

@wade I'm so sorry you are suffering, it sounds horrible. Have you ever gone to someone who specializes in moving kundalini energy? I wish I knew what to tell you, but I don't. I have the overwhelming feeling that it was stolen from me when I was drugged in a hospital. It stopped the process that I worked so hard to start. I did so much to try to heal from a life of trauma, to serve others instead of myself, actually risked my life to help kids in trouble, was almost killed for it, and now, just nothing. My beautiful energy is gone. I wanted to use it to help people, to use the vibration for all its highest good, for myself and anyone who wanted it, to raise the vibration of the whole planet, but now it's gone.I have nothing left to give anyone. I have no purpose. You can use yours to help people, as long as you can find a way to heal yourself. That is the greatest blessing any human can receive.

    • @Quantum36911
      @Quantum36911 Před 3 lety +1

@wade I totally understand. I got to live for at least 10 years exactly the way I wanted, and even though my dream of having my own family, husband and kids, never worked out, I had relationships that taught me a lot, and got to enjoy being young and healthy, moving to my dream city, and making my own choices. If I never had that, even though it was an illusion, I might feel very differently. When I saw through the veil, "Woke up" at 49, I had nothing, but I was still healthy, so I tried to help others, because I could. Now that it feels my soul has been stolen from me, I have nothing to give. I believe the system I was trying to defeat. did this to me on purpose, so I would be an "invalid", incapacitated so I could not help others. Now the journey is to heal myself, as is yours. You don't have to do anything except heal yourself, and by doing that you raise the vibration for all. I wish you all the love and happiness you so deserve. This place is so full of suffering. When we leave, we go back to our true form. Your pain will not be in vain. You will have the life you wanted. I send you so much love wade.

Thanks for sharing, Craig. I like your humble, no-nonsense approach. Quite common it seems, the trauma described. As you said, it’s best to relax or let us say, surrender to the energy. Our fears, desires and conditioned beliefs are a blockage in my view. Also, there’s nothing to practice, we are a receptor, not a doer. An orientation of vibrant emptiness helps, if I may say so. As for bliss, yes, it is enabled in permanence and the entire process is gentle, if we are acceptant. There is nothing to fear, kundalini is Divine Mother.

Symptoms: As always be wise see a doctor to see if your symptoms are related to a physical or mental health disorder first, before self diagnosis and creating more pain for oneself.
Symptoms: overwhelmed by energy, intense energy in the spine, pressure in back or chakra centers, massive pressure in head, heart belly. Feeling incredible bliss, happiness or joy, benevolent experiences, heavenly feelings or experiences, disorientation in the sense of self or identity, feeling as if the ground is falling out from under you, feelings of expansiveness, cosmic consciousness, transcendent consciousness.
Emotional symptoms: overwhelming anxiety (which is really energy simply wanting to move), depression (which is often unconscious resistance to the energy, or fear of this energy or confusion about this energy-remember this energy is Divine, but the ego often interprets it as a form of outside victimization), you may feel as if repressed emotions are releasing out of your chakra centers. This may come with tears, or laughter, or anger…often if you allow these emotions to move and release you will feel lighter and more spacious inside.
Neurological disorders (seizure like symptoms, temporarily losing ability to walk, talk, or uncontrollable hand movements/kriyas, spine arching or moving like a snake, loss of memory, dyslexia, intense pain in back, neck, head or spine. Ringing in the ear. Headaches, migraines.
Mental Disorders: (brain fog, trouble thinking, racing thoughts, uncontrollable thoughts, emotional disorders (uncontrollable anger, sadness or rage, irritability, agitation, bipolar tendencies, mental illness, intense confusion in the mind, psychotic or psychic experiences (don’t get lost in these or become attached to these).
As always be wise see a doctor to see if this is a physical or mental health disorder first, before self diagnosis and creating more pain for oneself.
Meet with a team: a competent teacher, healer, therapist, chiropractor, physician, and body worker. Do light gentle yoga, engage in healing on all levels of being, mental, emotional, physical, family of origin, inner child, shadow work, and spiritual integration. Remember every aspect of life is connected. Kundalini will not solve all of your problems, but rather will bring an awareness to you of where your energy is blocked and where you need to do your work. It may heal many things within you, but with many more aspects of your humanity will it ask you to come forward and actively join in the healing process.

I couldn't afford it at the time, and so we do our best. But this means we pray for help, we read every book on self healing we can, we take the time to make our own healing a priority, we learn to meditate and do yoga, we speak with wise friends and elders. We use CZcams, but with discernment =) (there are a lot of unskilled teachers on the web) and use the internet to learn self healing techniques. We do our own shadow work, we journal, we develop mindfulness, we ask for help and see if someone will compassionately meet us. We rely on our own inherent Divinity, and if we have not yet found this, we work to discover the true voice of our own heart space.

It all came up and it was pretty scarry. But at the end you can handle it. It's just a normal process of the awakening of consciousness. Such experiences make the people less egocentric and they start to really look for their true nature. Because of this experience I started to read Eckhart Tolle, Ram Dass and to meditate. It can really open your eyes and see the reality more clearly. We are the one life, not just these forms of human beings. Thank you for this video.

That's your spirit and higher self fighting your ego. I'm going through the same thing and went through intense fear and anxiety and panic attacks. But just like he said in the video, relax your body, focus on your breath to relax, and let it do its thing. Don't overthink it like I did, your ego will make you think there's something wrong or that you're going crazy, and a lot of other symptoms.

@wade i thought the same thing, it gets easier and better with time, and I'm guessing one of your lessons is to learn patience, that was also mine. Transformations take time but the reward is far greater than the suffering. So keep going, keep doing your research and sooner or later you'll start seeing the difference. Death isn't an option to suffering, because you'll most likely have to go through it again and again until those lessons are learned. So keep your head up, you got this.

@wade kundalini takes away everything that doesn't work for you. To me it sounds like you're holding on to your past, when your whole life is trying to change, for the better. You have to put in the work too if you want things to go further, kundalini won't do it alone for you. You have to heal your past and every trauma you went through, if you keep holding on to it you won't move forward. The people that have helped me a lot are Victor Oddo, Christina Lopes, and Sadhguru. Hope this helps.

Wow, I see there is a lot sincere and bizarre comments here. I recently wrote a book about spiritual awakening, which provides a very clear path for spiritual freedom, (but does not really address the kundalini) besides that if you adopt the attitudes in the book, the kundalini will move more freely through you, for info:

***** Not so surprising really, since we tend to travel in 'soul' families for lifetimes. If two people who are close and vibrating at the same level... then one can pick up energy from the other.
The kundalini is very intelligent and will give each of us the experience we need. Some get a very mild level of shaktipat, while others might receive a very intense level ... the important thing is that one GETS it, regardless of the level. THen one can nurture it and honor it and allow it to do its Divine Work within us. Some people may need 'work' in one area... and some in another... some have strong physical kryas, some have mental / emotional kryas.. and some mild kryas that they don't even recognize as kryas. Wbatever the case .. they are simply part of the purification process.. which help rid us of our samskaras or "baggage" as it were.
IF someone has had a spontaneous Awakening and has no apparent Master.. I would personally suggest that they GO Within and locate a physically manifest Living Master. It is much harder to come to SELF Realization with no Master to guide one. Such a Divine One can save you a LOT of trouble down the road.

    • @faithrada
      @faithrada Před 10 lety +1

Trouble which comes about because of a lack of guidence .. when dealing with Kundalini more often equalls a major, and needless detour on one's path.
A great BEing once put it this way... there are many different approaches that will eventually bring one to SELF Realization ... even the "Stupid" approach will eventually get you there... but it will take much longer and be more painful. When we walk in The Master's foot prints the way is made easier and far more direct, because they have done most of the work for you. It is called GRACE. If one is in to Suffering ... go for it ... but one gets no extra bonus points for it.

when kundalini start rising we will experience extreme discomfort over the long period of time. But that is a cleansing process of our entire system physically and spiritually, covering your own present and past lives traumas.
We are all protected completely by Devine force and we are given just the right amount of suffering, but it is hard enough to destroy our ego and firmly unite us with higher realm.
I hope everyone who are suffering now to know that it will be over, please try things that make you feel better, for me it was to go into nature away from people and gentle yoga, and praying to something greater to heal me with all my heart.

Had a kundalini awakening at the age of 16 after a couple of years of meditating with a mantra. I recall the first time I noticed it rising I instructed it to stop so I could focus on a self-inquiry in meditation instead of being distracted. Days later in another meditation session, it rose with an explosion at the base chakra in the shape of a black sitar-like orb and I allowed it to continue all the way up. I seemed to have some psychic control to allow it to be a gentle experience. It was beautiful to see all the chakras and their shapes and colors. Finally, the crown chakra opened above my head like a lotus and I left the body by way of a silver thread, realized the Self, Sat-Chit-Ananda, Brahman, Nirvikalpa and Savikapla samadhi, and later sojourned with a being who told me his name was Ishwar. Only in recent years have I leaned what all that meant and the terms you see here. I'm leaving much out because it would be a lot longer message to go into it here. Yes, the kundalini awakening was preceded by what are called kriyas, although not as many as others experienced and only occasionally. After that Awakening, meditation was useless and today, some 50 years later, I enjoy reading the teachings of Ramakrishna, Aurobindo and very few others. Eventually, I plan to read Ramana Maharshi's books, too.

"The Spirit resides in us in our heart. It's the reflection of God Almighty. In Sanskrit language: this aspect of God which is all-pervading and is the first and the last, is called as Sadashiva, is the Father, who does not incarnate. We say Yahova, you can say, or the God who does not incarnate. This great aspect which encompasses everything ultimately and also manifests everything, is reflected within our heart as the Spirit. This aspect is just the witness aspect. It witnesses the play of its power, the Primordial Power, the Holy Ghost, to see what is created by Her. He's the only enjoyer of the game. He sees the game, the leela, the fun. She organizes everything, it is She who gets divided into three powers, it is She who creates the whole universe, it is She who gives us this evolution, it is She who makes us human beings and it is She who has to make us the higher human being. That's the Holy Ghost, the Primordial Holy Ghost and the reflection of that is this Kundalini within us. These two have to meet. They are separated; the Spirit within you and the Holy Ghost within you have to meet. That is the Yoga, that's the union." - Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

Fundamentalist should love this as it speaks to a spiritual movement posed against the flaming sword of Jesus. But this guy's kundalini conjures imagery of nightmares. This guy's dark imagination (if he is genuine and not a church actor in a Kundalini smear) creates some force taking his body and twitching him out. That is his imagined state during a common occurrence during a breath rhythm. The language of lots of cultures could create such imagery as it is full of it. But the truth is, You can imagine anything you want during the breath or awakening. And if you imagine God and ask him to fill your life with love and peace and open you're heart...god will answer he always does.
Ask your heart to be filled with the joy that is the everlasting eternal God.
Technically; The breathing technique starts a fire in your belly and awakens every cell from the inside to the very edge of your energy force...the 'weird breath' is a technique that works towards the transition from one conscious to the next. It is a conscious that manifest with a breathing. The breathing expands conscience itself. It is the physical pushing the mental to find a new balance between the too. An effortless intake and expulsion of very large quantity of air. The effortlessness comes when the breath is given back to the body and then a humbled learning begins as you realize you did not even know how to breathe! Now that you can breathe what else can you know? The breath creates spiritual, mental and physical wellness. It will have great benefits like increased Heath and vitality. I suppose this is my Kingdom Come when I can stay in the breath forever. Please email if you would like to talk about Kundalini with Kundalini in the title.

Hi Craig, Nice to hear you talk about Kundalini would love to talk to you more over this. My 1st experience with Kundalini awakening happened about 2 years ago under the guidance of my beloved Guru In India. It was the most beautiful thing ever happened to me till date........ but what i understand from your video is that for you this came unannounced... It can be very dangerous if not monitored or directed to move in the right path...

The reason of any suffering is resistance. Suffering = resistance. When someone so to say taps into a higher energy the ego consciousness thinks "what the hell is this, i don't wan't it" and resists it resulting in suffering. Only people who do not welcome this healing "energy" will have a bad experience with it.
And again, always these fear spreading Christians in the comment section. Learning the bible out of your head and coming to preach it in places like this is not at all what the message of Jesus was about. That is just the mind's interpretation of what is really meant. Learn to read between the lines, listen with your heart. Jesus was not special. He just was a human being like the rest of us, but he discovered his true self, because he DID welcome this kundalini or whatever you want to call it energy. Don't listen to these fear spreading Christians. Ironically they have understood Christ the LEAST of us all. It's not about cowering in fear and spreading that to others, it's about transcending ego consciousness. We should encourage eachother doing that.

Sydebern do you think he opened his kundilini when he went missing in desert for 40 days??

Sydebern Um, NO. C'mon really? No fucking way did Christ welcome "the snake" spirit. Wow YOU ARE A SHEEP SYDEBERN. BAAAA!! It's reasonable to believe in Hindu practices...in "hipster" religions where characters have 8 arms and shit....but Jesus Christ must have either been just a man (the purpose of all new age teachings ...to get you to believe that shit)...or never existed....believing in blue 8armed gods....WAKE UP SHEEPLE! WAKE UP! THIS IS ALL DECEPTION! Btw the guy in this video looks like shit! I awakened my demon kunalini years ago, and life has been hell since! IT'S A SPIRITUAL TRAP! I don't care how "enlightened" the guy in this vid claims to be...he looks like an empty, exhausted shell of a former someone. Yikes I thought this vid would be honest. IT"S A MISTAKE! I REGRET IT, YOU WILL TOO!

Johnny Homebuilder so what was the point of jesus leaving for 40days in a desert ?? same with moses 40 days in mount sinai we all know buddha was meditating 40 days under a tree every religion hints at meditation...we all know muhammad was meditating in a cave. what was jesus doing in a desert for 40 days??. also old testament mentions prophets meditating like daniel. lord krishna worlds oldest religion encouraged meditation. theres a pattern with all these major religions prophets they all meditated.

Sydebern I agree. We have to understand something about resistance. This resistance is coming from the depths of the unconscious mind. The root fear of the ego is death. Kundalini is like having a near death experience. The healing part takes place first. And then when the body & mind are ready, the serpent can be raised safely. As you were saying, Kundalini energy is the true self. It is the most divine and POWERFUL experience that any human being can have. This is what all religions refer as ''god''.

I got to experience kundalini in controlled ways and with a very good therapist. The Kundalini was evoked via a special breathing technique and the therapy always lasted 40 minutes at a time (don't ask me how or why). It finally resulted in me getting rid of 40 years of severe stuttering and all my eczema on my body disappearing. I have been fully healthy now for 17 years.

You are right. I had a kundalini rising. I think it was from a near fatal car accident. That was 7 years ago. I noticed a few odd things at that time. Then I had a personal trauma 3 years later. I felt a lot of stress so then about 3.5 years ago I decided to do some deep breathing for 2 nights in a row. The 3rd day all hell broke loose. My body was out of control. Massive energy surges up my back. Strange languages coming from my mouth. I thought I was possessed by a demon. I went to the church and they prayed over me and told me to go away. Eventually it has been settling down. I found out 9 months ago what kundalini was. I was already doing yoga and I started going for energy healing work. It is good. I feel grateful to God. I truly had never heard of kundalini and I unknowingly put gasoline on a bonfire. She is here to stay and very welcome to stay.

I have found that people giving these talks, seem to have body language, like they have trapped wind, a burp they want to get up... they seem to use this like people use saying "emmm" i.e. when gathering their thoughts, they look down, swallow, as if they are being bothered by trapped wind, like a lump in their throat.
Good to see people adding the problems and unpleasant experiences to the pool of knowledge.
Unfortunately, the affected acting like wanting to burp/focus on digestive discomfort, and questioning intonation in this, don't gel with me. Beyond my own feeling, I think the affected questioning tone is something we should deal with, it implies a need for constant affirmation from others, a lack of belief in what you are saying ... and as breathing in a fight or flight way, can make the body feel it is in a fight or flight situation, I would suspect constantly talking in a way that is so unsure of itself, that seems to always ask the person being spoken to to give validation or approval for what is being said, I feel, would bring about a feeling of uncertainty in the speaker. So this constant questioning tone used by the speaker, does not just make them sound unsure and in need of validation from others, for even simple statements, but it causes that to be how the person feels about them self... I heard and add for a business school, where the person said who they were, as a question "I',m Mary Byrne?" "I work in marketing?" .. many just see it as irritating, I think it is far more serious. We have an increasing amount of people who more than half of what they say as a statement, is as a question... as within so without, goes both ways, if you present your thought with a constant sense that you are not sure of them at all, even your own name, that will almost certainly have a negative effect on you.... look at who "literally" is now used for something that is figurative or metaphorical... again, literally is exact and clear, figuratively is the counter to that, both the questioning intonation and miss use of "literally" go the same way, increasing vagueness and a lack of solidity in what you are saying.
Also, this questioning intonation is not natural, and is relatively knew... so a person who speaks like this excessively, has been highly programed by external factors, TV and trend. Kids need to be protected from this, and adults should have a good level of self awareness and not speak in a way that implies a response to conform is required from the listener.... "I went to the shop and got a bar?" it sounds like you are not sure and need the other person to conform whether you did go to the shop and get a bar.. that can not but effect how a person feels about themselves. There are children here, in Dublin, mostly middle class or above, who speak, not just in this way, but with American accents... in Ireland.
No offense to Craig here, maybe he did have some lump in his throat or chest here, and I am sure he is aware of how we breath, speak etc effects us internally. Maybe he is not aware of how frequently he puts statements as questions.

Spititual awakening is NOT for everyone. YAH is a Spirit and his Bride Israel is the Only ones that are BLESSED with the Kundalini Rising. When the Kundalini is woke, the third EYE is open.
When the third Eye us Open, it Unlocks the Mysteries and Power of the Dark Race. The Dark Race is RICH in ALL things.
We have Power in ALL things. EAT Natural Fruit and Vegetables. Plant your Barefeet into the ground and SIT in the sun.
You will Experirnce the Powerful Electricity in your body.

I had a kundalini experience last year. Most profound experience of my life, I'm 22 now.
During a meditation around an hour and a half I started to feel this very physical feeling start at my root chakra, and work its way through the rest of my 6. I Could feel the energy rise up my spine and i began to see a statue of what looked like a buddha statue but i somehow knew it was representation of myself. I saw balls of energy on the statue and a "loading bar".
As the energy rose through my spine, it also happened on this "loading bar" i saw on the statue. I was basically in an aerial view flying around it.
When it reached my crown chakra, my conciousness shot out of my body and i saw this incredible being i can only describe as "Net of being" by alex gray. I knew it was where we all stem from and it was incredible. I felt intense bliss, selflessness, etc.
i havent reached it since but am trying.
    figured id share.
