I am so happy I found this video. I had my Juvéderm injections done today, and was panicking because of all the swelling in the lump. I was going to start massaging them down myself, and you just cured me of that. I was not given aftercare instructions, and was getting concerned. Thank you so much.

@@Halliwell29 actually no, its been 3 weeks and all the bruising is gone as well as the swelling, but I’m still waiting for the filler to “settle”. My cheeks are still alittle sore, but they say it could take over a month to see the final results.

@@nickgerr1991 don’t plan on any given number. Depending on what your filling, and what results your looking for will decide how many. It’s definitely not cheap. All together I had 4, and don’t really see significant results

Other videos said avoid exercise the day of. This was not told me. Lip filler done and exercised that same day with a lot of pressure in the lips while bending over. How bad is that?
No one told me this when I got my cheek filler but I realized myself to not to do all the things discussed here but was worried 36 hours later I still look lumpy and feel sore. Thanks for putting my mind at ease.

What can you do if you think it has migrated under the eye??. I got restylane Lyft and for some reason I developed a small lump under one eye just above my cheek bone. The small lump has no color just noticeable lump. Will it go away on its own? I read it is not good to have it dissolved? Thoughts?
I am seeing my ocular/facial plastic surgeon this Wednesday to discuss it and would like another opinion.

It could be swelling and settle, it could be migration, it could just require more time to integrate. Also, everyone has said to massage the lumps out otherwise they will harden and you’ll have to get them dissolved…what is the proper procedure and why do some recommend it and others do not?
I agree, I've seen videos saying massage it and others saying do not touch, so also not sure!
Hello, thank you so much for your comment- this is such a great question and one we get asked often. So here at Trikwan, we ask patients to refrain from massaging any treated areas. Directly after your treatment, our Medical Doctors will immediately massage the area's to ensure everything is even, we don't expect patients to do this following on from their treatments as it's a protocol our Doctors follow so really there should be no need for a patient to do this themselves. In any case some patients might require some more massaging which we will do for patients during an in-clinic review. It's important this is carried out by your Medical Practitioner only to ensure you aren't applying too much pressure or moving the filler around the area. Its almost been 2 weeks i had my cheeks and chin filler done along with botox, can i go for dermapen for scars now, will derma pen affect the filler?

I had temple filler about 3 weeks ago. I really try not to sleep on my side at night but every morning lately I’ve been waking up on my side. Am I squashing my temple filler? Is it spreading elsewhere by sleeping on it? I’m a bit worried. Thanks.
It’s important to avoid sleeping on the treated area for the first 2 weeks

I see NO improvement at all after 36 hours and actually the lines look worse than before treatment. Very discouraged. Until I can reach my provider is there just some people that fillers do not work on?

Is it normal to get break outs around the mouth after filler? Small pimples and some extremely tiny blister like pimples on the lips?

This sounds like a vascular occlusion. Did this happen to you ?

Thats Herpes, you had an outbreak after getting filler. It happens to people with it
Are headaches and nausea a side effect, I still have that on day 2 and reduced appetite, I had nose fillers only with alar botox
You should not be having these symptoms after a dermal filler treatment , we recommend that you contact your practitioner immediately
I am feeling a bit nauseous, but I think it's just because I didn't eat since I had my dermal filler

He meant that u should stay in moderate or cold temperature,if u expose yr face to hot temperature then it will cause complications
When can you sleep on the side of your face?
I had some cheek filler migrate to under my eyes My doc dissolved it yesterday and I am swollen a little. Is this normal? I am icing

Hello, thank you for your comment! Icing helps swelling to settle so we say around 1-2 days post treatment you can start icing the area. We always suggest to keep the ice moving around the area, try not to keep it in one place for too long as you will likely still be slightly numb from treatment. You can do this until the swelling has subsided. Thanks Trikwan Team.
Can I sleep with my head elevated and head off to the right side after jowl filler?
Hello, thank you for your comment! We usually advise patients to sleep on back but we understand it can be hard to do. It shouldn't cause issue depending on the quality of filler and how it's been injected! Hope this has been helpful.
Why should avoid hot baths sauna an hot tempersture? I wanna know why
Because it breaks down the filler. Your filler will dissolve quicker.
