My dad hung out with the doors before they got super popular. He said morrison was quiet and kept to himself. He said the rest of the band was super chill and nice.

Excellent show here, thank you. I was there. The Doors are still probably the most influential band in my life. I am a musician and songwriter. Jim was a real poet.
Up until 1991 I didn't know much about Jim Morrison or The Doors, apart from enjoying hearing their songs every now and then on the radio, but one afternoon I was walking along Oxford Street, London, at the Tottenham Court Road end and there was a cinema there (It could be where the Primark store is now) and they were advertising The Doors movie. I thought this would be great to see, so I went in and bought a ticket.
I went in later to see the film and it was totally awesome, one of the best and powerful films I have ever seen.
I have since visited Jim Morrison's grave twice, in Paris. Just standing there, next to his grave, there is a feeling about the place.
May his music live on forever!

Without doubt,Morrison was a talented singer/songwriter but the other band members John Densmore,Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger were very talented musicians in their own right. Together, they were awesome. Damn shame that Jim Morrison had his demons and couldn't shift them.

The story was told weird how it went back and forth back and forth I'm not sure why it had to be told that way
You unfortunately need to know everything before watching to put it together. But I liked all the new people getting their input and I love a new doc about Jim/Doors, so 😄👍

I like to say that what people do doesn’t matter as much as why they do it… and I may be wrong, but I feel Jim’s poetry, his brilliance and his darkness both, were born out of love, and despair-not ego.

I believe he was highly intelligent, artistically talented, and likely neurodivergent. Many of his behaviours and actions fit the patterns of certain categories. I believe he truly did suffer and masking was extremely difficult for him. RIP lizard 🦎 king 👑

Mostly voice and facial recognition patterns but also Morrison's father was a high ranking military intelligence officer. Often people of this class play different roles in the theater. Jmmi Hendrix became Morgan Freeman, for instance. You can research these claims yourself.
