The oaf receives a life sentence for premeditated murder which means he is out in 13-years. It doesn't get more British than this. Well, perhaps we need a spinster lady who momentarily is a suspect. Very sorry the dealer was murdered but this was a glorious story.

I've got a paperback copy of 'The Wind in the Willows', published in 1961, which cost 3 shillings and 6 pence! Who remembers shillings and pence? Before decimal currency, we had 12 pennies = 1 shilling, 20 shillings = £1. I must have been 13 or 14 when I bought this book, and I still re-read it now I'm 76! My favourite character is the Mole and my favourite chapter is 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn', which makes me cry when the father otter finds his missing son, with the help of the great god of nature, Pan. Hmm, maybe look a little deeper - there are plenty out there. Police suspect number 1 - 24 hours in police custody. Then if you want more shows like the overly dramatic Cops show from the US you have motorway cops or police interceptors. There are many many more but we tend not to glamorize their crimes.
2016- Oxford England - A brutal murder of 42 year old Adrian Greenwood. A rare book was taken from the victim. A 50 year old man named Michael Danaher was interested in rare books owned by Adrian Greenwood.
They act like they only found him because he left the phone on. Without the phone, they probably could have traced that book pretty easily. It was amusing to watch them discuss this crime whilst trying to keep a straight face. 😅
If he hadn't taken the phone, he still would have been caught--he was selling the unique book, and he was on CCTV. YT wants me to pay to watch a video about this....and why should I do that, when I've already learned the whole story already?
