The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
The game's main story revolves around the player character and their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. The videogame is set two hundred years after the events of Oblivion, and takes place in the fictional province of Skyrim. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.

Corprus zombies constituted 90% of my nightmares after I first saw them when I was in middle school.
I was so scared of Ghostgate back in the day...

The writing and how they incorporated the characters abilities and legendary accomplishments in those early ES games are what's so lacking these days.

They will. Imagine how long these videos could have lasted if they’d uploaded maybe once or twice a week. They’ll run out of ideas eventually...
They do videos everyday to please the Gods of CZcams so their channel gets pushed more. I don't know how they work on videos but it wouldn't surprise me if they worked on a video each. So by them self they work on about 3 videos a week but together its 9 videos a week, so they are 2 videos "ahead" incase something would happen that they have some lean room.

Makes sense that Peryite who is responsible for mortals’ inevitable fate, that being death by disease(as you’ll most definitely die by disease if nothing else kills you first) is depicted as a dragon despite being one of the weaker princes. To mortals he arguably has the greatest influence on their lives

Ghosts of the tribunal in creation club gives you the keys to the car. You must teach yourself how to drive it though. Let me know if you have a good build set up

2:31 You can't just use those sounds man. I just finished a tour in the Molag Amur region, those things, they were everywhere. Everytime I slew one, they seemingly multiplyed, and attacked again. Divines help me, the screams, their screeching, the never ending sound of thousands of cliff racers bearing down to sink their tail into your skull. I cant sleep anymore.

Can we all just take a minute to really appreciate what this teams done here? Like Skyrim’s been out for what something like 8 years now and these guys are still hard at it churning out video after video and I think we all need to really appreciate it. Like a lesser channel would have moved on to some other topic by now and idk I just personally really appreciate that you guys have stuck at it all these years.

Blight storms remind me of the dangers of dust storms in the American desert, in the sense of contracting diseases like Valley Fever (where fungi get kicked up in the storm and inhaled by people).
For someone who knows the plot of Morrowind but never finished the game but loves its lore I am very happy with this video explaining the Blight. Dark Elf lore is truly the best ES has to offer.

It looks like OpenMW with some decent shaders, some people have made that engine look better than Skyrim itself.

It should be noted that, if I recollect correctly, the Nerevarine was a special case, and the "cure" for corprus only worked on them, with attempts on all other subjects all failing.
I don't know if Divayth Fyr ever successfully "cured" anyone else of corprus during or after the events of tES3.

the story of morrowind deserved to be a more modern game .... but the ironic thing is it would of been watered down and just not the same ... what a special game. i played this game solid for 3 or 4 years after its release ... on the same save. of course others too ... i have a couple of "maxed" saves of course ... how much time i sunk into this game... hope one day the skywind project will be completed.

When you think about it dragon age origins is heavily based on morrowind.
A divine diseases that corrupts people and the land it's self.
Created due to an age old mistake of a mage messing with the divine.
The hero has to build alliances between different factions that dislike each other.
Only by becoming infected by the disease and overcoming it's effects are you capable of fighting the corrupted god.
Funny that you guys would upload this video when I just finished Morrowind's main story a few days ago.

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos, I've been playing elder scrolls since morrowind came out. I was around 11 and it was the first "real" video game I had ever played and it was the most amazing thing. Even all these years later I still love going back and exploring Vvardenfell. All your videos are informative and entertaining, I listen to them for hours when I'm working and they make the day go quicker. I'd love to hear about the Great Houses of Morrowind and how they govern the politics in morrowind. Are there many minor houses? Does every dunmer belong to some form of house? Keep up the great work!!
Great elder scrolls video
One thing that always bothered me back in the day when I played Morrowind was that the corprus stalkers all looked like generic Nord or Imperial male zombies. On a continent full of mostly dark elves, why did you never see a dark elf stalker? Or a female stalker? It was like they took a generic zombie asset from some other game...
I suspect that the disease might be primarily 'made' for the Dunmer race. Throughout the whole game you only ever see Dunmer as beings with any semblance of looking normal in Sixth House bases. After all, Dagoth Ur's whole schtick is that he wants to 'Make Resdeyn Great Again' for the Dunmer people. It seems like even then only the ones who can withstand the changes even amongst the Dunmer are few and far between. But if they can stand the mental and physical changes, it seems like they become immensely powerful, transforming into something more, their bodies eaten away by the disease but being replaced with a malleable, magical substance they can reshape using their will. That coupled the ability to never die (at least for the Ash Vampires and Ascended Sleepers) so that even if slain, they will return, obtaining true immortality. It's no wonder it is considered a 'blessing' by some.

I wonder if yagrum bagarn's resistance to the mind affecting aspects of the disease were due to his dwemeri nature given the dwemer were hardcore skeptics who collective refutation of all existence and everything in it was what allowed them to create such masterworks. Maybe because he knew what the heart of lorkhan and Kagrenac's experiments were and what really happened to the dwarves he also knew what was happening to him and was able to stave off the worst effects?

Quick Little Lore Question: Are there any Cults that worship Magnus? I know he's part of the Breton Pantheon.
Tarlo The Boar Many Bretons and Altmer worship Magnus as a god. The Ayleids also worshipped him (or it) to some extent, as they mastered the art of gathering and using light coming directly from Aetherius. Some artifacts believed to belong to Magnus are also held by Imperials. However, I don't think there is any official "cult" revolving entirely around Magnus.
Worshipping Magnus is like worshipping a deadbeat dad that also drove a hole in the garden wall as he left
