Just heard of Sir Frank's passing, immediately came back to this, his passion for racing and speed is so evident in this clip, exemplified by him telling Lewis to go and overtake the rest of the cars on the track. An absolute icon of F1, rest in peace Sir Frank.

This footage is more poignant now more than ever, the fact that Frank responded to Lewis' question of "One more lap?" with "Overtake them" shows how much racing was in his blood even after his terrible accident, Race in Peace Frank. Thank you for making F1 for a lot of us!
100%. Im sure Frank was somewhat uncomfortable and maybe even in a bit of pain. But the thrill of doing what he loved brought that beaming smile out. It was in his blood.

I love how the only time Frank's smile faded was when he heard Lewis was told to drive slow. An absolute lad.
And when he said 'one lap' after Claire had said 2 laps. From Sir Franks expression he thought was gettin short changed by having only one. Then when Lewis took off for a second lap i actually smiled as wide as i had in a long time. I think that even in a wheelchair, Sir Frank has more balls than 99.9% of the worlds population!!

This is how I’ll remember Frank. One more lap. It made me cry. Was there ever a statement that summed up this man’s life. A true racer and a legend of the sport. We’ will miss you Frank and thank you for the incredible memories you gave us. The entire F1 community and fans across the world will be wishing the William’s family well at this sad time. In my mind, he’s up there in the big circuit in the sky, hooning around with his old pals, feeling the car grip, gaining, foot to the floor, everything in harmony, engine singing. One more lap.

Only really got back into F1 over the last 3 years or so, heard so many bad things about Lewis coming in but he's been the total opposite of whatever his reputation was to me. Stuff like this is awesome, put a big smile on my face and Frank Williams was obviously in pain but you could see how much he was enjoying it despite that.
I love how everyone has to say they aren't a fan and then go on to praise him. Just shows how unfounded the hate he gets is and the only reason people hate him is because he is the one at the top, like Vettel and Schumacher before him.
