California is literally the most overtaxed, highest priced state to live in. People have been leaving in droves.
Hawaii is more expensive and I'm fine with people leaving CA. The reason it's expensive is because so many people WANT to live here that demand on real estate drove the prices up. Taxes have very little to do with it. What I pay in income tax here, I'd be paying in higher property taxes and insurance in Florida, a "cheap" state.

How it the price of energy in CA? One of the highest in the nation. CA outsources allot of its power generation due to CA regulations making it too expensive to produce there. CA is a nightmare place to run a business, that is why everyone is leaving.
California buys 30% of its electricity from other states. California democrats haven't built a new power plant in over 20 years. California imports 90% of its natural gas from other states. Californians shouldn't be looking down their noses at anyone because they are completely dependent on other states for their power needs and pay the highest rates in the country for them.
Doesn’t California have rolling blackouts? Don’t charge your electric car in the afternoon, scout. It might overwhelm the grid!
Space x, Tesla, Walgreens, CVS, in and out, mc donalds, and a crap load of other company's have jumped ship in California.
They can get subsidies and tax breaks in other states, and regular joes can make up the difference.

August 10th 2 of my employees are moving to Texas (Currently in California. I have 22 Employees). These 2 have been with me since I was merely an employee for another company, and we all got fired, but I had already secured purchasing the business assets, and keeping 5 employees as the old owner Moved his Company to Idaho. They asked me if they move to Texas can I support them so they can expand the company there? I told them yes, not expecting they would both follow through.
My Insurance cost in California went up $8k per month this month. I can't afford these Liabilities in California.
