I can already feel my waistline expanding. I'm defo gonna try this. Thankyou.
So happy to see a professional chef using frozen vegetables. One of the best lessons I got from _Modernist Cuisine_ was that canned and frozen vegetables are usually fresher than the supposedly fresh ones at the store that have been sitting in warehouses and trucks for days since being picked, while frozen and canned are packaged within minutes.
Agreed. Though the freezing process can change the consistency of the vegetable. Water expands when frozen, so things like tomatoes go a little mushy.
Oh man, Latif, you're an absolute game changer!! Thanks so much for these videos :) I've been playing around with curry, daals, bhaji, dips, etc for years but you have unlocked so many key 'secrets' for me. Next level indeed my brother!! Biggest of love!
Can’t wait to give it a try.
Very nice superb great recipe it looks soo delicious thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
Another belter 🤙
Just made your recipe, I like the simplicity of the dough and folding. My family loves it and it was absolutely gorgeous.
You naughty boy! : o)
Now, I feel so hungry ...
... excellent, and thank you.
A real winner!
Thanks Latif! One of my favorites! Cheers, from Southern Oregon!
looks yummy ..thanks my friend
Wonderful! I love samosas.
Ramadan is gonna be a treat
Great stuff brother latif
Just in time for Ramadan 👍🏼
Oh mate, those look fantastic. Love the tetrahedron shape, never seen it in takeaways or restaurants, but if that’s homestyle then that’s the way to go. The assembly looks much easier than flatter triangles. Thanks for another *phenomenal* vid.
That pastry recipe is perfect, just made some samosas with a chickpea curry filling. I was the best samosa I have ever made. The only time I've had better was from the indian supermarket in newcastle where the owners wife made them fresh every morning.
Oh sounds lovely
I can't wait for the time we're allowed to sit and eat in your restaurant Latif bhai.
It's amazing the power of your videos.
Sometimes I question the prices at restaurants. But when you see the attention and love you give to your dishes. I'll happily pay double for a taste sensation. God bless 🙏🏼
TY so much Latif for so generously sharing your recipes. You are a legend! Can't wait to make them xx
Those are very tasty looking samoas! The technique used for building them is very 'user-friendly'. Thanks for sharing Latif😊
Thanks for sharing and taking the time. Its appreciated. 👌
I've seen plenty of samosa videos, and this has to be the first time I've seen attention being given to the flavour of the dough -- can't wait to try it! Thank you Latif!
Keep up the good work latif bhai
Another great dish to do and agreat post fella . Just got out of hospital after being in there for 6 weeks with covid , thank you NHS . Now going to binge watch all your latest posts for the last 2 months and can't wait till im fit enough to cook and try them all.
Total yum
My recent cravings for samosa chaat have now officially reached boiling point. Great stuff Latif, please keep up the snacks and street food theme going.
My mouth is watering here. Going to do these. Love your posts.
Looks delicious
Good recipe!
Awesome
Absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful.
Very good recipe thanks this is best samosa recipe
That looked delicious!
12 went into the fryer and only 9 made it onto the board at the end. They must be good!
Lol
Yummy, yummy. I love all of your recipes and cooking style!
I'm surprised filing didn't sneak out of a few of those pinched sides that opened up a bit. The first or second had a thin spot that worried me. I hope that inside dough was cooked enough.
Loved the nigella. As for easy if you have leftover mashed potatoes put a bit in. Liked the dough geometry. Call mom in!
We loving your food thank you 😊 Joanne and malc xx
Lovely bro
I love this guy!!
love these simple recipes you're coming out with brutha, you've been making my lockdown significantly more bearable
Lovely food 🍲
Im hungry now lol deffinately gonna. Try these 👍
Wow!! Excellent and easy. Thank you a lot
Latin, you’re a legend. Enjoying all your recipes and making it simple for us to follow. I took some left over chicken Bhuna curry to work and everyone thought it was a takeaway I had brought. Keep up the good work 👍
I think I could actually make these! Thanks for the simplified recipe!
Bomb!
Cool I asked u for ingredients on Instagram sorry x it’s all here. Awesome looking fabulous, plus the way u eat makes it sooo yummy

Masha Allah perfection chef I’m a big admirer of your cooking style thank so much for sharing brother
Delicious 😋😋😋😋😋😋Looks so good and tasty 😋
Nice job chef. I could taste them from my armchair.
Nice👍🏻 keep the vegan dishes coming my friend. Some of these with your Bombay potato curry and I’m in heaven 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Another banging video. Thanks for this I will try this but using a actifryer trying to shed my lockdown pounds take care.
You're a star cheers.
I love your videos! You are amazing. If I ever make it to the UK, I'm going to look you up
Is that Shingara looks amazing, what a treat. Khaba re bhai 😃😃😃😃😂😂😂
Lovely recipe 👌🏻 Greetings from Scotland 😊 Have a wonderful day everyone 🌻
oh wow , they look super delicious. In Sri Lanka too the samosa wrapper is thick . They are quite filling as a meal. Thank you
Your soooo good. I always try your recipes and you NEVER disappoint. The Best, Fabulous......Thank you
I just made samosas for the first time. OMG Basic commercial tamarind sauce and just plain Greek yogurt and still awesome!
Keema lamb and vegetables, make larger triangles, awesome...
Good video, chef. I'm looking for a simple technique for the pastry...every recipe seems to have all these tricky folds and water/egg washes. I must give yours a try!
Wow....I cooked and took them to our “Indian bring a dish” night. They were delicious...and they were demolished!! Thank you Latif for such a yummy easy recipe.
I want more.....
Get in line gandoo 😜
Legend
Humble: yes
Food god: yes
A rare combination.
Pukka could yam them now 👌
I normally hop in my car and go to Indian Way (indian restaurant owned by a friend of mine, in Nijmegen, the Netherlands) for a few good samosa’s, but I sure am gonna make this samosa’s myself! They look devine👌
Looks very nice. Apart from the vegetable bit
Another cracking recipe. I would really appreciate any advice you might have as to how I could make a gluten-free version. Both of my children have coeliac disease but they love samosa. My attempts to make gluten-free samosa have been pretty poor so far. Some advice from the master would be most welcome!
Beautiful! I do like potato in the samosas as well. How much potato would you use and can you just add it cubed and cook with the other vegetables?
smash the potatoes and just fill it by feel, not too much just so it doesnt leak or come out
Nice technique cutting roti in four. Next kitchen project!
Looks real homestyle.pyramid samosas
Bought once something similar from asian shop freezer with imli dip. Expensive.
You gave me some good ideas.
hello. u often do simple recipes for us at home which is great but cud you do some full recipes for us enthusiasts. love your channel . thanks.
I would use his dough recipe but definitely my own veggies. Frozen limits you to the combo they have within the mix. Not hard at all to add your own Veg, but will certainly try this.
Lovely recipe and can I just say thank you SO MUCH for not using background music!
Looks really lovely Latif, and not difficult to make either. May I make a request please? A video on making Daal Puris would be great for Ramadan. Thank you.
Latif, would you be so kind as to show a recipe for Shaktora Pickle please. Love you recipes I have made so many of them now and received compliments galore😀. Robert
they look really tasty! i always used to make samosas with potato, onion and processed peas wrapped in filo pastry xxx
I'll try this samoosa look s great
😋
Latif has just revolutionised how to form a samosa. We’ve been making these since first lockdown but we found the technique of forming the triangle with the folded ‘backbone’ then adding the filing really difficult. Your method looks so much easier and I’m looking forward to trying it. Will it work with larger samosas?
I don’t mind some veggie dishes However I’m a real meat eater You do some great shows Thx 😊
I made some like this myself, they were nice, but I have to say I do prefer the flakey pastry restaurant style ones 🤗🙏
Tinned potatoes diced also good shortcut just before filling.
wicked.
Thank you
Love the way you cut and fold your samosas. Thanks from Greece. Meat samosas?
🤤
Nice video bro.
Put a little ajwaan in my dough. Maybe not traditional but gives nice extra dimension.
Nice combo with imlee chatni.
What is AJAAN???
Love the idea of adding nigella seeds to the dough. But I was disappointed/surprised you didn't make the more standard potato filling.
Me too.
I just found your channel; thanks for the recipes! If I wanted to freeze these for Ramadan, would you suggest freezing with the dough completely raw or should I half-fry beforehand?
here we go another one for the book.
Brother you need to show us how to do some ramdan dishes like chana and kusri
new camera? quiality looks great
Hey Latiff have you done a cookbook yet? I really like your stuff and would definitely buy it
Coming soon
@@LatifsInspired Put me down for a few too... great presents.
I also would like to see you tell us how to do vegetable samosas with potatoes in the filling.
