Hi Chef. Love the recipes. How do I message you directly?
Can you please provide timings for the cooking
@@sajidr7699 Hi can you be specific about what timings you wish.
Thank you! I can't wait to try them!!
Enjoy 😊
I go to a local coffee shop at least once a week to pick up a couple of these...the
Owner drives 100 plus miles to get his traditional samosas every week....now I can make these and have them on hand 🤤😋 THANKYOU!!
Hi Hannah Butcher.. thank you for your comment. Bless, now no need as these homemade ones are so much better in taste and quality. It's a labour of love I say but one definitely worth it. Enjoy 😊
Love your enthusiasm when you do your videos and as for the recipes themselves one word brilliant. They are very clear with great detail. Have made quite a few of your recipes with great success. Keep up the good work and get that cook book out. Thank you.
Thanks so much 😊
Mouth watering!
I made these tonight. Never made pastry of any description before. Making it was easy. Rolling it was less easy (for a 60yr old bloke with motor neuropathy), but I got there after a disastrous start. I confess I got bored cutting and folding halfway through, so made half into samosas and the rest as 'samosa/Cornish pasties'. Tasted great and the pastry bubbled up nicely as it should. Thanks for the tutorial and recipe.
Just followed this and cooked some tasty samosas 😛 great tutorial. Thanks 😊
Hi Ricardo, thank you for your comment. Ahh I'm super pleased to hear you enjoyed them! They're Amazing 😊👍

My son commented on the lamb samosa in come dine with me, yesterday. Although I'm extremely busy, I find nothing more relaxing than cooking ( except hamams and massages) and my boy is coming home to lamb samosas. I hope they are as good as yours look, and THANK YOUUU :)
Hi Simone, thank you for your comment. I find cooking very therapeutic too so I can totally relate to what you're saying. Aww bless you.. I hope he enjoys them as they do take some time and effort to make. He is one lucky boy to have a wonderful mum who delivers what he asks for! I'm sure they will be absolutely delicious 😊 enjoy
I'm going to make this recipe. It's close enough to my mum's recipe. Thank you 👍
This is so sweet to read! Bless... enjoy 😊👍

Punjabi samosey all the way! Enjoy lovely and I hope he appreciates your efforts as they are hard work 😊👍
You are the cutest. The sheer happiness on your faxe x
Ahh, thank you 😊
oooo just found your channel by accident and so glad I did, I can't wait to try your samosas, I love them but apart from my local Indian Curry restaurant where I live the only other place I can get the fresh ones is 90 miles away in Newcastle. I love Indian curries and breads, so now I will turn my kitchen into Karen's curry house. Thank you for sharing.😁
Love samosas though mine once came out terrible! I've been comparing your samosa recipe to Nisha Katona's video from the 'This Morning' programme,- interesting, might be worth you having a look, I like your idea of adding the lamb mince (her's are veg samosas) and Nicha's idea of using filo pastry, (I'm useless with making pastry). I'm torn between the two of you lol!
Love it can you do a video on veg samosas with the pastries please as plain flour is like gold dust at the moment sold out everywhere x
Ayisha, I'll try my best to get one up soon. 😊
Great. Going to try this version. I usually make these with shop bought filo. Don't forget the peas 🤣
Simon, thanks for your comment. Definitely do try this recipe, they're AMAZING! I love both filo and homemade pastry samosas. Haha, yes the peas 🤦♀️🤷♀️😁
I am chef dannydad with about 30 years experience in kitchen. Your ways of making samosa is great and detail. Ever tried to put some corriender power with pinch of dry mint (for mutton samosa). ?
I'm so addicted to your videos! Love them! Please can you show how to make butter chicken? Humble request.. JazakAllah xx
Hi angeleyes 7868, thanks for your comment. This is the link for my Butter Chicken recipe: czcams.com/video/VpLpCDp-F_E/video.html
Give it a go and let me know how you find it. JazakAllah khair and dua mein yaad! 😊🙏
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes JazakAllah!! 😊 just seen your comment now! Will have a look xx
Beautiful food 🥘 my lady 🐏😍❤️🥘🥂
Thank you Dave 😊👍
These look sensational. I never knew the pastry was rolled to that thickness as I just assumed it was thinner
You can roll it thinner if you wish, this is how I prefer mine.
Great recipe. Instead of cheese I use a fatty cut of lamb and render the fat really browning the meat. I save most of ituse a bit of this fat to cook the masala of onion, ginger, garlic and tomato plus powder spices. I'm sure the cheese is yummy and indulgent too - nice work.
going to try this tomorrow. With fresh green chillis. Your very beautiful.
Hi Darren, I hope you managed to make these wonderful triangles of joy! Thank you 😊
These look soooo good, going to try and make some of these!! you now have a new subscriber lol
Thanks for your comment Trevor. They were AMAZING and you must try them! Thank you for the subscription 😊 lots more to come.
My Little Kitchen oh thanks so much for your reply. I so look forward to seeing more of your vids!!
Thank you so much for this video, I have been trying for so long to make the samosas that I used to enjoy as a child and finally I have found it thanks to you. You cannot beat Punjabi style as a lot of bought ones don't add the potato. Can't wait to tuck in. Yay.
Yay 👏🙌 wonderful to hear this Sharon!
I love your vids, well explained & understandable, also common ingredients so you’re not looking for essence of unicorn horn. You should have your own TV show, you’re by far better than most of them. Thank you.
Oh thank you 😊👍 Maybe BBC need to be made aware 😂🙌🙏
I hate when recipes call for the Essence of unicorn horn! This made me chuckle 🤣 it's true 🤣.
I just love your recipes, & so do half the street 😅😁
That's grear to hear LOL 🤣👍
Tip: use a chopstick to check the temperature of the oil. It must sizzle, that means its frying time.
Thnks😉
Absolutely mouthwatering what can you do to make the samosa pastry softer I ate some at my sisters and the pastry was hard which was hard to chew please share stay blessed
YUMMY 😋 LAMB SAMOSA LOVELY THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜 AWESOME
Yes thanks xxx
Hey I moved away from london to a place where it's tough to find any decent somosas! Might have to give this a shot, thanks for showing 🙂
Hi Daniel, you won't be disappointed i can assure you! Enjoy 😉
I love your channel and have acquired some really useful information and some fantastic recipes…..You have a really natural and enthusiastic manner, which is very inspiring……
I love the look of this recipe too, but if I wanted to serve them as part of a meal, (and frying them, when guests have arrived is not really feasible) how would you suggest reheating them at a later point, so they still taste as delicious when I serve them as part of a dinner party……
Just made these, followed your recipe to the letter and I have to say..... AMAZING!!! Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to seeing your other recipes. Just one question, do these red-heat well? What's best way to reheat?
Thank you. They are best eaten fresh as the pastry will be crispy but you can either microwave, oven or Airfry them.
Just subscribed to your channel ..❤
Thank you and I hope you enjoy the content! 😊
they look great! quick question from the beginning of the video, you put in all the spices after the meat was in the pan, is it any different if we add all spices in the meat before putting it on to cook?
I normally like to cook off my mince slightly before adding spices. That's how I've seen my mum do it. I suppose you could add the spices in with he meat if you wanted to.
You are amazing, fantastic recipe. Its lot of work but worth it. Thanks for sharing. Btw, where do get the lamb that you dont need garlic or ginger.👍👍👍
Thanks Asim, they are very hard work but like you said worth every ache and pain. You can make the filling a day in advance and just store it in the fridge and make the samosas the next day. Makes life a little easier. Sorry I didnt understand what you meant when you said lamb without garlic ginger?! Please elaborate.
My Little Kitchen I noticed that you skip adding Garlic in some of you recipes, just wondering if there is a reason? Normally, with chicken or any meat/ especially with lamb - we add garlic to compensate for the meat smell. That’s all I was wondering. Happy cooking.🌟🌟🌟
This looks really delicious my friend :) #Engratha
They were yummy! 🤤🤤😊
Thank you for your video me and my husband made these lovely Lamb Samosas today but took most of the seeds out of the chillies. Do you leave them in as our samosas weren't that spicy ?
Your house must smell lovely 😊 I love Indian food. I need an Indian wife or learn to cook it myself.
Haha 😁
Hi, would like to see the size of cup you use for cup measurement as I usually use weigh scales. I’m hopeless at guessing measurements. Thank you.
Aisha, my cup measurement is 250ml which also equates to 250g in weight! I hope that helps and I'm sorry for the delay in responding. 😊
Wow amazing job making this video. Could you tell me how many inches the diameter of your dough is before you put it in the pan? Just trying to get a rough idea on the proper thickness. Thanks for your excellent video!!!!
Hi Abrahim, thanks for your comment 😊
Good Q.. 🤣 I have never really measured the diameter of the rolled out chapatti but I'd say as a general rule it is smaller than a dinner plate but bigger than a side plate. So maybe around 7/8inchs! Hope that helps 😊
Could you freeze the samosas before frying then defrost on a later date and fry
Hi John, thank you for your comment. Absolutely but what I find sometimes when I come to defrost them is that the pastry becomes wet and cracks in places. But other than that no issues when frying or compromise on taste! Hope that helps.
Looks delicious the samosas don't look bad either
Haha 😄
Ur welcome
First time I have ever seen any one put peas an potatoes in samosa mince. I love lots of onion in mine mince.
Thanks for your time?
You're welcome! 😊👍
Excellent thank you
Can you freeze them? Raw or uncooked?
Yes you can! Just make the samosas and place on a flat tray in the freezer and freeze over and place into zip lock bags and take out as and when needed.
Hi, thank you for sharing the recipe, I made lovely samosa following this recipe. However, my samosas came out chewy. Would you know what I've done wrong?
Hi Jenny, thanks for your comment 😊
Wonderful to hear you attempted this great recipe. Did you maybe overfry them as that could be the reason why they were chewy.
Sld add a few choped leaves of fresh mint and some fresh coriander not sure abt adding onions in like that as i ave never did that
How much plain flour did you use please. In Grams if possible please ❤️
I used 4 cups of flour and 1 cup equates to 250g so total = 1kg 😊
