  • Pitax is done. We have freed the people of the tyranny of their ruler Castruccio Irovetti and have taken control over the city where hopefully we will be better leaders :D With that, we go back to our capital and see what's been happening in this time, deal with some kingdom management, buying new items in our newly acquired city and helping Octavia reunite with her mother :D

this is a really good and informative playghrough of the game and it has been fun to join and follow and it will be fun to see you take on the endgame. Is WOTR still going to be your next project? and how far have you come in your plans in terms of the main character and which other characters will come with you? How you will build them etc etc.
I very much look forward to following you on your next adventure. keep up your good work and take care of yourself and your family

Thank you, as always my good sir!
Wotr is still my goal for the next project yes if all goes to plan. With the recent DLC some new interesting stuff was added, was mostly looking at the magic deceiver as it sounds really interesting to mix spells but I will be going for a build that I tried in the past and am more comfortable with, especially since I'll also be doing last azlanti there. I will be taking a sorcerer also (I love my sorcerers I know xD) but this one will be melee. The plan for him will be somewhat similar to what we see with regongar or valerie here in kingmaker - caster levels, dragon disciple but then also going into the prestige eldritch knight class and then eventually more shennanigans from Lich and legend levels. There will be quite a bit of multiclassing and dips, but it works I promise xD
As for the companions, undecided for now. I struggle with that decision because the "efficient me" says get a bunch of mercenaries as they will serve me better, but the "roleplaying me" says to take mostly story companions. Might even use a respecc mod to tune their stats or classes (undecided as of yet).

Halfling riders are such an awesome concept and I've been wanting to play one for a long time now :D probably using the cavalier class that's halfling specific, just looks very cool and cute!
My mythic paths will be Lich > Legend. As for the actual mythic feats I will decide at the time, maybe there's even some new stuff from the latest patches that will be new to me since the last time I played

Preparations for the endgame, but that endgame is going to be long. This story has an odd pacing. At this point, I have the mindset "All right, let's go to the end already", but it is very long in coming. Meanwhile, you might want to level-up your advisors, as far as they're also companions, for the additional attribute point here and there.

I agree completely. The game is quite long, in my opinion maybe a bit too long for its own good, even more so if you go for the true final boss. I find the pacing of the game to be quite fine for the most part but it definitely reaches a point where I'm like, "ok, so this is going to be the end right?" And this question gets asked multiple times before it actually does :p not to mention you have to deal with some particularly nasty and annoying encounters before you get there which just makes you feel like it's dragging even more. In my first playthrough when I got to the house at the edge of time and had to deal with all those ghost mages and their stat drains I just wanted the game to be over and not deal with that.
A good point on the advisors, thanks, I'll want to level them up also due to the possible necessity to play with them slightly in the house at the edge of time
