I spent soooooo many hours of my childhood with this game and its sequel. Challenging games for a kid but what a feeling of triumph it was finishing them especially this one with finally escaping the infamous Butcher Bay mentioned in the films.
Man, the Riddick universe has huge potential. The games were critically acclaimed and well received by gamers. It's a shame Vin Diesel didn't further invest in this franchise, I guess he was too busy with Fast & Furious. When Dark Athena came out in 2009, Fast & Furious was starting to become a massive franchise. I'd love a Riddick RPG, kind of like Deus Ex.

For the love of God, please don't remake this in this toxic atmosphere... we don't need to give tumors to this canon at a cancer level.

It is unknown who collected the infant Riddick from where Zhylaw had left him for dead, or how he got off planet. As his official records read "Place of Birth: Unknown," it is clear whoever was responsible did not reveal Riddick's origins to any authorities. Little is known about Riddick's childhood, save that he was, by his own admission, educated in the penal system. While Riddick retained memories of massacre on Furya, these memories were repressed and forgotten, likely due to his extreme youth at the time. Instead, he believed his mother attempted to kill him at birth by strangling him with his umbilical cord and dumping him in a liquor store trash bin [1]. After some time, Riddick discovered a flaw in the system and made his escape. He then hijacked a Heavyguard and fought his way through Butcher Bay's corporate offices to reach Hoxie. With help from Johns, Riddick confronted Hoxie in his office and killed his personal guard. Already tired of dealing with the prison officials, Johns helped Riddick to elude the guards, and the two tricked them into killing the warden. They then stole a ship and escaped the prison. You played like a true Riddick.
Wow.... this and Dark Athena were so well done. You put a lot of time and effort into making these games into movies, and I’m amazed, awed and impressed with your labor of love. I’m also enjoying the impressive voice talent in this game, too. Sorry I never got to play Butcher Bay or Dark Athena, but this is just as amazing.

Thing I don't get is why doesn't riddick use his enhanced eyes in the dark more in the game. They always use the guns flashlight as a main source to see in the dark
Really well done! The editing was wonderful and I got a real sense of the character and background that the full gameplay gives. The only drawback was leaving out the opening sequence where Riddick is on the ice UV system planet from Chronicles, and he talks to Shira. I thought that added a lot to Riddick's understanding and gave a why to when he told Jack how he got his eye shine. Either way, beautiful!

ONe of the best games I ever played. PERIOD!
When I think of good movie-licensed games, this stands top of my list.
This game is badass. I remember getting this game from my uncle back in 2012. Good memories

Wow.... this and Dark Athena were so well done. You put a lot of time and effort into making these games into movies, and I’m amazed, awed and impressed with your labor of love. I’m also enjoying the impressive voice talent in this game, too. Sorry I never got to play Butcher Bay or Dark Athena, but this is just as amazing.

This came out in 2004, the graphic is insane! Not even Doom 3 looked this good

2004 really put PC hardware to the test, we had Riddick, Far Cry, Half Life 2 and Doom 3. My PC could run none of them lol.

Miss this game was ahead of its time haven’t been beat in the awesome gritty dark genre in my opinion.
Thing I don't get is why doesn't riddick use his enhanced eyes in the dark more in the game. They always use the guns flashlight as a main source to see in the dark
He didnt have that ability yet in the storyline. He gets that later in this very game though.

Really well done! The editing was wonderful and I got a real sense of the character and background that the full gameplay gives. The only drawback was leaving out the opening sequence where Riddick is on the ice UV system planet from Chronicles, and he talks to Shira. I thought that added a lot to Riddick's understanding and gave a why to when he told Jack how he got his eye shine. Either way, beautiful!

A timeless one….and it looks well plus a great story and cinematic up today.
