I love playing the game and piece together the clues to figure out which came before which. Gives you that mind blown feeling. Feels good to give the brain a rest and confirm all the theories in a perfect chronological movie. Seriously well done.

My personal chronology of the franchise: Predator, 1987 Predator 2, 1990 Alien, 1979 Alien: Isolation (video game), 2014 Aliens, 1986 Alien 3, 1992 (Assembly Cut) Aliens Versus Predator 2 (video game), 2001 (I also love the first game, but don't know where it fits in the timeline). I've read some of the original comics as well, but they were ret-conned when Alien 3 came out. Still, they are an entertaining (alternate) continuation from Aliens. All the other films (including Resurrection) are just non-canonical "what-if" stories, imo. Don't get me started on "Prometheus," "Covenant," or the upcoming "Romulus." 🤮

2:05:35 lol wtf are those tiny ships shooting missiles at each other 😂 That completely ruined the whole scene lol. I was just appreciating that they put the Engineer ship in the game and then those tiny ships appear and don't even look like holograms (which I assume they're supposed to be) looping and firing missiles 😂

Started playing this game a couple of days ago, but didn't stand the "hide-and-seek" forced element of it. This is a great narrative alternative. Great work.

Absolutely incredible work. It speaks to both the game and your playing/editing that, despite knowing everything was in control, I frequently gasped and realized my heart was racing. Your aggressive gameplay style really added to the thrills.

Bought this for Android and..idk, it's not bad. Compared with Alien Isolation though, it's not even in the same ballpark. Still relatively fun, tense in parts but stubborn and frustrating to "Be Everywhere At Once" all the time. The fnaf style of gameplay I never really liked..not even for fnaf. It feels more like a "management" game than anything really exciting. No real action, little terror and repetitive to the point of boring gameplay. Every new level is pretty much the same as the last and it gets old pretty quick. Isolation I would give 9/10. Blackout..idk, 5/10?

Never understood the hate of this game…while it did have bugs and the final product didn’t live up to its prior concept as expected. This game nonetheless has a spot in my childhood. The story may be a bit cliche but it all makes sense to lead up to the events after Aliens and Alien 3. The dlc story filled in the gap for Alien 3’s terrible plot hole of the eggs getting on the Sulaco, Hick’s survival, and to top it off - it only makes sence that W-Y brings kidnapped colonists and PMCs to come to take over LV-426 and utilize said colonist for experiments, after the events of Aliens aand after Burke’s failed attempt to contain the situation - to unlock the secrets behind the Xenomorphs and the Space Jockey ship. The entire story could’ve been better but this made the game all the more interesting.

I love that despite being scaled up and remastered on pc, its being played very clearly on a logitech usb controller
