- This is a story-based video for the game “Aliens vs. Predator 2010” in movie style:
◾️ I added my own cutscenes with footage that you can't see during walkthrough. Some of it with audio diaries. Audio diaries are easy to miss while playing, but they help you better understand the plot.
◾️ The plot of all campaigns showed in chronological order.
◾️ Also I removed the interface of the game (except for the marine’s motion tracker because it’s canon!)

Events starts on the planet BG-386, sometime after Alien3, where a Weyland-Yutani research team led by Karl Bishop Weyland has discovered a Yautja Pyramid, and is simultaneously studying the Xenomorphs found there and hoping to unlock the advanced technology contained within. The Aliens soon escape, prompting a response from the Colonial Marine Corps, while the Predators also send three of their members to investigate.

Play the game when Xenomorph Queen is final boss!
Six's story line could be tied in very differently if her levels were rearranged. Simply have the Labs first, then the Ruins which give plenty of time for Predalien to chestburst and grow. Then the Refinery and third level, before ending in the Jungle. Reason why I say that is because the cutscene where she collapses is where the Jungle level ends. and the Ruins are near the Labs where she was born.

There was something amazingly terrifying about playing as the Marine. That feeling of hair-raising dread the moment you go from complete silence and dull ambient sound, to hearing that blip on the movement radar, following then by complete silence. *_ESPECIALLY_* during the Marine's story back in AvP from 99.
Agreed. Marine really felt like a wet paper towel on the harder difficulties in AvP 1999. Those Xenos came out of ANYWHERE and change direction so frantically. Definitely worth playing again with the High Poly models mod.
@@SurfbyShootin Especially during the first mission where the Marine encounters the face huggers. Space-vacuum silence, that deep tone brass instrument playing in the ambient music, and you know immediately what that skittering, clattering sound is on the floors and you can't see fuck all. Even when toting a flamethrower you felt so vulnerable. Damn now I wanna play it again.

I honestly hope they come out with a new one, I loved this game, and the online was pretty fun, even as the game died there was a small community of players, you'd hop into a match and start seeing the same people until you knew exactly who they were and everyone would use a mic and talk to each other. Slowly the last 50 of us started leaving, I think I was in the last 25 or so, played on Xbox 360 by the way.
I'm high as fuck, seriously these kind of games build amazing communities, theres the story of a year of my life.

I love how at 2:37 you can actually see Specimen Six crawl back into the host's chest, very clever.
Also fantastic job blending these all together in chronological order, I imagine it took forever, thanks for doing this!
You can also see her run past in a grate during the Colony mission of the Marine Campaign when you go outside for the first time and if you're quick enough you can land a few shots on her.
the amount of effort put into this will set a bar of expectations so high I doubt I will ever witness again, the audio timing, the Gameplay style that changes depending what POV, this is a true Movie that holds the heart and soul of the game played and shown flawlessly.

People hated this when it came out but it's better than Prometheus, Alien Covenant, Predators and The Predator combined. This and Isolation should be considered canon. Also the Predator's laugh in this is awesome.

This game is certainly very underrated and it should be considered cannon. Not sure with Disney aquiring Fox and separating both IP's we will see them together any time soon. The AvP comics, the AvP Boardgame from Prodos are discontinued and it's pretty quit on the Next front for AvP related stuff....but we can dream. It's a real shame the movies never made an valiant effort to make an AvP movie set in this timeline.

This is a more well put together AvP film than either of the actual films. The use of footage from the trailers, the use of the audio logs, brilliant! Makes me appreciate AVP 2010 sooooo much more now.
Nuk Su Cow This game was the best to be honest. It was so atmospheric (something that AvP2 lacked) I really want to get this on PC considering that’s where most of the player base is at.
I'm sure we can all understand why most people in this universe are fascinated by the xenomorph species, because they're intelligent/cunning/ruthless and they're always one step ahead of humans and sometimes even the yautja.
I always thought the xenomorphs look so badass and I love the predator franchise so what I saw the abomination got created I thought it looked f****** awesome

@Lorthern! Dude that was my brother and me!!! Even in the predator campaign I was terrified of the Xenos in both the tutorial and jungle 😂 It wasn’t until I played the Alien campaign before I could play and finish the other two. I still love this game! I get nostalgic thinking about it.
This is basically the best thing to come out from the Aliens/Predator universe since the game itself
If they could actually make a movie like this it would be awesome. Maybe a trilogy. Point of view for each group but the stories intertwine like the game

I have no idea why people don't agree with the fact that it's one of the best in AVP series, though the Campaigns are short, still, it was a delight to play.

Damn... this was the first game I ever bought on ps3, and the first time I ever joined a clan. So many good memories with this game, it was really sad to watch the player count dwindle until no one played it anymore. Im still hoping they'll make a sequel or something similar to this game

Yeah... Except that Six created a new hive on a Weyland-Yutani space station, WY didn't even knew where the "unknown Xenomorph" planet was until the end of the game.

I really love this game so much. I love playing as The Predator, I love the predator franchise so much. Predator is one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time.
Thanks for putting this together, I wasn't even aware that the Alien campaign basically ends half-way through the game.
One thing I can say about this game: it was and is the greatest portrayal of the Predators in any video game, ever.
We have mastered inter-stellar travel, but just can't seem to get better lighting that that of a flashlight or learn to build tighter air vents in Xenomorph facilities. Just need that good air and to save electricity I guess :)

This game is epic. 3 species death match was freaking intense. Marines hardly stood a chance even with the smart gun had little hope. Aliens crawling up walls predators ripping splines lol. Absolute mayhem once one player dies.
Needs remake on both consoles now.

Yeah i though the same about the marines until a i face a marine Main in a mixed species team death Match and melt My Predator in 2 seconds with his pulse rifle
I loved this game back when it came out and especially loved Team Death Match and Mixed Team Deathmatch. The game was unbalanced as hell but was easy to forgive when you had a Marine, Predator and Alien all side by side when entering the next area. Predators were the broken class though. Their weapons were all one-shots and didn't take much to aim. I often found (as an Alien main) that you could die without even knowing the predator was there. And even if you did know, getting to them was a chore in and of itself so beating a Predator 1 vs 1 was near impossible. Fighting a Marine was even worse because you'd think getting in close would be a breeze. But nope - once they saw you, you had no chance of approaching and they mowed you down in seconds even with their default gun. Fighting other xenomorphs felt the best and most balanced, but lets be honest, who plays the game just to pit xenomorphs against one another? I did enjoy the story though and the controls felt fine! Lovely little game that I don't regret buying and would love to see a remaster of it at some point in the future on every console.
Your edit was so crisp and so well put together, that it actually kept me glued to the screen, and made me feel way more nostalgic, than I expected. It was simply beyond reproach. Congrats!
So anyway, here's a little rant on my experience with this title:
The Praetorian fights could've been more fleshed out. Or maybe I'm just butthurt that Monolith seem to have handled them better, both narratively and in terms of game mechanics.
Letting you know in advance that stadard issue ammo from your M41A, or M56 won't cut through their hide as easily as through regular drones or human tissue, unless you hose'em down with literal bucketloads of it, was a cute touch. They _were_ tougher here, don't get me wrong, but 100% manageable with just about anything other than a pistol.
I really missed the minigun from AVP2, its spinup and firing sounds were just fucking glorious.
Ironically the smartgun which was pretty underwhelming in this game if I'm being honest, was perhaps the only thing that Gearbox got just right and nailed it in their design (in a game whose title I will not speak). Lastly, the Marine campaign was a walk in the park compared to the the previous 2 games.
The atmosphere especially felt pretty lackluster. Overall I mean.
The Predator experience just blows everything out of the water in AVP3 - it is just breathtakingly awesome. Reducing the number of melee weapons to only wristblades was neat. It made sense, but on the other hand, turning the combistick to a freaking javelin (harpoon?) seemed a bit off.
Perhaps even redundant considering the disc and plasma caster?
Glory kills and power jumps were one of the biggest highlights here, and just never got old.
Not much to say about the Xenomorp campaign. It completes the story, and the ending is kinda cool too.

Eh, those days were always here, just a difference in how profitable, and, by response, how 'acceptable' it became. But I do agree in that you can tell this was actually made from at least a sizeable degree of love. Made to be enjoyed without the need to shell out more money than the amount you paid to begin with.

@@ChadVulpes Because game devs started gutting their base games and selling it as DLC. Modern cosmetic DLC is a sad settlement reached through frustration with devs forgetting how expansion packs worked.
Personally Aliens Versus Predator 2 back in 2001 is my favorite
Playing a Xeno in that one is the best (mainly because you start as a Face Hugger then a little baby ripping your host's ribcage and looking for food. Then as an adult).
agreed! Also the level design (for the human base(s)) was the most interesting out of any Alien game! The pods were really cool and it made sense for them to be constructed like they were because of the topography of the planet + you had the classic generic human base on the outskirts. AvP2 also had the best plot and they really should have continued with it! You have the Iron Bears under Dunya trying to develop a predator virus to kill of that species, Harrison wanting to avenge Tomiko's death and fighting against the company, W-Y moving their operations to Site #3 and well you already know being a Xenomorph doesn't need a plot haha!
@@alexG106 AvP2 was cool, i remember playing it back in the day right after release, but it is a notch too cheesy from a voice acting perspective & it just looks too dated. I think AvP 2010 had maybe a weaker (or less conveluted) story, but the game itself still holds up due to much better graphics/lighting, less janky gameplay (AvP2 felt a lot like Counter Strike 1.6 because everyone was moving at supersonic speeds) and just insane looking special takedowns as an alien or predator instead of just flailing & low polygon bloodsplatters. AvP 2 needs a remake & i wouldnt mind it if its in the same engine as the 2010 one, however most people don't really care for the predator part (not in small part because every new Predator movie was garbage) so right now only the Aliens franchise gets attention, just played trough Aliens Dark Descent and it is awesome for what it is, just like every Alien franchise game since Colonial Marines ((wich CAN be fun if sold for a few bucks, but not worth the full or even half price, just for hardcore fans anyway).
They should remaster this game for next gen consoles or make a sequel in next gen consoles

amazing game, when playing this i always felt invincible when playing the aliens......powerful when playing the predators......and fear when playing with the marines, i cant remember the game took so long to complete, i must have played it with a different setting, thank you for this amazing gameplay, may you continue to do more ^.^

Even though I haven’t play the game yet the marine campaign kind of makes you like a doomguy but instead of demons you’re fighting aliens.

I'm so glad that footage from AVP was included at the end, and that made watching this video even better.
I loved playing this as the alien, but I found incredibly disorienting at first trying to run at brake neck speeds on all surfaces upside down ect... But once mastered it was worth the practice time. Totally epic
Rookie realized he was a synth and had to stop him, but the outbreak still continued. Both the predators and humans left the planet still with plant life.
This was the greatest piece of work I have seen anyone make with this game. Nice inclusion of the free camera shots and the audio files as well as the AVP scene at the end.
This is how the game should have worked with, instead of "choosing the campaign" it should only have been one where you switch to different species during gameplay according to the chronological game lore, since it confuses a lot of players, and you still miss a lot of the story if you don't pay attention to certain audio logs, btw this makes my skin crawl, and even more with the last audio blog and the AVP 2004 fight clip.
At his greatest potential, Specimen 6 is a dangerous escape artist. I wouldnt be surprised if he live long enough to be a Xeno King.
At his greatest potential, this "Dark" predator uses its resources like the head/eye of a decapitated human for security access AND finds ancient predator masks.

Says all you need to know about Weyland-Yutani that they don't even keep their captive human hosts anesthetized through the chest bursting, but instead allow them to be fully awake and aware so they can feel the agony of the alien eating its way out. That's pure evil right there.
If they anesthetized the host then the chestburster wouldn't punch through, it would remain docile, when the host is fully awake, then the chestburster too becomes awake and makes it's grand entrance, can't anesthetize without the other
@@chrismeyers5963 Well, given that Xeno's and Chestbuster's don't exist, it's all speculation about what may or may not affect a purely fictional organism. That being said, the setting is couple hundred years in the future. You'd think medicine would've advanced enough where they could turn off the pain sensing areas in the brain at least or provide the hosts with powerful painkillers, at minimum, so that the host didn't have to suffer like that for Wey / Yu to get their little trophies? The fact that they kidnap and implant the critters on other humans still supports my original statement about Wey / Yu. Pure Evil.

Anyone else find it funny how when you play as rookie the smart gun is op but when the ai use it you don’t actually feel threatened at all as it takes half an hour for a smart gun marine to even get to the location before opening fire. 😂

I think the only thing I would change is I'd put Specimen Six's transformation after the end of the credits, make it into a post credits scene.
6 is the toughest Xeno I've seen. She's basically an extraterrestrial Michael Myers.

Hu Jiaming well the other campaigns your the monster, so when you play as the marine you know what you're in for, and just how screwed you are.

Nothin' short of Brilliant. How all this fine detail is created is still a mystery to an old codger like me.
I like the audio diaries adding context, and the placement of these cutscenes was perfect. Only exception in my opinion is Specimen 6's conclusion. It is a scary ending to wrap up on, but could make for an even scarier post-credit scene.
I love that the Rookie's login password for hacking and typing on the keyboard is just MART! 🤣🤣

a full multiplayer experience would be amazing too, classes, levels, customization. I would be weary of “remastering” it as the base game and multiplayer was clunky, unbalanced, and awkward. They got a lot of things right though. The look and feel of the three species and sounds etc.
