I had the major blessing way back in early 1993, when I was in the active Navy and on Liberty Call (Navy vacation) , I was able to see/visit/stay in the Alamo City of San Antonio for a couple days. I especially enjoyed all the sights of San Antonio.
As for this video, comparing S.A. vs. Forth Worth, pretty good pros and cons about each city. Being a long time Spurs fan, I first thought about moving to the Alamo City then, kept in mind the heat and humidity. I am kind of leaning towards East Texas, the DFW area, where it's slightly cooler than South Central Texas.

Native San Antonion. Love South Texas. Familiy heritage is there. That said, FW is home now, and I love it here.
That guy is definitely bias towards Fort Worth.

I now live in Santa, Texas. Before i moved to Sandia, I lived in Santa Fe, Galveston county”. The population is close to 14,000 that’s too much for me. Santa Fe, used to be a small town years ago, now it’s a city!!!
My family and I had the blessing of having Dana and her amazing team as our realtor. We relocated from California without ever visiting the DFW area which was a little scary and probably not the smartest move. Good video. I agree that they do a good job with the Fort Worth downtown. I agree that the homeless near the Alamo was a little unsettling when you are trying to walk around. I love the history of both cities. One thing that some people may not think much about is what is there to do for a day drive or within a 2 hour drive? San Antonio has the nearby hill country in Concan, Leakey and Garner State Park for great family vacations and day trips and "floating" the Frio river. Or you can jump to the other side of San Antonio and get the Schlitterbahn water park and also the Guadalupe River for floating and camping. Fort Worth has many State Parks and an incredible selection of hiking and mountain bike trails. Being able to get to Dallas within an hour is cool too. Dallas has so many hip and trendy areas.

After a day of floating the river (many outfitters to handle drop off and pick up) the following day can be spent a few miles away at Garner State Park where the refreshing frio river awaits with more fun, paddle boats etc..or take a hike up the hill to Old Balde. Cabins book quick - so book 6-12 months in advance. Neal's lodges has been around since 1927, there is also Frio Country Cabins or use Air bnb for more options, houses etc..
Would love crime rates mentioned too.
I was shocked by the trash in Ft. Worth, they need to clean it up.

Crime rate here is outrageous at least in FW, there is an unwritten respect depending on where you live. San antone is a cop driven review seeking city. Police are everywhere intell you need them. I wish I would have never left Arlington. We had more murders than the whole metroplex combined in the last two years.
Me and my wife looking relocate to Texas from Illinois we hate politics and high taxes. I live IL my whole life and just had it. We stuck for a few more month but looking at San Antonio or Forth Worth area leaning more towards Fort Worth. My wife’s a school teacher she specializes in ESL and private investigator. I guessing both areas have jobs
