HOW to spend a week in KYOTO, JAPAN (travel vlog)

Kyoto is a city where old meets new, nature meets technology... where tradition meets the future! If you're planning on traveling to Japan, you HAVE to see Kyoto. And if you're going to Kyoto, you HAVE to watch this video to see what it's like! We went to the Kyoto Tower, a pachinko parlor, okinomiyaki restaurant, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Iwatayama Monkey Park, and a bike tour ending at the Fushimi Inari temple.

As a kid growing up in Seattle, Washington, I dreamed of adventuring like Indiana Jones. In fact, I wore out my Raiders of the Lost Ark VHS. My Junior year of college I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy for a full school year. During that time I went all over Europe and Northern Africa… I had officially caught the travel bug. Of course it's worth the splurge. Kyoto is the Spiritual, Cultural and was the Political Capital of possibly the most refined Nation on Earth. I've been fortunate to visit The Emperor's Compound, The Shogun's Compound, Nara, The Golden Temple and experience Geisha entertainment. All of that was a special experience.
