***** maybe you're right. I also think EVERY animal should better stay in its normal environment. But in this case i hope and think this owl is fine and it's allowed to say "oh this is so cute". And another positiv aspect could be: when people see such videos they become more open minded for the protection and conserve of animals in their own environment.

No you don't. That's the one thing that's negative about these "cute wild animals" videos. They are wild animals, and if people start trying to turn them into cute captive pets, it's going to be REALLY bad for owls. Aside from the fact that most owls will suffer in captivity, some of the people in the pet trade, who would inevitably become the 'owl dealers', will become a force of destruction to the wild owl population.

I know this is all cute and stuff, but, this promotes the hunting of all these animals for pets, when they are savage creatures, they must be flying free living in the forest and not in people's houses, I'd love to have one, but I also know that these are species that can be endangered because we want to have cute pets... sorry if I made mistakes, my english is still improving
Not in every country, for example here if you want some kind of exotic animal, for sure it has been taken from their own habitat, and dont forget about Asia, those hunters and all the animals that they catch just for selling them as pets (again sorry if I write with mistakes, please tell me where)
But if you think bigger, that's a little part of the world, and comparing to other countries, this is not very happy
Some animals are better off with loving humans, hence live longer. Always that one negative cookie in the bunch, isn't there?

Not a great idea to promote the taming of wild animals. As an environmental educator, I take issue with this video and the anthropomorphizing of a bird of prey. Saw whet owls are extremely cute but are also fearsome raptors worthy of our respect.
This...this isn't anthropomorphization. Also, as said in reply to someone else, all of what we now consider "tame" and "domestic" animals were originally wild and untame. This is no different from the domestication of Wolves into Dogs.
They get respect by still being treated well. I don't get your angle.
