      @@danh2134 ..How can people buy them when 99.9 % of these were never advertised for sale !!! Lots of cars belong to a person and they die/sent off to retirement home and the family just calls the crusher for them as they just want to sell the home and clean the yard up quick..They also junk antiques in the home/yard just to clean it out and sell it fast !!!
      Even if these cars were for sale,very,very few are...The people watching dont live in the area to ever see the add,or know they were advertised !
      FYI : I bought a car with a total restored/prisitne value of $15,000($23,000 appraisal I had on similar car) It cost me about that to restore it myself...I own a company and sent my guy out to pick it up 3,400 miles away,thousands in fuel and wages to get a $650 beat up not running,engine ripped apart no heads,no intake,no carb,no cam,no transmission..
      But its a slick factory triple black,bucket,console,high performance 440 TNT,727 auto and 3.23 posi(sure grip) rear end in a rare1967 Chrysler New Yorker 2 door ! But its all there and a slick car redone...
      As of today the Interior is done and in,body paint done and the engine is being rebuilt as we speak..I will park it in my garage with my 40 other collector cars I keep and 12 are for sale as its what I do..By next weekend the 540 horsepower 440 will be installed,the wet sanded,super shiny black paint,chrome magnum 500 wheels shine like no others (except my other ones) ..I will park it next to a car that is similar but a 1968 Chrysler 300..So yes people would buy them if advertised..Mine was owned by a 61 year old who passed and the family junked it but the junk yard threw an add up..My Wife an accountant and computer goddess searches everywhere and found this for me...Again 3,400 miles aways and cost me $3000 to send my worker there and my truck to pick up the car.

    Vans, station wagons, hatchbacks, suv, and crossovers should always be crushed with the ass end pressed firmly against the rear of the vehicle so that the rear hatch, doors, don't accidentally pop open during the compaction process.

      I also own 3 dodge Challenger's..a 2008 SRT 1st edition...2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat and a new 2019 SRT Hellcat 797 hp thats ordered and coming ! We also own a 2017 Chrysler 300 s Hemi the wife drives also she has a 2008 Porsche 911 and 2014 Dodge Viper GTS ..The Porsche and Viper are small and tiny inside,good for a 5'5 blonde female of 110 pounds but not a 6'4 255 pound guy ,thats why I prefer older rides and new Challenger's..I also own a 2014 Ford F 350 I use to collect old cars and ship them,also a 2017 Dodge RAM 5500 for same deal..I have 2 hired guys who drive them to pick up my cars I just bought to restore and to ship cars I sold..

    • @RALenterprises
      @RALenterprises Před 6 lety +2

      US EPA regulations, and on some later model cars the petrol tanks are plastic PVC, and or if some are made of a more precious metal than steel, they will separate them and scrap later with more bulk for a better price. The purer the grade, the better the pay.

  • @ericcrawford7207

    Let's see...a nasty, gnarly old Ford Minivan? Goodbye! A frame that has seen better days? Bye bye! A rotted-out, old Buick junker that's half-destroyed and beyond rescuing? Adios! The Gran Prix was a decent car when it was in good shape but even so, it's hard to mourn the loss of a typical 90s jalopy.

    • @georgejacob3162
      @georgejacob3162 Před 6 lety

      It's just that whenever I think of the LeSabre I think of the 1973/74 full sized boats! Like mention Dodge Charger and NOBODY thinks of the 1977 Dodge Charger! America made some truly forgettable cars in the late 70's! Or as George Carlin said "Here is the 1977 Piece of SHIT!" There were some memorable cars though like the 1977 Trans Am but even they were only memorable due to Hollywood!

    Vehicles used in suicides and in violent crimes, like kidnap murders and drive-by shootings etc, should be quickly destroyed like this. Junkyards should be REQUIRED BY LAW, to immediately crush such vehicles upon arrival at the junkyard. A father of a teenage son, who killed himself in his vehicle with a hose attatched to the tailpipe, would get closure if he could see the vehicle that his son killed himself in, immediately crushed. Such a person would get even more closure he he could push the button himself. Road Rage vehicles should also be destroyed when seized from persons arrested for aggressive driving.

      Screw that, the car didn't kill the boy, the boy killed the boy. Most people with a lick of common sense realize that, the rest want to take their pain out on something - which never makes them feel any better.
