Just remember, guys. That's not a Cadillac DeVille anymore. It's a twisted hulk of rusty metal and broken glass that was once a Cadillac. There's no saving it. May as well recycle.
Damn it really hurt watching that red Dodge Shadow two-door get crushed. I have two of them with the turbo. Pretty quick cars and easy to work on and modify. They look pretty good when they're cleaned up.
I love Cadillacs and hate seeing them get crushed. even in this ones case i dont support it. That said there was nothing left worth saving on that old girl.
Best hope that nothing slips or malfunctions when they're bringing the whole load around at the end and that nothing happens to the nice red daily driver shown in the video.
1964corvan that would be a strange place to park a daily driver, in a place where it could potentially get parted out, or in a place where they bring crushed cars through, where yes, they might fall off of the forklift and damage the vehicle.
What I find hilarious is that that there are a lot of Cadillac collectors that would have payed thousands for that rusted out shell. Whats even funnier is that the owner of this yard would rather get 60 dollars crushing it than three grand selling it ! ha ha ha hah !
I totally agree, where is the outrage? Assuming it was "unrestorable" (I've seen worse rebuilt), there were still parts of that car that could be salvaged, and sold on the internet. It's 60 years old!
Do....you all care....what is....in the vehicles when you crush them? Like the bed of that truck....or say.....I put five fully stocked diaper bags and packs of diapers in there before the vehicle came to your yard....????
Why not use them for parts. I know people who would disassemble them for cheap. These parts are badly needed. But I guess this way, it makes them more rare and therefore more expensive for any remaining parts.
carnell rodgers have you ever seen a salvage yard? There's definitely at least two of everything at any decent yard, and most do get stripped before getting crushed

At least most of the parts were removed from the Cadillac to keep other 56 Caddys on the road.
The tree growing out of the filler neck on that truck.
Deffo an eco friendly fuel source on the truck.

The Buick sure crushed up nicely.

James Zamora if it was a old Lincoln I would be crying

OH COME OOOOOOOOONNNNNN!!!!!!!! NOT MY 86 BUICK CENTURY!!!!
The reason the windshield on that '56 got crushed is no one wanted it...hindsight is always 20-20...
That was a rare model with the cab forward seating.
Why can't I get enough of watching these videos? Throw those friggin gas tanks in there! Their annoying me.
I know they're crappy... And this one was rusty... And unrestorable... But I can't help but feel bad for that Chevy Luv Pickup.
Its a weird seating arrangement on the caddy .was this a special edition model?

explosives101 The value of a restored car of this model and vintage is about $15,000. The one being crushed is worth about $200 as scrap.
You know how hard those wind shields in cars like this are to find! An you guys just crushed one!?
This reminds me of a song I just can't put my finger on it meanwhile listening to the song
That used to be somebodys baby
somebody with $$$
A truck that doesn’t have the cab in the bed unbelievable
I feel for that Shadow
That yellow truck looked like a Dotson those were cool looking trucks a72?
Tom Linner *datsun
Oh no not a 56 Cadillac??!!!! But Im glad that it was stripped out and parted out good from what I can see.
I only watch it was to find my cadlak
Hey i need a driver door for a....NEVER MIND 😄
I cared about the Cadillac until I saw the Chevy LUV. That's the real tragedy in this video! :(
The tree groving out of the gas cap, a rare option. It was part of the Eco friendly thing those turds had going on.
9:46 Anyone see the weird distortion in between the forklift prongs?
I could have used that bed off that Chevy LUV
Where do they take the crushed cars to.??are they scared to show the scrap yard.??show more.show around the yard more.??would be nice to 👀 it.

you're crushing the 1950s cars??? my God your boss is stupid for not selling it where it could be loved.
It'd probably cost twice as much to restore that car as it would cost to just buy one that's not a pile of shit.
Dude mostly all their older cars are stripped of any good parts. There was no saving that. It was literally a rotted out shell
