WOT Blitz - Annihilator and Smasher

The Annihilator is hands down a stupid broken tank. So strong, especially if you are a decent player, and it can be really tough to deal with, if you are a new player, or grinding thru i.e. tier 6.
The Match Maker almost always makes sure that each team have same number of annihilators, but for some reason the featured game has 0 annihilators on red team - and that game shows how stupid broken this tank can be.
The second game is my first Ace game in the Smasher - another OP tank, but not as broken as the Annihilator. The smasher is the deathstar of tier 7, and can deal up to 1200 damage with 1 shot.. But at the same time it is slower and a bit easier to deal with than the Anni..
So let me know what your thoughts are on these tanks, and enjoy :) - Hry
On NA, I hardly ever see equal Annis... I started to think that it was a myth that they should have equal distribution of them on both teams... but players like you, that I respect, have said that it definitely used to be/still is the case. I trust y'all... but I def don't see it in my games enough to think it is still 100% in effect. It DOES happen for me, just not that often. Several games in a row happened to me that only had the Anni on one team or the other.
I digress...

It made me think, and I went back and checked my replays - only had 9 left of the 11 played.
Of those, only four games had even distribution, one game had 1 anni on red, and the last four games had 0 annis on red, so maybe something changed, or the MM has some algorithm that tries to match annis, but without having players wait forever for a game..
Tbh I was baffled when I realized this, ad I have to do a bit more research to how this works.. can't have me telling you guys made up sh** :)

I don't know what server you are on... but I assumed that the lack of equal distribution was because NA just didn't have the population to keep it equal, like you eluded to. If you are on EU, though, and are seeing that, then yeah maybe something HAS changed.

I admit to being reluctant to take these both out of the garage. Both garnered through freely gained crate luck, not bought, but never played, not even fun mode lol...I may when/if the mood takes me in the future, give them fresh air, but as for now, dust gatherers in the garage. 🤣 Two good battles though, the AT7 had little chance, especially if you had dropped down and went behind him, but again, like a clever player should do, you used the carcass of a deady to cover and fire when clear to. 👍
Ohhh you should try that smasher - especially in fun modes.
It can be rather toxic, but it does take a bit to get used to, just don't underestimate the HE - U can easily splash someone for 200ish, if u cannot pen them :)
They definitely should have made the Groundtank tier VII with all the other I don’t understand why they put it in tier 8
Same, a part of me is baffled that they put in in tier 8..
