He got 2nd overall in FD Japan. He's already a problem. LB is the scariest round of the year, so he'll be just fine starting next event.

Because of the rain, seeding bracket on Friday was actually highlight and had much better driving than Main event 😂

Shanahan started the enchanting stars, drove beautifully, but alas, an unfair act in a situation where he was not to blame led to a repeat race in the wet... this whole situation puts a lot of pressure on the psyche of the pilots. I want to see Shanahan in a really honest environment.

The highlight is great, but give us more, a bit of the bracket table, judges decision, what fights are we seeing right now…
if shanahan wins first battle and there is no protest how they go back with decision? they see it again? can't happen, judges need to be consistent.
I'm start thinking that fd have favorites, and thats why Drift Master is becoming very popular, they are impartial
They’ve had favorites forever. I’ve watched nobodies throw down some of the nastiest lines against some of the top drivers and still lose.
formula drift judges are a joke
They judges have no control over rolling back a decision and calling a rerun, that's up to a Track Committee, they can overrule the judges decision.
@@joealex65 still, fd isn't consistent with their decisions, i don't care who is making decision, i just want fair and impartial decisions

Imagine teams needed a dry setup and a wet setup just in case. Same safety restrictions just all changes to the HP and have to run rain tires from your tire make company. Would improve testing for the tire manufacturers

Here me out... Bring water trucks to each event and wet the tracks really good. It makes it sooo much more visually pleasing seeing the cars not be smoked out. You can also save on tires ; )

That’s the biggest thing is none of this would’ve unfolded if Ryan didn’t go into the wall.
If Ryan didn’t go into the wall, and then if Conor’s tyre truly debeaded before, then Conor would’ve then either lost fair and square or finished his chase run, call his time out, replace tire, then do his lead and probably win.
Ryan hit the wall first.

Stop saying shnahan was robbed. Since the 1st battle with tuerck, i knew that he was supposed to lose the battle since its been a rule since last year , if you debead on your own, you cant change tire, meaning the second run wasnt even supposed to happen. And on the 2nd run the rain was at fault for him hitting the wall. Yall people need to educate your self how judging works in every aspect of the competition. Making FD toxic for the lack of knowledge
It didn't matter they made the mistake but calling the battle. It was all ready a done deal. You can't just reverse it 🤣. They literally bent the rules on that.
@@11onejay they didnt reverse it dummy, im sure papadakis protested or something(i know theres no more protest so i doubt thats what happened). And actualy if you were watching the stream, connor told on him self, he said he debeaded on the broadcast. From there thats when they went to check if he debeaded. And the thing is that he changed the tire on the low, but it was already said and done by him self.
At the end of the day the situation would’ve never unfolded if Ryan didn’t hit the wall first and then hit Conor.
If you believe Conor’s tire debeaded on the OZ2 transition then fine, he would’ve either spun or or finished his chase run bad.
Then Conor could’ve called his time out and replace a tire (according to the rules you can replace a debeaded tire if you have a time out but that then allows the other guy to also change his tire). After he changed he would’ve done his lead run then a fair decision would’ve been made.
Since Ryan hit the wall all this crap unfolded yet it felt like they pulled every rule, and then even reversed a decision during “half time break” after continuously saying “judging ruling will now be final, no more protest or going back”.
And then I’ll add the rain situation was dumb, on their OMT run, if you look, to me Ryan Tuerck was going into the wall regardless of whatever line Conor was on, but they didn’t review that, they just handed the win to Ryan real quick and moved on.
Then battles later between Ryan and Noback, a very similar crash happens and they spend time reviewing and make the right call saying Ryan (chase driver) was headed for the wall regardless of where Noback was.
Again just felt like FD did EVERYTHING possible to give Ryan another chance
