How Linear Power Supply Works? [tagalog with Subtitles]

  • A power supply is an electrical device that supplies electric power to an electrical load. The main purpose of a power supply is to convert electric current from a source to the correct voltage, current, and frequency to power the load.
    In a linear power supply the AC input voltage passes through a power transformer and is then rectified and filtered to obtain a DC voltage. The filtering reduces the amplitude of AC mains frequency present in the rectifier output and can be as simple as a single capacitor or more complex such as a pi filter. The electric load's tolerance of ripple dictates the minimum amount of filtering that must be provided by the power supply. In some applications, ripple can be entirely ignored. For example, in some battery charging applications, the power supply consists of just a transformer and a diode, with a simple resistor placed at the power supply output to limit the charging current.

      thank you very much my dear friend 😊 Iam using an Android application called KineMaster, I also download diff. fx, and video transition and animation there 😊
      For Photo editing i use PicsArt.
      and for some pictures i downloaded at freepiks.com and for some 3d images i downloaded at grabcad.com😊

    The secondary voltage of transformer should be 2 volts more so that it will regulate properly with your voltage regulator LM7812 unless if you are using LM317 that will accept lower secondary voltage

      depende po sir kung kakayanin po ng amp. sir😅 pro kung nasa 8 ohms ung spk mo thus 8 ohms din i loload mo sir ang magiging total nya ay nasa 4 ohms heheheh..
