  • Wired Ebikes in Chicago has new ebike that is really great so far. 60V 40 A controller, 2000 w peak motor and 20AH battery.
    $1999 just $100 more than Ariel Rider Kepler. This is initial unboxing and unlocking the speed limit. Bike is capable of 33-35 mph when unlocked according to company’s info. The bike was shipped the same week i ordered, arrived literally 4 days from ordering date without damage at all ! So far the bike is great👍
    Will update and review in future videos

I am tall but like step thru ebikes so that I can use the rear rack and still get on and off easily. 1200 watt hour battery capacity should give good range at average speeds. And the 40a controller should provide 2400 watt max and 1200 watt continuous for hill climbing or high speeds. Looking forward to seeing more review video of this bike.

    Thank you for your video. I also have a Kepler. Was thinking about buying this one. Because of the dual suspension and cruise control. The rear rack looks very small compared to the Kepler from the pictures I see. Can you tell me when you take off in pedal assist mode does it give you the power right away? On my Kepler, when I'm in pedal assist mode, it gives me a little bit at first but I have to Pedal more and it comes on kind of gradually. That is why I asked if the wicked e-bike gives you the power right off the bat when you pedal. Thank you.

    • @MrMtr999
      @MrMtr999  Před rokem +1

      You have to go into setting and do a few adjustment. I believe that after unlocking the speed limit, adjusting mph, temperature and tire diameter, you need to adjust C5 setting to 10 to max out throttle output that i found it take off from first twist, also C14 setting to 3 for pas taking off strong from first crank. Yes it has more power than Kepler. I got up to 35 mph with battery@ 59V, like 50% . Others have gone up to 37 mph but i have not gone that fast as i still pamper it. I m gonna add 2nd battery soon and also 2 nd video about settings how to make the bike fast because Wicked Ebikes sell it as class 2 and limited speed. Overall excellent bike no doubt, it is i believe slightly faster and stronger than Kepler if you do dual battery, but Kepler is still one of the best ebike out there besides this Wicked one. I love them both . Thanks for watching

Try to take off from complete stop in pas3 or 5 throttle only can create those noise. But if you takes off from pas 1 then increase gradually it won’t have noise. • @MrMtr999

      For a single 20 ah battery throttle only, i would say 30-33 miles cause you can only use between 100%-40% of capacity, if you drain it below 40% you are destroying it or shortening its lifespan. You need 2 nd or 3 rd battery and use blender to keep them cool when throttle only for 30 mph or above and get at least 45-60 miles with dual setup or tri setup. A 20ah alone won’t last long on throttle only. They advertised 80 miles range only only pas1 not throttle. Hope this help and thanks for watching

    The two most worthless aspects of an ebike are how quick and/or how fast it is. Both do little but take away from the maximum range obtainable. I've found that people who focus on the top speed or how quick ebikes are don't ride much and since this bike can only be ridden off-road or licensed as a moped with yearly taxes and insurance that makes sense. I'm just surprised anyone would spend 2K on this kind of toy. What good is an ebike if you can't ride anywhere you want?

      @@MrMtr999 If the motor is over 750W on any ebike it's not Class-1 and can't be legally operated on most pedestrian infrastructure regardless of state laws. Even if it's just a hub motor. That includes all city, state, and federal parks and national forests. States have the right to make more stringent laws and regulations but they can not make ebike laws and regulations *less* stringent.

      *"The Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA) amended its definition of e-bikes in 2002 through HB 727, a law enacted by Congress. I know Florida is a little... different when it comes to most things but it's still part of America. Of course, you're not going to be stopped and inspected by police unless your riding like an ass, but the second you're involved in any situation or accident that either police or worse insurance companies are contacted you would be at fault.
      I've ridden over 42K miles on a single ebike over the past 7 years... if you get it right you don't need to own a group of low-end rides and I've been stopped in 4 different states while riding. Built quality very similar but Wicked read battery in voltage not percentage like Kepler that is a plus. If you want to add more battery and want more power the Wicked is definitely will give more due to its 40a controller. But Kepler is no less significant by any means, both bikes shred ! @@coolshariq i will do more videos soon the wicked cruiser, right now just ride to work and home, it definitely shred. Off road fat tire is the bomb. I ride mostly pas1 and 2 and burst up to 30 mph occasionally. Cruiser battery is very very good. The throttle responds immediately no relation to pas setup, you can readjust them on KT lcd8h insideadvanced setting when unlimiting the speed limit

      Nice looking bike! Looking forward to your next video. Curious about hill climbing, real world range, seat comfort. I always have to change out seat and add suspension seat post, but this looks pretty comfortable.

      @@johnfreed4651 please watch Citizencycle videos he has done range test on freedom that bike has exact specs like my cruiser. I don’t have time to do range test to burn battery, that test is very time consuming. But he did 36 miles on 1 battery. Also get your choice suspension seat post and your choice seat and you are good to go, the bike ride like a king. I love it .
