I live in La Rochelle, obviously a Stade Rochelais fan, and I've been waiting for this video for ages XD The last stand will be renewed by the summer of 2023 increasing the capacity by 500 to reach 16500. There are 13000 season tickets holders. Next game will begin an ongoing 80+ sold out games serie.
Any plan to close the corners of the stadium ? It's cool what can be done nowadays in this area, like in Metz stadium or Angers. And that could add a bunch more spectators.
@@Desi365 I guess it will be possible technically but that is not planned yet, I mean the stadium has evolved rapidly already, of course many people ask for new seats because the team is currently very good and attractive, but going too fast is a risk.
I gotta say these stadiums have a lot of character. I like it. It's certainly a fresh breather from all the more or less similar new football stadiums in Europe.
the top 14 is my favorite competition, it's truly a unique competition in the world, I love this great diversity of teams, French rugby is rich in terms of players and also in terms of financing. It’s an exciting competition!
Racing is not a club of Paris but located in the western suburbs, in Colombes, 92. The old Racing's stadium was the former Olympic stadium in Colombes.
It's the Grand Paris, It's pretty much the same. French towns are very small, it is more logical to speak in urban areas. The Hauts de Seine is like a district of Paris. The Lyon club plays in Decine, but it remains the Lyon club.
The Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux has also been used for football. It has been the home of Girondins de Bordeaux for a long time before Matmut-Atlantique was built just in 2015 and it was even one of the venues of the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France.
I am disappointed you did not try to speak with “an outrageous French accent” (Monty Python style). But the stadia are impressive with a dash of quirkiness.
Ernest Wallon is a bit underwhelming. The Stade toulousain owns it but they can't make it bigger because of real estate issues. And they can't afford building a new one, they're kind of stuck in the middle of the river.
Been to the wallon for a TOXIII (rugby league) match, not Stade, the Union team, but it’s really nice. Shame about the whole Union being popular thing tho
I like that instead of demolishing their old football stadiums, they keep them and play rugby on them
Most of these were once tracked stadiums.
Always love when you get natives of the country you cover to talk on the video.

@The LIM Report Rumors says he'll be back next year already.

Top 14 is the best rugby league in the world
Nah that would be the NRL !! 😀
Just playing with how you worded it
Agree on the top 14 by the way
Quality video! As you are, I'm a stadium enthusiast 🏟
What is your favorite stadium in the world? Mine is San Siro.
@Footy Fan mine is ishfiri stadium
I am already at your French pronunciations
You should do rugby World Cup stadiums for 2023
The french accent ..... simply amazing . Greatings from italy.
I gotta say these stadiums have a lot of character. I like it. It's certainly a fresh breather from all the more or less similar new football stadiums in Europe.
Love how sarcastic you are. The line that the French never protest was delivered so well

Kinda weird that all of your top 14 stradiums are in the same country...
I remember asking for this. Cheers for doing the stadiums of Top14 😃

Loved the video, hope you're going to do one for the Rugby World Cup later this year 👍
Love your vids! I’d love to see you check out the USL League 1 stadiums :D
I can finally stop my hunger strike. Thank you love your videos!
There are still some games of old round-ball rugby. It was mostly a South Island code but caught pn in North Island and Australian rugby terains
Can you do south africa 🇿🇦 rugby
Très jolie!
You should do the URC stadiums too
I'd like to hear Douglas McNugget's response to that frenchman's criticism of American food products.
Have you done a stadiums of Northern Ireland yet? If not, why not!
It's in the works.

❤❤❤
Tribune Jean-Bouin at Stade de Gerland (lyon)
Usually CZcams videos are top 10 lists, but I guess I can get behind a top 14 one.

At 5:15 "BUT WHERE IS THE HAND STAND?!?!!"
9:10 but the French are famously quite passive and not really into protesting 😂😂😂

I await English Rugby Championship…less Stadiums more unique venues.
Though France second tier rugby might be eye opener.
Any idea what the ground at 9:07 is called? Heard it‘s called mornflakes stadium or sth..
I'm so disappointed you didn't make a " top 14 stadiums" for the top 14 stadiums. This channel is going downhill fast smh
7:31 see that rectangle building at the bottom of the screen? That's the highschool I went to. :)
